Larger than your typical micro apartment. I think this is just the good amount of space to actually live comfortably and the balcony is the cherry on top ❤
It seems larger from the square footage, but the actual livable space is way smaller than other tiny and micro Tokyo apartments (where you can fit both a desk and a bed) I’ve seen.
The balcony is the biggest selling point here for me, love it. Big enough to fit in a small table and 2 chairs, enjoy the view and have some coffee, your dinner and whatnot, very beautiful. Inside is alright but you'll definitely need a loft bed to fit in the working desk afterwards. It's a decent micro apartment although the price is a bit steep but i guess that's Tokyo for you.
Anyone else hit the like button before you even watch the video? I like this one. Perfect for me. The shoe storage shelves look like they adjust so, since I only have two pairs of shoes it would be storage for other things. I'm very impressed on how much storage this place has. Perfect size for me. I'm also afraid of heights but with plants in front of the railings I think I would be fine blocking directly down out. I just wouldn't get too close to the edge 😁 They actually make a single bunk/loft bed that has a desk and a single seat that is a futon type underneath. It functions like a futon couch but it's just a single seat. It would work perfectly in this apartment. I also like how the bathroom is set up. For as micro as the apartment is it seems like it has a LOT of space. 😊 As always, thank you so much for sharing! I also love when you show the flowers. It's a nice touch to the videos in my opinion. 💙🌷🌸🪻 Lol I liked it until you showed the rent. That part I didn't like lol. Otherwise I like it. 😊
I wish the living area were a bit wider. Otherwise, I love all the storage area. I'd add a medium-sized refrigerator and put a shelving rack around it so that it could hold a toaster oven for baking and a microwave for quick heating of items. Depending on what the building allows, I would love to fill up the balcony with herbs for cooking.
Thanks for the video; this is a great apartment with an amazing view. I loved the view! Loads of storage and a loft bed is a great idea. It is very expensive compared to other apartments but this seems to be an ideal area. I am also scared of heights so I don't think I could live there 😄😄😄
Just imagine..you come home after work, school, traffic, whatever... you go out onto that balcony, water your plants, then just sit in your chair (cold drink optional) and take in that view.
I think this apartment has the most storage I've seen! It's tiny, but there are PLACES TO PUT THINGS! But also kinda pricey. I guess you pay for all that nice storage and the convenient location, and the balcony, and the view!
Price is high for the amount of space. I would expect space for a normal bed AND desk at that price. The storage is awesome. I would love a spot for the fridge where that hanging closet next to the kitchen is. You really don't need an open hanging closet next to the food prep.
DId not think of that. A small fridge in that nook would work well far from bed so the noise would not be as bad. and would free up space for desk near bed. I am assuming there is a power outlet near there.
The lack of space for a fridge is the main problem with this room. Next to the sink is the obvious place or maybe the only place! But I didn’t see a power outlet there. It looks great and does have good storage but impractical for actual living.
This apartment has very nice closet space and I like the washer area being separate from kitchen. The balcony for growing veggies is a definite plus. All in all I give the apartment an 8 out of 10. Thank you for showing it to us.😊
Of the many apartments you've shown, this is definitely my favorite! LOTS of storage. A generous entry area. A generous bathroom. LOTS of light! The balcony! A very good use of space. The only thing I'd change would be to remove the door to the toilet room. I like the entry from the inside hallway as well.
Behind door number one...and two...and three....There are a lot of doors in that apartment. And you could store TP behind all of them. The balcony and view: 😻 High end=high rent. But apartment cat can always dream.
Ahhhhh, the soothing opening music. I needed some ritual and some soothing. Thanks for the beautiful flowers! This one has lots of storage! I have to wonder what’s in the space that we don’t have access to behind the closet and the laundry. I wonder if it’s the laundry for the apartment next door? It’s nice to have the laundry behind the bifold door. I agree with the person who suggests making the closet near the balcony door into a tiny “office.” I really like the balcony space as well. A beautiful view, and it offers enough space to place a chair to read on nice days, as well as to grow a few flowers or herbs. It’s a very nice place, although it’s clear you are paying for the wonderful convenience of being right near Shinjuku and the heart of Tokyo! Still, if one could afford it, it’s one of the nicer places. And if you were to live there, you’d have plenty of space for your capsule toy collection! 😂 🎉
This apartments looks very nice. So much storage space. The living area is a bit small. Bed and desk would be difficult. The view from the balcony is amazing.
Love that it has a balcony to grow things but would be too scared to go out there! More storage space than usual which is great, think I'd use a futon to make use of what little space there is. Rent is high but as they say...location, location, location 😉
The balcony with all the natural light is a mental health improver! Add a desk & chair with Shikibuton for bed at night, folding into a daytime Sofa. It would work for me. Thank you for the nice video and cool music.
Hello and thank you again for another fun tour! That balcony is the perfect thing for me! Lots of plants of all sorts! Flowers, vegetables, herbs, vines - all the plants. And bird feeders! And a bird bath! Maybe a folding camp chair or two - the huge comfy ones with the side tables that flip out. I'm retired, that closet would become my sewing cubby. No need for a huge washer/dryer. A portable one would suffice. Amazon is brimming with them. It could live in the tub as it would be easy to pull out when the shower is needed. I would build a floor over the washing machine space so that I could put a fridge there. This area has an ever elusive electrical outlet so there would be a shelve over the small fridge for appliances - air fryer, coffee machine and such. Pantry would be that shelving unit next to the cook top. The section for hanging clothes would find my mop, broom, stick vac living there. Plenty of space for clothes in the entry. Cost is higher but so many extras come with this space for me. This one made for a fun hour of make believe for me. Thanks ever so much!❤
This apartment has more than enough storage places. I think I would use the closet near the patio as my "office". Fit a small table with shelves in there, leaving the door open, making the closet space an extension of the living room. Then I'd use a daybed. By day it would be used as a sofa, and at night it would be a bed. Overall, I wanted so much to like the apartment, which I do. I especially like that it has a grill as most apartments this small do not. But that price! It seems too high to me. I was expecting it would be around 80,000.
I like the neighbourhood this building is set in. You have a spacious entry, well set up with storage. The main living space is bright and open and I’m amazed at all the shelves and cupboards. There does not seem to be a plug for a fridge though. Oh, it’s on the ceiling! Love that you have that wonderful balcony with such a nice view, I’d have coffee there often. Your bath/toilet areas are so large and include lots of storage room and a clothes dryer. But the rent- ouch! Well, considering everything you get and how convenient it is, I suppose the rent isn’t too high. Thank you for showing this great apartment!
Good morning, dear Usui-san. This apartment is an absolute highlight. Perfect location, extensive facilities, fantastic view over Tokyo-to. OK, the price is high, but justified given this outstanding apartment. For me, this apartment is one of the top 3 apartments you have found so far. Your idea for the furnishing is very good. Another little tip: a small balcony table and a small balcony chair and the apartment would be absolutely perfect!!! 😊
Thank you for liking my comment, Usui-san. It's a funny coincidence that the apartment in your video is on the 7th floor, because my own apartment is also on the 7th floor.
@@usui503 You are right, my friend Usui-san, it is more than amazing. It is fantastic and the view from the balcony is magnificent. Imagine if you could see Fuji-san from the balcony, I would rather not know how much the rent would be then.
I’d have a loft bed with a large comfy chair and small table/desk under it. The balcony is a big plus so while working at my desk I could turn my chair to face the window and get all that natural light. And on a lovely day sit outside at a table. And have a spice garden on the balcony.
Hello Usui, a very nice appartment, lots of storage spaces and lots of light. The balcony is a great feature. The only drawback is the high price of rent! Thanks for sharing!
Lots of closet space. Put one roll on and the other one on the little shelf next to it. Rest can go on the shelves in the hallway. Find a place for the fridge and a fold up couch with a table for work and we are all set. I saw the space on the porch and im thinking a small table and chairs set. Do work or even ear outside if the weather is nice. Like this one,my friend.
The is a very well designed micro-apartment. There are several aspects about this apartment that I particularly like. 1. There is a sliding door that hides the washing machine. That helps keep the room neat and clean. 2. Though this is a small apartment, the architect managed to separate the toilet and the shower. Having the shower and the toilet in separate spaces is a feature I personally value. 3. I also like the cabinet inside the toilet. It was very thoughtful for the architect to design such a cabinet for storing toilet tissues. 11:54 Usui, unlike what you think, there IS space to fit a desk. Think about this: the room is 3.1 meters long. Beds in Japan measures 1.9 meters in length. A full size refrigerator measures 0.5 to 0.6 meter wide. So, after you place a twin bed and a full size refrigerator there, there should still be 0.6 meter (3.1-1.9-0.6 = 0.6). You can still fit a tiny desk between your bed and the refrigerator. Or, use a loft bed. Make sure that you get a wooden one with color that matches that of the wooden floor and doors though. There are very nice loft beds with built-in desk, mini-bookshelf and storage space -- and they are not very expensive too. Get one like that. This micro-apartment is very nice, and the view on the balcony is awesome too. The downside is that monthly rent is expensive. Thanks for sharing!
One of my favorites that you’ve showed us, but also one of the more expensive ones that you’ve showed us. 😅 It has everything, though, including no loft and no shower room opening into the living space (something that seems to be pretty common for Tokyo Micro apartments).
I like the balcony - I would use the entryway closet for clothes, the "kitchen closet" is where the fridge should go, I would make the far closet an "office" and the bed in the same place. The big tub and TP storage! If it was 1m wider it sould seem huge - under 8' wide seems too tight
Amazing, very modern, friendly, lots of storage in a creative way! In Budapest, Hungary, you can get a 40-50 sq.m apartments for cca. 70-100.000 YEN in a relatively central location. This includes furnitures and appliances too. Water, electricity, gas and heating you pay on top.
I like this apartment very much! The balcony and view are lovely… Very good design, bathroom very good… A little expensive, but worth it… Let’s see next… 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Love this one Usi! Wish there was a little bit more separation for a sleeping area...but I love that the entrance is separate!😅😊the price though!🧐🙈wow..thats a lot! Looking forward to the next one Usi!
The view is superb and the balcony: a nice gift., the plenty of storage, the hidden spaces: perfect. I find the space to live, sleep ,a little fair and a small separation between the kitchen and this space would make it great. But it is on the seventh floor: An impossibility for you😕 Thank you for this pleasant and bright visit
This place is a winner. Gets great sunlight and you don’t need to climb stairs to get there. The only drawback is you would probably need a futon that you fold every morning. Otherwise it’s perfect for one person, looks newly renovated, lots of storage, it’s also right in the heart of Tokyo. The rent is not bad either depending on how close it is to the station!
Come on man! You need a spoiler tag for the cupboard on the intro layout! 😄 Oof! £650/mth is STEEP! You've shown smaller places that are better and half that price. Lovely view from the balcony though.
Usui San. It was a really nice apartment. I liked the kitchen, there was the possibility of making the kitchen bigger. The balcony was great. And a lot of storage. 🙂
Fold out three cushion sofa with king size mattress. Desk next to it and on the opposite wall a giant television. The only thing missing is a tiny sink on the toilet tank. Wonderful apartment! :)
Finally toilet paper gets the respect it deserves with its own room! 🎉 I really like this one. If the other two shelves/racks are enough, the living room closet door could be taken off, a small desk put in, vertical shelves, whiteboards on surrounding walls - the perfect little office! Looks like the outlet is right outside on the wall. Have a sofa bed against the opposite wall, hang a flat screen TV - welcome home!
Instead of the loft bed, you could use a small sofa sleeper style. desk could still fit next to it. small tv stand with tv right across or use a projector at one of the walls. The price is high, but that is because of the very convenient area with a lot of shops and food. It is a cute apartment if it was in another cheaper location. The Balcony and sunny room are really nice. Nice curtains to frame around the window will make it feel very comfortable as well and have some privacy.
Wow! This room was built carefully in every detail. The view and location are also very nice. I guess right that it’s not cheap😅 However if I have a chance to stay in Japan I might try with all my heart to live in nice place like this😊
Thanks for the video! It's a reasonable price for me given the interior of the whole building (including the entrance, lobby area, and escalator) and that view from the balcony. I would feel refreshed every day if I lived there.
This one has a small living space. But the layout with lots of storage is very good!. I would go with a folding bed or futon with a desk the is movable. A futon can be stored in the closet. A loft bed would make it feel too cramped.
This appeared to be the ideal tiny apartment. It has luxurious finishings. The amount of storage is overly abundant. The balcony and the view are refreshing. The amount of sunlight is invigorating. But the price is a bit expensive not that I know much about the pricing of apartments in Japan, but comparatively speaking, having viewed your other videos. It is the most expensive one I’ve viewed. Thank you for sharing.
I love this apartment, especially all the storage space! The only downsides are the height (im scared of heights) and the price (too expense) but its one of my favorites that ive seen so far!
The balcony was nice, that particular apartment has a great view! Maybe too much storage taking up square footage. The bathroom/washer could have been shifted to the outside wall and the space taken up by the bigger closet could have been added to the kitchen and used for the refrigerator. I'm a very tall person, so sleeping space would be an issue. I think I'd have to use a futon. Maybe a drop-leaf table as a desk or extra kitchen space. I could fold it and either put it in the closet or scooch it in the kitchen area at night to make room for the futon.
Love a balcony. Funky design. 🥰 also tiny cozy entry area. So much storage. Nice. I'm thinking bunk bed, sofa underneath, a coffee table, two chairs and a table on the balcony.
Put the refridgerator on the other side of the kitchen (next to the basin) and turn around the bed so you can enjoy the view while lying in bed. 🙂Then you should have enough space for a desk between the kitchen and the bed. Alternatively you can place the desk at the head of the bed (vertical) with a view outside of the window.
Nice and bright with good storage and you can have a small table and chair on the balcony. A murphy bed with a sofa or a very comfortable sofa that you can sleep in. A sofa is a must!! 😅 And a ]-table. You can add storage for clothes over the shoe cabinet in the hallway. A bit expensive though.
Tremendously wonderful location - therefore the rent reflects this. Although, it is less than $1000/per month, so still not bad. What is the likelihood of renting to a foreigner? Upfront costs? Length of lease requirement? Great layout with plenty of storage and space for clothes, AND it has a balcony with a view. This one is gets an A - . 👍👏😍
This is my favorite so far! Plenty of space for clothes (which is essential for me, but there was never enough space in the other apartments), a decently sized sink in the bathroom, and a lovely view from the balcony. Plus, it's the perfect size - it's not so small that it feels suffocating, but not so large that it feels overwhelming. I'm packing my bags and moving there!! 10/10 🔥 これが今のところ一番のお気に入りです!
Great storage!!! Thoughtful use of space. Neat view! I’m no fan of heights though. Bathroom dryer!! I’m a fan. (Pun!). Linen closet!!! I haven’t seen that! Can you have a cat? But I get why it’s more expensive than others. It’s so good!
That was pretty funny. When I watched it, I said, oh no! This is simply impossible to furnish in a livable way. That room... You can only move there based on the piston principle - if someone moves in, the other person has to back away. However, its equipment is amazing. And you can even use the balcony. A few plants and a small rest area might fit on it. Fortunately, there is plenty of storage space in the apartment - Tokyo-sized. In the closet next to the toilet, e.g. you don't necessarily need to keep 500 rolls of toilet paper, but towels, cleaning products... There are many built-in cupboards, not just that tiny wardrobe. But the room... Quite a challenge. Even if it's just for fun, I might take up the challenge... The place of the fridge is obvious, next to the kitchen. In addition, what you definitely need: bed, desk, shelf, 1-2 chairs, maybe a small table... And the room is only 1.7 meters wide. The solution is again: transformable and multifunctional furniture. (And no, I wouldn't live there. I have a hell of a lot of books and stuff, plus four cats, plus I'm afraid of heights.) www.yankodesign.com/2021/03/21/this-foldable-space-saving-herman-miller-inspired-office-chair-is-the-2021-wfh-investment-you-need/ images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/55bebb51e4b036c52ebe8c45/1441863903375-HZNQIGFS5O0HML9XHJ7S/PodPad?format=1500w marmell.co.uk/cdn/shop/products/horizontaldoublewallbedMurphyhiddenfoldawaybedconvertiblebedwithtopcabinetstorageoverbedunitmarmell_1024x1024.jpg?v=1658556213 marmell.co.uk/cdn/shop/products/double_horizontal_wall_bed_Murphy_bed_space_saving_bed_with_over_bed_unit_top_cabinet_open_1024x1024.jpg?v=1632854851 fabdiz.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/06806670-b2bf-11ed-ba8c-e21f64f39fab_600.webp atlanticfinefurniture.com/cdn/shop/files/a7e1ee32cc294371802766108bbbfb84_500x.jpg?v=1714071794 atlanticfinefurniture.com/cdn/shop/files/e94653670ba24a438bec506ce3a7ba29_500x.jpg?v=1714071506 i.pinimg.com/564x/7e/d7/1e/7ed71e66c1e2eecaf900fe1e5507fbf0.jpg i.pinimg.com/564x/1d/2e/c2/1d2ec22998ef33b1ae4686f5597d91dc.jpg cityfurnish.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/d6c6a732c1f27e39a369a52365e8834d.jpeg
Placing the refrigerater in that spot will reduce the natural lighting towards the kitchen and entrance which can be a real bummer for such a small space. Either you settle for a lower "office or executive" model or the fridge could be placed in the space designated for the washer and vice-versa.
The only negative to this apartment that I saw was the narrowness of the layout, which (as you showed) makes furniture arrangement more challenging. But the balcony and built-in storage make it very appealing. And that location! But as soon as I saw how close it was to Shinjuku Station I assumed the rent was going to be high. 😅That's more than I pay for a one-bedroom apartment in a college town!
Do you like a balcony?
(I like them, but I’m afraid of heights...😅)
I don't mind second or maybe third floor, but seven floors is too scary for me go go out on this balcony! 😆
I have a balcony, put a safety net when I had my cat, and now that he is gone I've kept the net because it makes me feel more safe
I love the balcony. It's a place to sit and see the sun. 😊
A balcony is how you get rid of your fear of heights. Just stare down until you stop feeling dizzy. When successful, move to higher appartment :)
Whaou this appartement is very beautiful, don't you want to move in this one yourself ?
Larger than your typical micro apartment. I think this is just the good amount of space to actually live comfortably and the balcony is the cherry on top ❤
I think its way to narrow, it's barely 5'6 ft in width, that's not a lot of space lol.
It seems larger from the square footage, but the actual livable space is way smaller than other tiny and micro Tokyo apartments (where you can fit both a desk and a bed) I’ve seen.

How much is it? I just want Ask How much is buy Price of the Apartment, not to Rent Price
As there is storage at the front of the apartment you could place a desk in the closet by the windows and shut the doors when it is not needed
Don’t know if I could handle the view from a loft bed on the seventh floor!

Or wake up and sip your tea or coffee (indoors or out) while watching the weather, and the seasons, change.
I should do that more often. My balcony and plants looking sad rn.

I will make a small "office" in the clothes space next to the balcony. Fit a normal bed 😊
Great idea! The ceiling is too low for a loft bed anyway.
I had the exact same idea. Put a small desk in there with a stool tucked under. Smart way to hide any clutter.

Thank you for always commenting.
The 7th-floor room is amazing! 😊✨
Eat not ear😂
I think it's the best micro apartment. Has balcony, on high floor, beautiful city view, modern. And so many shelves... I like this apartment 😍
You can also place part of the desk over the bed. The bed doesn’t have to be at height.
If I wasn’t old 67 and concerned about changed countries, I would love this place.
But it is on the seventh floor: An impossibility for you😕
Thank you for this pleasant and bright visit
This place is a winner. Gets great sunlight and you don’t need to climb stairs to get there. The only drawback is you would probably need a futon that you fold every morning. Otherwise it’s perfect for one person, looks newly renovated, lots of storage, it’s also right in the heart of Tokyo. The rent is not bad either depending on how close it is to the station!
💚💙💛
this apartment is perfect for you !! the set up, the balcony, the living space, the sunshine. if i were you i'd move to this apartment
This is one of the nicest ones that you've shared IMO! Nice view, balcony, storage, and finishings. While the living space is small, it is cozy.
❤ Love this one! It's sunny and has a great kitchen and bathroom. I would get one of those stuffed chairs that makes a single bed.
Nice view! A view can make or break an apartment. I’ve seen relatively big ones in the UK with a view on a wall opposite - or someone else’s balcony
Come on man! You need a spoiler tag for the cupboard on the intro layout! 😄
Oof!
Oh! I really like the sink design, the one with the rack. So functional!
Finally toilet paper gets the respect it deserves with its own room! 🎉
I really like this one.
I just started this video but as soon as I saw the balcony and THE VIEW in your intro I fell in love with this apartment! It's FABULOUS! ❤🎉
This is one of my favorites! Love the washing machine closed off
Instead of the loft bed, you could use a small sofa sleeper style. desk could still fit next to it. small tv stand with tv right across or use a projector at one of the walls.
Definitely the best for me 🥰
Thank you for sharing this great apartment😊
This appeared to be the ideal tiny apartment. It has luxurious finishings. The amount of storage is overly abundant. The balcony and the view are refreshing. The amount of sunlight is invigorating. But the price is a bit expensive not that I know much about the pricing of apartments in Japan, but comparatively speaking, having viewed your other videos. It is the most expensive one I’ve viewed. Thank you for sharing.
they fit so much storage in this tiny apartment!
I really liked this flat! Not the rent price, but everything else 😂😂😂
Thank you for sharing, Usui. Until our next video 🍀
I love this apartment, especially all the storage space! The only downsides are the height (im scared of heights) and the price (too expense) but its one of my favorites that ive seen so far!
this is a very amazing home, cute and a well laid out space. very well! it is one of the best you found! 🤩👍👏👏
I like that hidden space for the washing machine. I also like how the washroom, toilet and bathroom are partitioned.
The amount of storage in this one is amazing (would never run out of toilet paper!!).
Great to see your subscribers amount going up ❤
Wow, what a great space! So much built-in storage!
I'm afraid of heights, too, especially during an earthquake!😱 Nice apartment, though.
10/10 🔥
10/10 🔥
My favorite so far, storage and a balcony! 😊 I like open layouts.
Love that balcony 🥰
Great storage!!! Thoughtful use of space. Neat view! I’m no fan of heights though.
Bathroom dryer!! I’m a fan. (Pun!). Linen closet!!! I haven’t seen that!
Can you have a cat?
But I get why it’s more expensive than others. It’s so good!
I LOVE IT! Usui, there is a lot more space. A wonderful balcony. I can do a lot with that space.
It is so much fun imagining ourselves in these apartments! I also love your choice of music❤, thank you!
LIking the space of the place plus the balcony. Nice 😀
I would store a futon in the closet by the balcony and use a low table during the day. Makes the micro apartment feel bigger! 😊
Wonderfull apartment because of the light and the balcony 🎉🎉❤
Thank you for showing all the details of the apartment. Also, the pricing in the amounts for different contries and convieniances.
I have a hell of a lot of books and stuff, plus four cats, plus I'm afraid of heights.)

Amazing apartment 👏👏👏 the view 😮 all storage 🧻👚 the balcony 🎉 Yes!!
Placing the refrigerater in that spot will reduce the natural lighting towards the kitchen and entrance which can be a real bummer for such a small space. Either you settle for a lower "office or executive" model or the fridge could be placed in the space designated for the washer and vice-versa.
I love how much storage this apartment has! It would be good for me. However, my one bedroom apartment cost much less than what that apartment cost.
Mine too!
A fantastic apartment ! Well thought out !
