It's hard to not like Slipnot and be a drummer. Maybe impossible. lol. What a killer DW drum set. Sounds fantastic. I don't mind throwing in some double bass, but to play that fast just never even occurred to me.
When you Google "Delta Empire", a German drummer's name pops up over and over. Also, Andrea "Vadrum" Vadrucci is one of the OG YT drummers. His version of the Super Mario Bros theme is legendary. You should check him out.
@@MrFEFman I thought the same, but there’s a few things that the two of these guys have in their playing style that’s spot on! Biggest tell tell is his foot placement and the way he plays his chops, very stone like, another like this video said is the way he implements his splash accents, there’s several of Jason’s videos where he does the exact same thing. His body mechanics are very identical, and I’ve never seen them in the same room so there’s that lol. And let’s be honest, yeah he has the tama endorsements, but mapex sounds better tbh. Maybe that’s why he wears the mask lol. In all honesty it’s probably not him, but if it’s not, he’s definitely a fan of Jason’s

How about a Father vs Son Drum Battle? Max Weinberg (The Max Weinberg Seven and Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band) vs Jay Weinberg (E-Street Band and Slipknot). There are two videos on Guitar Center's YT channel from 2009 and 2017, both videos are under 7 minutes, you could do both in one reaction video. The 2009 video was when Max was the studio drummer for Bruce, Max was also band leader for The Late Show With Conan O'Brien so Jay played with the E-Street Band on tour, Jay was still mostly unknown outside Springsteen fans at the time, he was more famous than his father in the 2017 video. I was a fan of Max on Conan, never missed a "ba-dum-tss" whether it was during the monologue or an interview.

Eloy's version is so much more technical, his drums sound far better, and he hasn't had to dress to make up for a lack of creativity.
