Hey Joe great review! The E logos are actually used on Stingers in the South Korean market. They stand for “engineered by excellence,” I’m dead serious. The previous owner probably wanted to make his or her car look more like a Korean-spec by replacing the Kia badges with E badges.
@Raiti’s Rides No problem, that’s what the automotive community is all about. Thanks for reviewing the Stinger and countless other cars, I’ll continue to stay tuned.
For sure. Also the black part on the doors are for preventing ding/dent for parked car next to you. In Korea, the parking space is really narrow. Narrower than compact here. Need to be careful when you open door to get in so a lot of people put some sort of soft things on doors to prevent it.
I love how the previous owner chose the colour option that metallic white suit with the carbon fiber hood and wheels. I'm glad the previous owner made the heat extractors functional on the carbon fiber hood. Just like you said, the front lip spoiler does look massive

Great review, Joe! I have the 2019 Stinger GT1 AWD myself (in Ceramic Silver), and I agree that some of the cosmetic mods that you zonked are a bit much IMO. There's a good following of Stinger owners in FL, with a number of them with a good mix of performance and cosmetic mods. You should reach out to some of them and feature one of those in your next video. I can help connect you to one of them (I'm in a number of Stinger communities) if you'd like.
I have several other mods for my GT2 Stinger that this one is missing. There are shift paddles extenders that look great and make shifting easier. There are door handle inserts that look like speaker covers that are cool too. There are also Stinger decals for the door sills that are a nice touch.
I can’t believe they didn’t change out the Kia logo on the steering wheel. Everybody changes that logo out. Makes no sense to change everything else and not change that logo.
Love this vehicle. Most of the Kia badging has been removed. They forgot about the Kia on the steering wheel. This car in red or blue with awd would’ve been perfect. Still like the front of the G70 more than the Stinger but love all the carbon added to this particular car. Excellent review Joe in spite of all the zonks you gave this one😀👍
Hey Joe, I actually bought a 2020 Kia Forte GT automatic because of watching your videos. They didn't center the rear Stinger badge when they moved it and that is killing me! Other than that tho I think they did a tasteful job with the exterior mods. Kia also uses different hood badges sometimes on their models in South Korea - one badge that has a K shape in the middle and one that has the E / B shape like on this. You can also buy them online. Pretty good review but you’re wrong about 2020 being the first year of the “Stinger” script on the back center part of the trunk. They actually switched that from the factory for the late 2019 Stingers. So late 2019 VINs has that Stinger script in the center which mine does and came that way. Early 2019 Stingers did not have that.
I was referring to across the board.
The car door stickers are really popular in S. Korea, when I lived there for a couple years I got a sticker pack one time when I ordered some pizza. im surprised Kia integrated it into their car.
I am more interested in your watch, which one is it. Looks awesome.
Thanks Sami! It is an Invicta.
A black round gas lid would have looked much better than the square !!!!
AGREED! The carbon fiber makes it stick out like a sore thumb.
These are facts, man ... Thanks for the daily download😻😻🙏🙏🙏🙏
excellent video as always
I like how toward the end he always says he'll see you at the dealer in a split second, and literally a split second later, he's teleported to the dealer...
The Stinger is my obtainable dream car and I'm definetly gonna be getting one soon!
Hmmm... I don't know. The 2021 Acura TLX is looking hot. Has Acura just stung KIA?
It will be interesting!
