Hey Joe great review! The E logos are actually used on Stingers in the South Korean market. They stand for “engineered by excellence,” I’m dead serious. The previous owner probably wanted to make his or her car look more like a Korean-spec by replacing the Kia badges with E badges.
@Raiti’s Rides No problem, that’s what the automotive community is all about. Thanks for reviewing the Stinger and countless other cars, I’ll continue to stay tuned.
For sure. Also the black part on the doors are for preventing ding/dent for parked car next to you. In Korea, the parking space is really narrow. Narrower than compact here. Need to be careful when you open door to get in so a lot of people put some sort of soft things on doors to prevent it.
I love how the previous owner chose the colour option that metallic white suit with the carbon fiber hood and wheels. I'm glad the previous owner made the heat extractors functional on the carbon fiber hood. Just like you said, the front lip spoiler does look massive
Previous owner made the right choice which is making the heat extractors and other vents functional and change some of the body panels with carbon fiber. Loving it.
JB4 sells a whole kit with a tune that will put these to 450whp. These cars are so sexy but door handles and gas door should be same color. Roof should be wrapped and every window tinted including the front. Guy made a good choice for trading it in for a M4. Another excellent review Joe!
I’ve watched many of your videos, Joe, and they’re great. But I bet what many people don’t pick up on - and what I didn’t realize until last week - was how often you are getting the whole exterior, the interior, the dash, etc. in just one continuous shot each. That is tough to do. It flows nicely. Great work!
I had a red one pass me last week as I was in my black beauty here in Sydney. The chap had fitted black side skirts, black wheels and a black spoiler. It looked the mutt's nuts. Also had red and black number plates which was a nice touch. The white stingers look sensational with the dark red interior. Nice review as always. By the way, the heads up also gives you the route directions if you set a destination on the sat nav along with speed and lane keeping assist information.
Love this vehicle. Most of the Kia badging has been removed. They forgot about the Kia on the steering wheel. This car in red or blue with awd would’ve been perfect. Still like the front of the G70 more than the Stinger but love all the carbon added to this particular car. Excellent review Joe in spite of all the zonks you gave this one😀👍

Great review, Joe! I have the 2019 Stinger GT1 AWD myself (in Ceramic Silver), and I agree that some of the cosmetic mods that you zonked are a bit much IMO. There's a good following of Stinger owners in FL, with a number of them with a good mix of performance and cosmetic mods. You should reach out to some of them and feature one of those in your next video. I can help connect you to one of them (I'm in a number of Stinger communities) if you'd like.

Having owned and driven multiple performance cars I dont feel as confidence in the tire selection and will definitely be getting a different style tire when needed. FYI the CF trunk style is typically called a duck bill style trunk or spoiler. Great review, saw it today and thought well that looks like mine and then you said Reeves and I was like no way thats my car lol

I believe that car is in the dupont registry. Definitely a great buy. When I buy one, it's definitely going to look just like that. I already wanted white and the spoiler is a good touch.
I have several other mods for my GT2 Stinger that this one is missing. There are shift paddles extenders that look great and make shifting easier. There are door handle inserts that look like speaker covers that are cool too. There are also Stinger decals for the door sills that are a nice touch.
I can’t believe they didn’t change out the Kia logo on the steering wheel. Everybody changes that logo out. Makes no sense to change everything else and not change that logo.

Hi, Joe, so, I see you picked up some of my comments on the stinger vs the G70. Good call! Still want to point out the lack of a true manual mode on the GT2 vs the GT1. And like most cars with some form of “slushomatic”, the car opens up when controlling the gearing (oh for a real manual option). If I was modding this car, a J.B. 4 piggyback with the mandatory spark plug upgrade and a stiffer rear sway bar would be my vote. I kind of like a stealth look and sound that fools everybody. Keep up the good work!
I agree with you, the previous owner went overboard with the use of carbon fiber on the exterior and I'm very surprised he didn't apply any of that on the interior. Overall, great car in its own right. You killed me with the whole "banana scratched" bit. LOL
I lived in Korea for 7 years. I have seen all types of Korean cars, even before they exported them. They were making them for Koreans, to drive on Korean roads . They have come a long, long way. Over the years, they have had quality problems. They have them even now. Now, I hope and pray, they go the way of Toyota, and make customer care and service, at the top of there reason to exist. The money and fame, for KIA will follow. Than this company will grow even more, buy leaps and bounds. Now, to this car, the Stinger. I was shocked, and blown away by this car. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. The Geniuses looks nice, but the short cuts, and the cheap engine is not the way to go. If they make quality, and use medal instead of plastic, to save money, they are just following the pack. If KIA set the example, and make quality and customer service, be their guiding light, KIA, could out shine all the other car companies. Each unit might cost a bit more to make, but return customers I think would surpass all of that. Your reputation is on the line. KIA is at the crossroads right now. I hope they choose their path wisely. This car, is really the kind of car, that could define the future of their company. Come on, the cheap plastic tubing to and leaving the fuel filter reportly has burs, that could build up, and clog fuel. A cheap plastic tube, when you could have used medal. This Is how you ruin your reputation when you should be building it up. KIA, for God sake, look at what you are doing to yourself. This car, should be your flagship. I would like to see a 2 door version, and a manual transmission type for this car. Anyone whom knows cars, also knows that a manual transmission in the long run, is better than an automatic. Just a few thoughts, on what you could do with the Stinger. I am impressed with it, so far. I know what KIA, could do. What I didn't know which way you are going to go. The way of Toyota, or Daewoo. Yes, I know. So do quick profits guide you, than you have quality control problems, and mad customers, or high costumer loyalty and praise, in the automotive world. Like I wrote, KIA is at the crossroads. Which way are you going to turn? Dave in Sierra Vista AZ.
Hey Joe, I actually bought a 2020 Kia Forte GT automatic because of watching your videos. I live in Tampa and actually recently got a RaceChip GTS tune for it, giving it 250 HP and 280 lb-ft of torque now. If you are interested in giving it a drive after the tune, I would love to connect with you and let you give it a spin. I know you'll love it. Love the videos man!
Man how cool would it be if kia brought over some of the styling and that twin turbo motor into the telluride (telluride GT?). Competitor to the explorer st and durango R/T.
I always use the party tray in the center console for pistachios! And the cubby is definitely the best spot for jolly ranchers! And yes I agree the armrest is hard, but it somehow doesn't bother me.
I absolutely agree with you about the mods, I love carbon fiber but that's too much, also the car being white it makes it worst because it has too much contrast, maybe if it was black it'll be a better combo.
Mustang owners upgrade and keep there Ford Mustangs for years to come usually.. That's why you here about// I had a Mustang once or Grandpa owned one. I remember Dad had a Mustang..so on.. Its a muscle car that becomes part of the family!
Some of its good, i would zonk the carbon headlight thing again as well and the gas lid was kind of srupid. The rest is not too bad. I definitely agree the roof should have been blacked out
so i just saw one of these at my gym and i was like dang the stinger looks pretty good, and then i saw the front badge and it had that badge on it and it threw me off soo much i didnt know what it was. soo thank you for reassuring me that im not crazy lol
I didn't even know about the GT2 Stinger stage.......I like the color way and I do agree that the exhaust Joe....I love that car guys have somewhere to watch different cars displayed on your channel
It’s a GT grand touring type car and a bargain . They need to make a super sharp, hard suspension , fast shifting , sport version . A RWD V6 TT manual version. Buyers of lower versions will then have street Cred
I have a wet dream that they put their 5L V8 in it, put some wider wheels and bigger brakes, stiffen up the suspension a bit and call it the Stinger Hornet. The Stinger GT when it debuted was pretty much on par with the M340i, the C43 and the S4/S5 (now those model got some slight upgrades since but the stinger is rumored to also get an update for 2021 so who knows). It would be nice if they made a version that go up against M3, C63 and RS4/RS5.
Not sure if the "M" badge question was answered, but from watching Asian Petrolhead's recent 2021 Stinger review, the emblem signifies, "Longitudinal engine direction, with AWD." The Koreans dubbed it the Stinger "Meister" - which kinda makes more sense.
You really hate fake vents cause those small fake vents on the front are barely visible. I don't even think they were meant to be vents. They just there to match the design lol
It could really help to get extra air to the brakes for cooling and those would work out perfect. Thanks for letting me share all the good & the bad with you!
The car door stickers are really popular in S. Korea, when I lived there for a couple years I got a sticker pack one time when I ordered some pizza. im surprised Kia integrated it into their car.
Great vid, Joe!! I’m with ya; wrap the roof, ditch all that stick on crap, omg can we say “Pep Boys”, lol!!! Always amazes me how many people do that stuff!
Hey Joe great review! The E logos are actually used on Stingers in the South Korean market. They stand for “engineered by excellence,” I’m dead serious. The previous owner probably wanted to make his or her car look more like a Korean-spec by replacing the Kia badges with E badges.

The car gets a Zonk for not having the E badge on the steering wheel.
I like the hood but most of those mods are useless. Here's what he should have done:
- Tune
- Exhaust
- Intakes
Easy 480-500 bhp
Prob did just took the mods off before dumping it. Jb4 and basic mods 👌
Throw in a nice diverter agreed
he should have done? Are you paying his car payments? The mods he "should do" are the ones he wants to do... his car not yours 🤣🤣🤣

Less is more on the mods. Wouldve stopped after the front, hood and the spoiler.
Never paid much attention to the Kia brand but I'm really impressed with this car. The carbon fiber is just the icing on the cake
You are so very right!
Honestly thinking on getting this car its very nice
On a color like white especially you MUST wrap the rest of the roof, should be a law IMO😉❗

Yes! Love the white color in this car otherwise.
Previous owner made the right choice which is making the heat extractors and other vents functional and change some of the body panels with carbon fiber. Loving it.

I like how you list the vehicle price the same time in every video right when you begin to show off the interior
I am so glad that you like that. I love being consistent but I know that sometimes has it's downfall.
I love that too
Raiti's Rides - Joe it’s great that you are consistent. It’s one of the reasons that you are the best.

I live in Tampa and actually recently got a RaceChip GTS tune for it, giving it 250 HP and 280 lb-ft of torque now. If you are interested in giving it a drive after the tune, I would love to connect with you and let you give it a spin. I know you'll love it. Love the videos man!
A brand new RWD Stinger GT2 can be had for under $40k. Those modifications don’t add anything to the value of the car.
Where? Bc msrp is over 50k
I'm waiting for the notification for "Is the 2021 Audi RS7 WORTH the PRICE?" to hit my notification box.
Removal of ALL Badges pre-delivery is a MUST for this car.....can you imagine been seen driving a KIA???
Man how cool would it be if kia brought over some of the styling and that twin turbo motor into the telluride (telluride GT?). Competitor to the explorer st and durango R/T.
I always use the party tray in the center console for pistachios! And the cubby is definitely the best spot for jolly ranchers! And yes I agree the armrest is hard, but it somehow doesn't bother me.
I absolutely agree with you about the mods, I love carbon fiber but that's too much, also the car being white it makes it worst because it has too much contrast, maybe if it was black it'll be a better combo.
Thanks for letting me share it with you Pablo.
@@RaitisRides thanks for these kind of reviews, I never get bored, hope your channel grows like it should
All that customization and they barely owned the car :(
Mustang owners upgrade and keep there Ford Mustangs for years to come usually.. That's why you here about// I had a Mustang once or Grandpa owned one. I remember Dad had a Mustang..so on.. Its a muscle car that becomes part of the family!
They do
i love how he doesnt stop mentioning snacks throughout the demonstrations 😂
I love Raiti's rides!
Hello Joe. Love the aggressive style of the Stinger.
Hey Tom! I totally agree with you! The custom hood really works!
@@RaitisRides Yes sir!
@@stellantistom6881 Thanks man!
@@RaitisRides No problem man
Friends don’t let friends rice their Stinger.
Some of its good, i would zonk the carbon headlight thing again as well and the gas lid was kind of srupid. The rest is not too bad. I definitely agree the roof should have been blacked out
Not rice it's for the most part tasteful and twin turbo v6 luxury sports sedan isn't rice
The Best of Stinger GT2
They put all that money into carbon fibre accessories and couldn't put a bit more into a K&N Typhoon Intake?
Such a shame
AGREED!
So appearance mods only? Was hoping for some mechanical stuff
Trust me so was I!
so i just saw one of these at my gym and i was like dang the stinger looks pretty good, and then i saw the front badge and it had that badge on it and it threw me off soo much i didnt know what it was. soo thank you for reassuring me that im not crazy lol
I am so glad I can help you out! 😉👍🏻 Thanks for watching!
Man 🤯❤️❤️ this car is amaizing, it’s literary an Audi+Maserati combined but reliable 😂😂
I didn't even know about the GT2 Stinger stage.......I like the color way and I do agree that the exhaust Joe....I love that car guys have somewhere to watch different cars displayed on your channel
A black round gas lid would have looked much better than the square !!!!
AGREED! The carbon fiber makes it stick out like a sore thumb.
Looks like they added a tune kit when he opened the hood.
Besides that tune, I would add the rear sway bar which you mention the rear slipping.
Hahaha this one of the funniest reviews ive seen from Raiti
I love the Stinger GT 2 but my favorite color is the Gray one with the Red leather interior. The mods I am not digging at all.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one Dale!
Carbon hood looks much better on red model imo.
You should have zonked that car for not having the red interior. There is no good reason not to get the red interior if you get the white exterior.
These are facts, man ... Thanks for the daily download😻😻🙏🙏🙏🙏
It’s a GT grand touring type car and a bargain . They need to make a super sharp, hard suspension , fast shifting , sport version . A RWD V6 TT manual version. Buyers of lower versions will then have street Cred
That is a great idea Darren!
Bring more modified car content!! I love it keep it up awesome content
If you had to choose between the Stinger and the Genesis G70 which would you prefer?
Great Question Josh. ZI am going the Stinger GT route.
Great vid, Joe!! I’m with ya; wrap the roof, ditch all that stick on crap, omg can we say “Pep Boys”, lol!!! Always amazes me how many people do that stuff!
