I’m having a problem when taking the helisafe apart and not being able to put it back together before tying it up. I want to use it with mono so does it still work?
Good vid apart from best if cut lead swivel off as they seem to come off as hit water if swivel left on lead every now and then....very annoying if bob on with cast and then feel no resistance to tighten up too lol
This seems to defeat the object of fish safety.. you got a no trace bead on the top what let's the fish escape just leaving a hook link. Now you lose the lead before the no trace bead so the fish no has lead core aswell as a hook link
Exactly there are 100s of leaders that drop the lead. Its becoming more of the norm for rigs to drop the lead but they leave the 60lb leadcore for the fish to have hanging out its gob.
@@dubmilitia5592 exactly you're right. thats why they should use the collar that comes with the kit to prevent the lead dropping but these guys dont choose to use that method they seem to think dropping the lead is better using this method and it isnt.
Ryan Fortune i was lucky enough to buy loads of the korda heli safe tubing kits. But if you haven’t got that, you want to use a pva tail rubber and cut it down about half way and melt the cut end to give it a lip. Use that to push through the top of the heli safe then push your tubing into it. It was made easier with the heli safe tubing kit as the top part of the heli safe was bigger. If that isnt clear i will send some pictures if u want
So with this, you are saying it’s better for the fish to drag the rig, 3ft of lead core and whatever line snapped off rather than just the rig? Totally opposite to what a safe rig should be and should be banned.
I am going to try this on a really weedy water and that’s what I am really afraid of. Loosing the lead every time reeling it in trying to pull it from thick weed 🤔
Where is buffer bead above helisafe ?

You should try and do a company match where some people from ADTV sign up for a match with feeders or poles. Just your average match.
Going all serious on us with the beat
Serious beat for a seriously good rig set-up. 😏
This Is serious stuff
I dont see how it's safe surely you need the weight of the the lead for the swivel to pop the top bead and just leave the fish with the hook link .
I said exactly the same I've used them and the slightest pull or knock the lead releases leaving the leader trapped in its mouth
I still don’t understand... you lose your lead every time you hook a fish or the fish loses the lead in the case of a break off?
The first one. Honestly unless you're fishing in a snaggy or weedy lake dropping your lead is pointless.
Super pour bien polluer nos eaux de plombs

Doesn’t the rig push past the bead and come of of the leader
@@dailygrafter1170 it's meant to but if there's no bomb on end then it's got nothing to pull against

If the lead drops the fish can't get rid off the leader...
Serious beats for this 😂
I know right!? 😂
Is this to catch the fish or the fisherman ??? Seems very complicated for what is simply to catch carp!!!
I am imagining a lake where the bed is made up entirely of leads in a nice mosaic 😆😆😆🎣👏👏
Especially embryo lol
I assume you cannot use tubing with the heli safe
Lol this a trick question??
You can and I do. Set up is customised slightly though to work. I love it bcos i use heli set up only and i cant use leadcore on my lake
Jack Frank how have you achieved that?

deep gangsta rig
lol
would rather be talked through it than put up with generic repeatative music

and I should lose 3 euros of lead every time I catch a fish on the start? also no
Wtf??? I want to fish to enjoy not to be spending my life making up elaborate rigs that don’t even make sense you shake it and lose your lead???
No sense article
Really good design by losing your lead every time from a lead producer . Win Win !

This is set up wrong no wonder people are losing leads on the cast lol
