Generally, trail shoes rubber is "grippier" or "tackier" which means that the tradeoff is that it wears down faster than a shoe made for concrete. With that said, if you really like the shoe, it would be totally fine and offer great grip as you commute on foot, especially when the surface is wet.
First run with them this morning… the toe bumper definitely works!
Neither of these guys has worn the shoe even once :)

Could this work as a commuter/city concrete asphalt surface shoe? Would those lugs wear down quickly?
