My experience with viscose super soft feeling tops/sweaters (some of my Amazon finds and their essentials soft touch hooded sweaters ) they start soft but over time with washing- pilling and softness disappeared- became nubby.

You never know where you'll find good stuff - everything doesn't need to be expensive to work and bring happiness! The blazer looks pretty good from here and I love the blue dress at the end in particular.

I'm so happy you discovered time and tru. I've been buying that brand for years, because it's pretty good and great prices. There's a learning curve though. Most the time the sizes are larger than other brands, so for you I'd recommend extra small. I always read the reviews and they are usually pretty trustworthy in my experience. Honestly it's hit or miss but mostly hits. Because of the low price point, things sell out very quickly so when in doubt I order 2 sizes planning to return one. Walmart's return policy is terrific, and I've never had a problem. Their denim jacket is so good and comfortable. My favorite pieces have been in the cotton poplin, lyocell, and the rayon spandex. I hope that helps

I agree! We are not allowed to wear jeans at work, but I have 2 pair each of black and white T&T stretch "jeans" that allow me to wear "jeans" every day and be comfortable at work!

I really loved that olive green linen dress on you but unfortunately, they don't carry it in a color that flatters me. 😢 I have a light blue handbag that I've had for a few years, so I'd love to see a video on what to wear it with. Thank you for the Walmart haul! Their clothes are so affordable and their quality has gotten so much better. I like the convenience of being able to return to the store and not have to ship back. I just ordered the olive green dress. Love the style AND the color! Please keep on doing Walmart videos. There are so many of us on budgets. Plus, I'm always hesitant to purchase from stores I've never tried before because I'm unsure of the sizes that will fit me and as I mentioned, returning by shipping back can be a hassle.

Seamstress here - Look closely at how the check blazer fits. You need to move the button that is fastened. Up I think just a bit and it will look tons better. Cute styles. I had a blue leather Vera Bradley tote that went with almost everything; I do wear almost all blue undertones in my clothes though so that makes a difference

I bought that blue striped shirt and returned it. The button is only really visible if it’s totally buttoned up. It also felt cheap and fell off after buttoning it twice!
Hi Jamie, I bought that pink polo sweater and I love it. It’s so soft and it’s light weight so it won’t be too hot. A good Walmart video, some really good pieces.

Im 5''3" , 115lbs. Just like Amazon, Walmart is hit/miss in the quality of fabric and fit for me. I've returned more than kept items. But everything looks great on you! I may have to reconsider 😊

I also purchased the pink sweater and love it, although the sleeves are a touch on the long side. I also purchased a pair of Time & Tru embellished slides (with a silver buckle). Great finds are found - online! My Walmart had nuttin' .. lol.

Thank you for all the great ideas. Several years ago, I bought a cute dress for a baby shower….it was around $80. A few months later, I found the exact same dress at Kmart for about $25. My point is it pays to shop around, you never know what you’ll find!

The one top you said was too big--doesn’t look too big on you. I like the color and pattern on it. Maybe try a belt with it? If I were you, I would keep it and wear it around the house as a comfortable “loose” top because it looks good on you!

Really liked all the dresses you got. My fave is probably the olive green one, but I also liked the shape of the floral blue (the print isn't my vibe but I liked the color) The layered dress seems like it could be very versatile & depending on how you styled it appropriate for multiple seasons if you live in a mild climate. Also really liked the pink polo neck sweater. I appreciate a v neck with an actual collar. I've noticed that not many tops or dresses have actual collars anymore, even button downs, & a collar just elevates the look of a garment imo. If Walmart has plus sizes I might have to check them out :)

Wow, I didn't know they would do anything about that. What did they do?
Yes! I was taking the advice from influencers to order what size you think you wear and if between two sizes to order the next size as well and return what doesn’t fit. I ordered a ton of things that way. All of a sudden, I got a notice from Walmart saying my account had been closed completely for too many returns. I could not believe it. I absolutely could not believe it because I shopped their online store like I said a ton of times. We ,being my husband and I, attempted to call them and explain… I never wore anything and tried to return it. I never wore any clothes that had been worn And they were in pristine condition. I had just tried them on. But that’s why I put out that warning is if it happened to me, it can happened to you so beware .I don’t even go into Walmart to shop. That’s the only way I can get something from Walmart but I choose not to after they did that to me. Thanks for asking.

I actually bought some of these, and was especially excited about the denim skirt. But Walmart sizing has gone wonky... the XS was definitely too big and there was no XXS offered; everything went back. Am going to try some of these suggestions as well but my sense is that petite women are no longer of interest to the Walmart marketing team....
Hard to believe these are Walmart clothes. Walmart clothes never fit me right. Their clothes seem to run super small. And, I am petite! Kudos to you for finding clothes from Walmart that fit and look good on you!

The shirt dress and floral dress were my favorites. Temps are still in the 30's here in the great white north, so I can't see wearing them before May. Every time I look at those huge bags I still think weekend away or day at the beach, not everyday wear. Would love to see how you style it. ❤

@@YourGuideToStyle Likely walmart adjusts clothing depending on the market. I shop walmart mostly for household stuff and groceries. I have bought hats from them recently, they've had great straw sun hats the last couple of years in my local store.
The navy is somewhat stiff, does not have any real stretch, not like a knit. If you want to wear it closed and have hips, size up. I wear 10 pants and waffled on the blazer as there's no back vent, but in the end I sized up to a large. 34 DD, 28 waist, 41 hips. The L looks good, waist area could take 2 darts if I wanted it more fitted, but happy. When you have a button detail such as this, you don't want them pulled apart funny. If you have no hips or never will want to wear it closed, you can go with your true size. Buttons verge on cheap as they are plastic. Arms and shoulders are average
This applies to the NAVY Free Assembly double breasted blazer.

Seems all of these fashion influencers shop online. But I think you can buy these off her link.
I think the top that is too big, is meant to be a "smock top". It's supposed to be a little big.
In store only has a fraction of Walmart fashion. You will likely have to buy on line. If there is a store near you I suggest buying a couple sizes on line if you are not sure and then return to your store what doesn’t fit. That way you get the item before it sells out😊

I have a green dress exactly like it but I bought it several years ago and paid $130.00 for it. I’m getting rid of it because I’m too old for it now. The puffed sleeve is not a good thing at my age

Great video. The jeans skirt does look frumpy. Sorry. As well as the green shirt. It already looks faded and old. You need more color. Maybe it's your lighting but it seems most of the stuff makes you look washed out. Maybe you need to stop your camera's lens down to make the over all scene a little darker and more saturated?
