Bless this pure blissful man. Hurts me a little to see him slip when the rock desintegrated, then proceeds to teach us some more after falling. What a strong man hahaha.

This takes me back. When i was a youngster in the 70s, all of our family holidays were in Port Eynon. We'd spend hours foraging around the rock pools. My dad always had his crabbing hook with him. To this day, fresh crab sandwiches and pickled onions are my favourite summer lunch.
Great video. Thank you, and subbed.

You brought back my memories, all those years i went camping and used to go fishing and crabbing. i’ve been to Pembrokeshire wales quite a few times actually, Tenby and Swansea, my favourite beach there was Port eynon, i think i spelt it right
but please correct me if I’m wrong. I used to go rock pooling with my dad but just about to have my first child so not long to go before i can take him rock pooling. Can’t wait :) My dad was a marine biologist and studied at Swansea university. He used to teach me everything about what we found. Good video btw :) just subbed, maybe ill lookout for you when i next go there!

Pup is a darling one, a bit intrusive, though. (Maybe he stays home on the teaching vids?? I feel terrible for saying that 😞, it's merely a suggestion) 😊 These are my new favorite videos. Thank you.

Thank you for your comment D Devries,I am sure "Llew" will calm down when he is older, but the videos are meant to be educational, show off our Welsh natural environment and fun. I really enjoy having "Llew" accompany me and would not want to deny him a nice day out at the coast, kind regards Craig.

Coastal Foraging With Craig Evans no harm meant, truly, I love this breed.
I would just be so into what you were doing that I would lean in to see what you were doing or what you had, then i would get frustrated by seeing too much of the back of his head 😁
I love your videos, too. Please keep them coming 😊👍 it was just a suggestion. It's all new terrain for me, but I've seen goldies' heads a lot. 😆
Please, no offense meant, love the pup 💕
Thank you for making these ❤

Me and my little girl really enjoy your videos . You've inspired her and she is very excited after asking me to take her Foraging. Your lovely voice reminds us of our Tied. Unfortunately we live in Leicestershire england so we are abit of a drive from Walse. I wonder if all coastal lines will have such amazing creatures and food. I cannot find amazing videos like yours anywhere so I think we will take the 3 hour drive to the nearest coast and hope for the best. Thank you so much for making such a beautiful impact with your valuable time given to these golden videos. Carly and Demi

Thank you for your very kind Carly and Demi, the east coast of England from Grimsby down to the Thames estuary is rather flat and does not have many rock pools, however the large sandy beaches can be great for cockles and the Essex estuaries are world famous for oysters. You would be better off heading to the North Wales coast or the south west of England, regards Craig

fishing fanatics north east Thank you so much for commenting. Have you also had amazing experiences in your areas like Craig? I would be so grateful to you if you could point us in any worthwhile location. I wake up in the morning and have such a huge desire to go. If your help could give us a temporary shorter journey I would be very thankful to you. My mum is shopping for a campervan so we can stay in Wales when we go :) We have our waders ready

does the season affect rock pooling? e.g. in winter you catch less species when fishing compared to winter so I was wondering if in the winter the creatures you may find rock pooling go deeper in the ocean therefore meaning you can't find them at low tide, or they migrate somewhere warmer

Hi Duty and D Devries, for many years I kept a large native marine aquarium featuring most of the fish and organisms I find in the videos,it's one of the reasons I studied their habitat and behaviour . In my experience the Tompot blennies would eat the sea anemones in the tank .I am considering setting up a very large aquarium again ,with a view to making videos on finding the fish and other organisms and perhaps a RUclips live stream, regards Craig.
