How lucky James is having a dad who knows it all about the sea and shore line and he has a mum who can show him how to cook everything, nice to see Mrs fish locker getting stuck in i always feel hungry after watching her cook things lol and i have just had my evening meal; James cracked me up with his lazy garlic and so nice yummy he's a star in the making god bless you all.

People are so judgemental. If they would pay attention they would see you wife is giving information that could save them from being very ill. I didn't know that if you cook the mussels and they don't open, they are bad! The way she speaks is so relaxing to me. Thank you for your appreciation to my comments. Thank You for reminding me what it is like to enjoy the fresh food on the beach. I used to live in the north of California USA and back then (40 years ago) I used to do very much the same thing that you show right here. Anyone that is watching this series I can tell you from personal experience that this is not a staged video, what you see is exactly what you will find! I moved to the southern United States (Florida on the Gulf Coast) and kind of (for lack of a better word) out grew the hunting. Thank You again for reminding me what it is like to beach hunt. We have such lovely beaches here on the Gulf Coast away for the tourists, I guess you could say that you re-awoke me and now I have decided it is time to quit paying for some "farm" to raise this food and go back out and enjoy the beaches and the FREE MEALS that the seas provide us every day. Thank You once again for opening my eyes to what I out grew and missed, Have a GREAT 2020 and keep sharing your videos with the world.

I like how you explain everything I stumbled apron your channel randomly and I love it! I did not know you could find so many different things in seaweed. I actually would want to do this but I feel like i would get pinched by a crab or lobster. I like how your family all contributes to the cooking, everything looks good when you guys cook it! I can't get enough of the coastal foraging I did it as a kid growing up on Canvey Island with winkle sandwiches a Sunday treat if we had company down from London, also eating raw rock oysters while fishing the Thames estuary, good to see the young lad getting involved too teach them these basic skills they will survive anywhere, great show 👍
These videos really make me want to go coastal foraging myself! Unfortunately, I don't think the beaches around where I live have much shellfish. But it looks really fun, and these videos are really relaxing and informative! I'm really glad I stumbled upon your videos. I love how your wife and son are involved too! Absolutely incredible the amount of sea life you have on your shore! I've never seen anything like it. A perfect outing for the fam... a walk on the beach and a bit of a fresh meal.
- Where is your local shore Jamie. The area around here is a really fertile area due to I believe a conscientious local population. The litter is quickly picked up and any foraging is sustainable. We are very fortunate. :)

I love it how I'd be walking along this same stretch of beach thinking 'Seaweed, seaweed, shells, seaweed'. Meanwhile, during my stroll, you'd be finding enough seafood to give a good cook-up for your family! It's heartwarming to watch your conservation in these videos also, putting back and leaving the smaller crabs, etc.
Love the videos, I get to live vicariously through them. I've always wanted to forge for food, especially shellfish but I don't live anywhere near the dea or any body of water (I live in a desert). Hope you and your family are able to go out soon enough.

SO.....I live in the High Plains of New Mexico USA, which is just as dry and landlocked as it sounds like. but I was born in England and I told my husband that someday I would take him to the shore to do just this.

Hi. Watching u doing all this staf remembers my dear brother and how much we enjoy to go fishing, exploring and be in the wilderness just our self. I had him like for a year and something here in u.k., offered him as best I could fishing experiences and when I go back home in Romania we just go fishing at least for coupple days away from civilization. He constructed a boat now and cannot wait to go home and go fishing on the boat.Every time I watch u on that boat I hv that brother and sis bond feeling, so special and unbreakble. We are itching to get back on the shore foraging. Sadly at this time of year the weather and often the water quality means its not safe or possible. Last week for example I could have gone, but it was raining almost horizontally 🤣
years ago my grandad would cook up a big pot of winkles and we would sit there on a saturday watching grandstand picking them out with a pin ,used to love all the fresh shellfish back in the day!

I can't get enough of the coastal foraging I did it as a kid growing up on Canvey Island with winkle sandwiches a Sunday treat if we had company down from London, also eating raw rock oysters while fishing the Thames estuary, good to see the young lad getting involved too teach them these basic skills they will survive anywhere, great show 👍

- Where is your local shore Jamie. The area around here is a really fertile area due to I believe a conscientious local population. The litter is quickly picked up and any foraging is sustainable. We are very fortunate. :)

Stunning family and fish knowledge on par with any marine biologist I know of! I’m quite fond of these cook ups and eat at the ends do please continue making them. Love the videos, I get to live vicariously through them. I've always wanted to forge for food, especially shellfish but I don't live anywhere near the dea or any body of water (I live in a desert).

SO.....I live in the High Plains of New Mexico USA, which is just as dry and landlocked as it sounds like. but I was born in England and I told my husband that someday I would take him to the shore to do just this.

Hi. Watching u doing all this staf remembers my dear brother and how much we enjoy to go fishing, exploring and be in the wilderness just our self. I had him like for a year and something here in u.k., offered him as best I could fishing experiences and when I go back home in Romania we just go fishing at least for coupple days away from civilization. He constructed a boat now and cannot wait to go home and go fishing on the boat.Every time I watch u on that boat I hv that brother and sis bond feeling, so special and unbreakble. What a wonderful upbringing for your little lad. I forage with my 9year old daughter but we are inlanders, the closest i get to shellfish is red signal crayfish. Peace out man

I love your foraging videos so much I don't care how far back I have to go to watch them
We are itching to get back on the shore foraging. Sadly at this time of year the weather and often the water quality means its not safe or possible. Last week for example I could have gone, but it was raining almost horizontally 🤣

years ago my grandad would cook up a big pot of winkles and we would sit there on a saturday watching grandstand picking them out with a pin ,used to love all the fresh shellfish back in the day!
