No More Peeling Paint

We take a look at a very common problem with Chevy Express vans. You guessed it peeling paint!
It took some effort and few days but we got it done.

GM should either pay for repaint or write owners a check. Was there ever a Class Action Lawsuit against GM?

They probably figured that by the time the paint really starts peeling badly, the vehicle (frame) would have rusted out (GM) and in the crusher it goes. BTW, I still have a '99 Savana Cargo that I drive very little (50k miles), it was peeling many years ago. I figure the only thing that might work is to take it down to bare metal..acid wash and start from scratch.

My van is doing the same thing. After all the scraping I did, I turned my air hose loose on it and blew off 3 times more loose paint then before. I have primed her up and fixing all the little rust spots.

I know the feeling. Unfortunately they did not use the best materials.

What's the costs of this? I mean I have a 2007 with 119K miles on it, a few dents and dings, I mean is it worth the costs to do this?

Besides the drivetrain the quality on these is pretty poor pretty soon the rockers,hood and quarter panel will start rotting out

I did the same process but I went over with epoxy and now my edges are lifting where the Og primer and paint meet, any help?
