Looks a great event. Wonderful team effort to get round. I was on the Lakes Traverse that weekend, so can fully appreciate the conditions! Well done to all.
I'd say this was up there with some of the hardest runs I've done! My map reading ain't the best and the weather was horrific, esp for the time of year! The joys of the Scottish weather!!
I guess that was the only bonus... We were travelling pretty light. Think fully loaded with water, fuel, spare layers, my pack wouldn't be anything more than 7 kg!
I can't help but smile when I watch these vlogs you produce mate! Very entertaining and relatable. But terrifying at the same time haha. Well done to you and the team. What an epic adventure.
Cheers mate! For the first time in quite a long time I was out my comfort zone, navigational skills need worked on.... Or just stick to races I can follow my watch 😂
I use a Garmin Fenix 6X. Battery life brilliant! Although I wasn't using maps on this run, I just finished an ultra at the weekend, had maps running the whole time and still had 60% battery after 12 hours!
Looks amazing. Well done team.
Thank you! It really was a team effort. Without those guys I'd still be up there now!! 😂

This looked pretty brutal paul. Remember my first fandance carrying 45lbs in that westher up brecon beacons. Nice one 👍🏼

Ooft mate. What a challenge that was, from navigation to the ascent to the horrendous weather. Superb 👏👏
Ah cheers man! Yeah navigation ain't my strong point! Bit used to just following the line on the watch!! 😂 You got any more big runs this year?
Nothing huge mate. GB Ultra Scotland 50 in a few days then Cowshed Backyard in September. Small matter of the Euros sandwiched in between 😄
What a cool idea.
Reminds me of the orientation-runs in military.
Yeah it really puts navigational skills to the test! Or in my case, highlights just how bad my navigational skills are!! 😂
Hi can I ask please what watch you use just watched your Campsie fell video
