I moved from Nowra NSW to SA in 2018 and it made me feel very nostalgic and sad to see how much has changed without my parents driving me on those roads frequently.

This looks like it took a lot of time, well done! Also, the music fits well with the drive. Keep it up :D

Thanks mate, sure will! Sometimes I try to find the best music for the nature of the drive but royalty free music is limited...

Thanks mate! Certainly an enjoyable route with the rolling hills and sometimes the Illawarra Escarpment in the distance. Might also be less stressful to drive on once the bypass opens lol!

Great video mate! It never made much sense to me why they didn't sign the stretch of road between Kiama and Albion Park as part of the M1 Princes Motorway when its built to motorway standards, and even Mount Ousley Road is considered to be part of the M1 nowadays. It'll be interesting to see if that changes when the Albion Park Bypass opens.

Thanks mate! I think the situation is similar with how the M31 is named Hume Highway not Motorway past Berrima and how there are at grade intersections. There are a few exits that are just left turns or slip lanes into a small street on the stretch you mentioned, like Gipps Street and Hutchinson Street, as well as that random rest area.

The traffic is always like that in Albion Park Rail. Was even like that when I grew up there in the 90's

Must have missed this comment, apologies; that's interesting but not surprising. Going south for a getaway was probably as popular as now.
