Oh, the colours yarn you selected are just lovely (lavender, unicorn, turcoise, blue, ecru, yellow, gray ...) I look forward to see the finished objects and the designs you decide on!

Loved the podcast and all the colours from your stash! I cannot imagine not seeing the sun every day, 😂

Thank you! It feels good to be slowly working through it :) It's so rough to not have sunlight - I'm so happy that it's finally come back up and we're seeing more and more of it everyday. Soon enough we'll have 24-hour sunlight

@@TheStrikkechick 🌞🌞🌞😎😎😎 that sounds și badass but again, I cannot imagine 24h sun, you must be used to it already but it's fascinating to hear about it :)

I recently finished a blanket sized shawl named Hierath Shawl from 52 Weeks of Shawls book by Laine Publishing, and I use DROPS Lima (Alpaca and Wool, actually). I reaaalllyyy love the weight of the finished product, and it’s very warm for Estonian weather 😂 I hope it’s also warm enough for Tromsø’s weather. And it’s true, Alpaca-based yarn does bloom a lot!
P.S: I love your DROPS Air in the Blue bird colourway. Think of bought them too for a Spring sweater! Thanks for your inspiration. ❤

Ooohh I'll definitely check out that pattern! And I'm excited to see what you make with the Drops Air! :)

I love your collection! Regarding the ruined Beanie, you can definitely dye it in your fave color and then try to re-purpose the yarn if the Beanie is still too big, I think the smoke-discolorations will fade easily under some purple tones :)

Thank you! I have to unravel the hat and see if enough of the yarn is salvageable (at one point I picked it apart and sewed the seam further "inward" because the hat was too big and I think I did it in a super slapdash way. A deep purple would be lovely though!

Peruvian is at the top of my list for yarns to try in 2023! I've heard such great things about it

Amazing stash! I have quite the stash too but some of it is really old. I inherited some wool yarn and I need to make a plan for that too. Currently, I have plans for 2 sweaters (both Linka Neumann) 1 cardigan (Nordkapp kofte). I have one sweater that I really want to finish that I started 20 years ago, I forgot about it and just found it. 😂 I think I’d like to use some of my alpaca for a striped shawl/scarf but I need to find a pattern. Also I have some jellybean green mohair too. I need a pattern for that. So much to knit but still have a pair of mittens to finish before Christmas. Thanks for the fun podcast! 😊❤

I"m knitting the Hopi sweater now! Is that one of your two Linka Neumann sweaters? And it's so cool that you have jellybean green in your stash too! So many more people are knitting with it/wearing it recently and it makes me happy. Are you planning on making a sweater with it?

I recommend The Calluna Shawl for your lilac alpaca. It’s a free pattern by The Lamb and Kid

Oooh that looks gorgeous! And I love the way the model is wearing it as a scarf so you can see what that looks like ☺

Could you frog the white hat and dye the yarn a darker colour? I would save it to practice dyeing if you ever want to get into that.

I could try, since it is superwash yarn so it'd be good for that. I'm just afraid because I've tried to "Frankenstein" it to fit there are so many odds and ends and not enough salvageable pieces of yarn
