Thank you so much for this video, you have helped me immensely, been looking to see if the Kohakutou could be made with molds, you're the best, thank you
i have a question,if the jellies are a bit sticky and still wet after i took them out (i left them overnight and made them out of sprite and fanta) should i keep it longer in the fridge?
Kohakutou crystallizes best at room temperature. If you have a rack to dry them on, and a lid or cotton to cover it to keep bugs away, they should be Crunchy in 24/48 hours, and extra Crunchy after 4-5 days ❤
@@lynnlillard yes 7 g should be fine but please make sure to use the right kind of agar 2 as shown here: www.instacart.com/products/244656-telephone-brand-agar-agar-powder-0-88-oz I used a similar brand with a trophy on the package. I think both are pure/concentrated/no sugar mixed in.
I got it from Etsy! The product has been discontinued, but this is a similar item: www.etsy.com/ca/listing/731271618/sailor-moon-magic-wand-silicone?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=sailormoon+silicone+mold&ref=sr_gallery-1-2&pro=1&frs=1&content_source=8200c47a37c72657322e6930985975f8681a7df7%253A731271618&search_preloaded_img=1&organic_search_click=1
Thanks! Shelf life I would say is about 4 weeks? I forgot that I had some left over and they sat in an airtight container for about three months -- they were still good but started losing their jelly consistency

Cam I use agar agar powder that I got from amazon or does it have to be a specific one?
Does it have a telephone or a trophy on the package?
Looks yummy!
Thank you 😋
awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks!
Where did u dry them? Outside in the sun or indoors?
Just inside -- they will dry without any application of heat. Hope this helps!
Do you have a link to the lotus flower mold?

@@dirtyicecream you are appreciate greatly! 🙏🏽
What would the shelf life of these be? Great video keep up the good work bud

@@dirtyicecream thank you bud I'll be trying this out at the weekend
does the soda have to be "flat" or right out the bottle.
Hi there, the soda doesn't need to be flat, but boiling it probably knocked all of the air out
If I used freshly squeezed juice do you think it would last okay? Like lychee juice or coconut water, fresh chrysanthemum juice?
That would work too! Great 💡!
What sugar do you use? Is it caster or granulated?
Just regular old granulated sugar - but caster will probably work too!
