unfortunately most candies have a ton of sugar in them, it's what they are based on XDD also, i did find it a little on the too sweet side so i did a little hack. i used lemon salt, a very tiny bit and mixed it with the sugar, so now i get this small, lemony zing when i eat them owo
I think its a pre recording of a chewing sound when they eat it. I've notice on some of there videos they make the same crunchy sound even when they are eatting soft foods.
i tried this recipe yesterday and suffice to say people loved it. it turned out awesome! i used raspberry syrup and it's so tasty, slightly hard on the outside and chewy on the inside we were all surprised xD thanks!
@@xmaqueo3137 not at all, in fact it was my very first time doing any sort of candy. as long as you follow the recipe step by step and prep everything it's quite easy. i would say have a timer on the simmering parts, because if you over simmer it becomes hard candy. ALSO oil everything!! if your moulds are not oiled well it's gonna be very hard to take it out, i learned it the hard way XDD good luck

Depending on where ones lives in sure one can buy some,@@dessilou9738. I've made my own. A few sprigs of fresh lavender in a jar of sugar (1/2 dl flowers for 3 do of caster sugar). For lemon sugar I just put lemon zest with sugar and finished it off with some citric acid, can't remember amounts though (myre lemons if one can get them).
m _erxsa Yes, though i usually double check w/ the instructions on the kanten packaging for measurement details, but otherwise it's very easy to make. Extremely rewarding treat for the small amount of work that goes into it :)

in Malaysia we call this 'lengkong kering', normally served during festive day like eid. it's a traditional snack. we use natural flavour and scent like pandan leaf. but we didn't coated it with sugar cause they will appear on the surface after few days dried in open space. very crispy but too sweet for my taste. one tips if you wanna make a dry version, use lots of food coloring, cause they will faded after dried completely.
