+Mel Zemourit I went for the platinums for all three of the games, so I had to play on crushing difficulty. There's always one point that seems so unfair
After playing Uncharted 1 on hard, I realized it's not as hard as The Last of Us so I played 2 and 3 on crushing on my first play through. Still wasn't too hard, but the part mentioned in this video was pretty hard.
2 days before 2023 and I decided to go back and rewatch one of the few series on RUclips that I looked forward to weekly. The nostalgia...still love these
Welcome to the Robert Pearson Fan Club. Please pick up your badger puppet, Dr. Pepper, and Metal Gear references on the lobby. Our first meeting will begin after watching all the cutscenes. Today's topic: favorite RPGs.
Or just R1. You don't have to press R1 and X like in the original. Want an added challenge? Beat the sewer escape WITHOUT the heli-pack. On the hardest difficulty.
You're not the only one. When I was a kid the one mission I died over and over again was going to Haven Forest and killing all the Combat Metalheads that have camouflage
Same! And there was also the encounter against the big guy on the ship with the shipping containers that would slide back and forth. Strangely, I remember that part being so difficult I almost wanted to give up completely when I played it on the PS3, but I found it super easy on the PS4 remaster. I wonder if they nerfed it...
In the original Ratchet & Clank on PS2, I used to have trouble with that sewer section when I was younger. I find it easy now. That water slums section in Jak 2 with the Krimzon Guards is downright sadistic. That one section puts me off replaying the game often.
+Darkstar263 Its much easier when you realize the guards die in three shots of the machine gun, and if you have the skill to use the board. (note, you can smack right through the guards with it by spinning into them)
I ended up escaping on the jetboard as well, after probably ten or so deaths. The guards spawn predictably, after enough trial and error, one can discern the right pattern.
lmao those damn slums pissed me off...until I realized that the Needle Lazer is a 2 hit kill on the guards. I'll still screw up cause I tend not to play safe lol
yeah I just saved the dark slam ability until it started, then I just slammed the water right away to kill the instakill robot and you could swim or hover board to the end
I think we had the same driving instructor. I still remember the look the examiner gave me when he told me I had passed and I asked if he had forgotten the handbrake turn.
I remember the first game was the only one that didn't have captain Quark used as mostly comic relief and now I'm not sure how I feel about his change in character
I loved Jak 2 on PS2 so I got it again on the Vita and the only way I could beat that section in the Water Slums was by Hover boarding past all the K guards
O_0 you can do that it sounds almost as hard as fighting your way through was (I had to keep replaying it sometimes because I didn't have enough ammo to make it)
Ha! Didn't know you could do that! still got through the Water Slums but it took ages! still one of my favourite childhood games. Along side the Ratchet and Clank series!
i made a tactive staff from side to side so diagonal using the quick bash with the gun and use the blast gun whenever i got to close to the enemy and just kept doing that until the end. Fun thing was it became really easy.
Final Fantasy Tactics back on the PS1 has the save-ending notoriety of Riovanes Castle. It opens up innocently enough, with a modestly difficult fight against enemies with height advantage. As is the case in all series fights in the game, it asks if you want to save after this fight, but before the next one. Woe unto they who didn't make a second save file, for it proceeds to throw the main character, Ramza, in to a 1-on-1 showdown with recurring enemy Wiegraf. He's fully kitted in higher-tier gear than you can get, boasts 2 hideously powerful moves that can be used half the map away, which can each 2-shot an unprepared player (and a third more reasonably powerful move that can be used from 1/3 the map away), and he has the stats to back it up. Players that haven't built Ramza specifically for this fight are in for a lot of frustration, especially if their only save slot is riding on getting through it. Other fights allow some amount of wiggle-room, as if any character goes down you can still raise them or finish the fight before they're gone for good. With no backup available, if Ramza goes down, Game Over. If you manage to get through that fight, breathe a sigh of relief. Two fights is all you've seen in series fights so far, time to see a cutscene, get back to the world map, go shopping, and wait why's there another save prompt? Time for fight number three! The boss gets back up, transforms, summons minions, and the rest of your party arrives just in time to get pounded into the dirt by the boss's powerful AoE summon magic backed by his minions' powerful AoE magic. After getting through with that particular bit of horror, it's time to be relieved at the sight of YET ANOTHER save prompt COME ON! The fourth (and thankfully final) fight in the series is there to remind you that the game can still be straight up unfair. Your party starts an unfortunately large distance away from the real action, and is tasked with protecting an AI controlled character. She goes down, Game Over. She is accosted by a major boss and his 2 assassin minions, each able to more-or-less one-shot the character you need to protect. Also worth pointing out, both she and these enemies tend to be faster than the units you're likely able to field, and her idea of a good time is getting within stabbing range of the incredibly dangerous enemies so she can poke them with her hilariously ineffective stick. Good luck with that, buddy. This series of fights is NOTORIOUS for ending save files.
Human resource machine. The last levels. My favorites were: "Oh, you don't remember how to properly divide? *You can still factorize these numbers.*" and "You know about sorting techniques right? *Sort the numbers in ascending order.*" *IN ASSEMBLY*
I remember the torture at the rotating towers in Gοd of war and the agony for Uncharted 3 crushing mode.Especially when Uncharted was crushing all the time on the ps3 and had to restart. :)
Rob, I have to say, I usually start most games on easy. Especially in a new system or if it's something I've not tried before. Eventually, I want the challenge. I always enjoy your videos and greatly appreciate your humor and gritty honesty of the entire team. Thank you! Keep it up, good sir!
Oml Birth By Sleep was the first really good game I played back in like 4th grade and I still have no clue how kid me beat the Vanitas Remnant cuz I haven't been able to do it in Final Mix XD
Oh god. I remember stumbling across The Phantom completely by accident while trying to see what items were available at the Clock Tower... I still haven't beaten it, tbh. And sadly I lost the disc for the PS2 original, so I'll never beat it on that one...
I would strongly advise you to go back and try again, and possibly again. Seriously though, keep at it, because as infuriating as it can be, the payoff is worth it.
+GamingMedley Thank you i almost Rage Quit Dark Souls 1 after dying to Smough and Ornstein for 6 hours I played Offline and didnt know that i could Summon Knight Solaire The Nameless King in Dark Souls 3 has almost the same Moveset as Ornstein would you agree ?
That level in Jak 2 was... so... damn... hard! I couldn't complete it conventionally, but I did find a way to get passed it, a very long and arduous way. I started the game from the beginning, and made sure I had a full bar of dark eco, so I smash in to the water and not die.
Kingdom hearts bosses? Um... A lot of people say young xehanort from ddd. A lot of people say xaldin. Hell, some people even think marluxia from chain of memories is hard. I am one of those people.
+PlayStation Access Everybody on the internet completes the hardest games first time through with ease with their hands behind their back, just using the controller with their overbite.
I believe Ys 7 was the first game I really got caught like that. Backup characters still gain XP, not as much, but they do. It's just switching to characters you never use and control differently with different abilities that's a kick in the teeth. Or relying on a main character who is suddenly incapacitated or.. suddenly the person you have to fight. I tended to play to advance the story every other day, then spend an hour grinding one party, switching in Aerith and Yuffie (before Red took Aerith's spot), and spend another hour grinding. It was a LONG game to beat that way, but I never got caught unprepared. I guess I always imagined Cloud (or others) could get separated like the beginning of the game..
+mikael leheckenbooger i used cheats for Vice City but during that mission, there are no cheats that help you. it's pretty much based entirely on skill.
That train mission was easy, can be done in 1-3 tries, but the hard part of the damn game was the Zero RC missions. The large planes in the older GTA games were damn near impossible to fly smoothly, but the little RC ones were ten times worse. If there were no fuel meter, it would be doable, but the combination of ridiculous controls and having to fly a perfect route to win was just another level of fuckery.
I was gonna make a joke about Dark Souls as a whole being the difficulty spike, and then I was like "Nah, I'll watch to the end of the video just in case." Damn it.
Blighttown wasn't as much of a difficulty curve than an annoying level. Unless you have High Poison Resist and Grabbed the Ring from the Asylum, ya gonna get poisoned
Lol right? But what he means is it never goes from one level to an extreme in quick succession without build up. It's generally challenging from start to finish in Dark Souls. Whereas in many of these games, like Ratchet & Clank for instance, you can feel like the game is cake and suddenly difficulty jumps up a notch. Feel me?
My biggest problem in FF7 was the fight against Hojo because I was extremely underleveled (I hated grinding in FF7), but I made it! I was so relieved afterwards. I'm still wondering how I got that far considering I barely leveled up my characters and almost never used summons or protectiond like Protes and such. xD
Because it makes too much sense to have Kratos not to suffer through the tedious climb. I already thought the entirety of Hades was Hard as a whole. The pillar climb just didn't help.
MediumBibkie914 Me, kind of. I plan on getting a PS4 eventually (broke atm) and I own a PS2 but it's at my mother's which is an 11 hour drive away. So as a mostly Xbox Player I watch these videos all the time but I do technically own a Play Station and plan on getting another one.
Regret my choice of buying xbox watching these... PlayStation 1/2 was my childhood and to find out that you can play so many of these games on ps4.... uhh regret
THAT’S A RELIEF. Coincidentally, I just finished playing Uncharted 3 today and was left completely disappointed with myself for having SUCH A HARD TIME even though the game was on easy mode. Seriously, I can't listen to guns being fired on games for a few days now. The noise got stuck in my head and gave me such a headache. But I digress. As this video started and I found out about ”difficulty spikes” I thought: ok, that MUST be an explanation for Uncharted 3 and ta-da: you guys added it to the list! Also agree with Ni no Kuni... I haven't played these others. Love your work guys and Rob, I'm such a fan!
Yeah, that is one of the hardest bosses. Persevere, guard and counter a lot, and load up on elixirs/ethers for Cure and you will be fine. Dream Drop Distance has a difficulty spike literally after the tutorial that still gets me.
+JDMCrave Fight against Roxas in Kingdom Hearts 2 final mix..... why did they put this fight even there? DidnÄt made much sense for me, Roxas allready excepted to return to Sora...
as a person going through Jak 2 completely for the first time (since I rage quit when I was younger) I can completely confirm that those two parts still made me get stuck for at least a half hour each(the tank for an hour)
+Jdurr94: The Gamer That's OK, you're welcome. I like his "The Wonders Of The Universe", where he uses rocks and other items to represent planets and/or stars. Sadly, I don't watch TV anymore :(
It's always the turret mini-game sections in the Jak games for me. Jak 1 - Shooting the swamp rat lurkers in Boggy Swamp (WAY harder than the fishing mini-game) Jak 2 - Shooting the Krimson Guard jetpack guys and the battleship at the Drill Platform Jak 3 - Defending Spargus from the War of the Worlds-esque mech things near the end of the game.
Jak 3 where you had to drive behind 8 dune buggys and destroy them before one of them enters their base. It was freaking awefull. I literally punched a hole in my wall. This was very difficult to explain to my parents
Moron, that is kinda part of gamers by now xD. It's like a pokemon fan saying gotta instead of got to. People know how it should be, they just use it to sound funny or have fun.
I loved the water run because of the amount of time it took me in the original and brought back memories. Not too mention ratchet and clank is 1 of the 3 platinums I have :)
Oh my god that pissed me off so much I quit the game for like a month, killed me maybe 6 times. Then I started playing again, prepared a lot more, beat him on my first try coming back. It was glorious
Julian Webb Same here, I tried around a dozen times then I gave up. I came back to it after I beat Dark Souls 3 and beat him after my second attempt. It was actually far more difficult than the final boss of the main story and I think that caught a lot of us off guard. Even the time I actually beat him it took me a good 20+ minutes
The look on Drake's face at 4:13 is a pretty accurate depection of the topic here. The grenade can be substituted for a controller for additional effect.
ToastAndJellyfish Well I suppose that it's always impossible for me to get the best stuff in the game since it cost al least over 70 gold or sovereigns no matter how many side quests I played out it doesn't make me enough to get over 100 gold or even 60 gold. I have Origins on PS3 so I'm not as lucky as pc race.
Fairycancel Alright fine I guess Dragon age origins isn't that hard I've just always had trouble making large amount of money in the damn game. So thanks for the tip.
Playing uncharted 3 on hard almost convinced me I'm color blind as I only saw back and white.....
Hah! I know that feeling!😭
+Mel Zemourit I went for the platinums for all three of the games, so I had to play on crushing difficulty. There's always one point that seems so unfair
same here mate i thought i broke my tv
+Aryaman Gupta Completing them all on the Crushing for the plat was one of the most horrific experiences, ever.
The nostalgia...still love these
Wow, this guy's funny. Gonna go watch all his videos now.
+Issac KeepsCalmAndWins (Keepcalmandwin1) Yeah i reckon he's the funniest videogame journo ever
+Richard Gill na thats
the gamer2323 then Rob Pearson than Pewdiepie
TwTi agreed!

The tutorial in Driver was one for me as well. It drove me mad.
Asher Riley Was that pun intended? If so, *ba dum tssss*
Driver was insane. I remember changing the game in the editor just to get rid of it, whenever I wanted to quickly start a new game...
I have ever only tried the tutorial in Driver. Once. Didnt make it through... Never picked it up again.
I never I never made it out of the tutorial and driver
7:58
Game: "Slalom!"
Me: "but what does that mean?"
Game: "I SAID SLALOM!!"
Me: "I don't know what you want from me!"
Game: "SLALOOOOOOOM!!!!"
FFS! DO A SLALOM!
THE GAME SAID DO A FLIPPIN' SLALOM!
If you don't know what a slalom is you shouldn't play the series. Apart from the last Driver game, that one's better
5:10
Never underestimate the power of running away like a wuss, for those who master it are effectively untouchable
If people are stuck on the ratchet and clank sewer thing, just run and jump with R1 and X. It should be a breeze then
In the demo too? I remember it being impossible in the the demo.
Regulus Black it isn't impossible, it was way harder in the original game.
It's only difficult on hard, it's a breeze on normal.
Or just R1. You don't have to press R1 and X like in the original.
Want an added challenge? Beat the sewer escape WITHOUT the heli-pack. On the hardest difficulty.
i didn't even notice it being difficult, i think i finished it in my first go.
Jak 2 was the first game I played. And I took like 2 years to complete it.
Yeah its damn hard
You're not the only one. When I was a kid the one mission I died over and over again was going to Haven Forest and killing all the Combat Metalheads that have camouflage
2 years lol, but yes Frustrating, I threw the disc on the wall... But, beat it lol.
2 years ?!??!
I know some missions were hard, but not that hard
The Uncharted 3 Graveyard Sequence kept me on my PS3 for HOURS!!! At least there's someone who also feels my pain
Same! And there was also the encounter against the big guy on the ship with the shipping containers that would slide back and forth. Strangely, I remember that part being so difficult I almost wanted to give up completely when I played it on the PS3, but I found it super easy on the PS4 remaster. I wonder if they nerfed it...
+Proc of the Dawn *nerfed, not "needed"
I remember doing it in the hardest difficulty for the platinum. Oh, how i suffered
I physically broke the game at this point. I didnt care about the story anyway, so I never looked back.
Julian Maguire Same
The king of difficulty spikes - "All you had to do was follow the damn train CJ"
Currently dying in laughter! 😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝
+Gameviewnation Gaming it's true though, if somebody hasn't already commented with this then i am very surprised
Supply lines was a nightmare as well, though i guess that was technically optional. But I don't play rockstar games to not do all the side quests.
*Laughs in jetpack*
I didn't think the Jack and Dexter was hard I shot my way through after seeing they kept respawning
lmao those damn slums pissed me off...until I realized that the Needle Lazer is a 2 hit kill on the guards.
I'd forgotten about the Driver tutorial, Rob. Bloody hated that bit.
That bit with them two in a “car” made me laugh for far too long lol
I guess you could say the god of war one is a... DIFFICULTY SPIKE! I'll leave now
Wow, you put a skele-ton of work into that joke ;)
+EmothicalJohno Well, no bones about the lameness of that pun.
***** Dead on arrival, really.
The difficulty litteraly went up
To be honest, once you've played the game enough times the column of death, just isnt hard.
Who else played the original rachet and clank?
ME! I restarted and won the game like 10+ times when i was a kid (loved Ratchet and Clank 2 even more so that One i probably won like 20+ times lol)
Yes; I found it easy and great! I may have bad memory though
Samuel Karnbo, oh yeah yeah ratchet and clank was really great
I remember the first game was the only one that didn't have captain Quark used as mostly comic relief and now I'm not sure how I feel about his change in character
Its fun to watch people suffer at the Rising Water, if you are one of those who survived it in the Original XD
I loved Jak 2 on PS2 so I got it again on the Vita and the only way I could beat that section in the Water Slums was by Hover boarding past all the K guards
O_0 you can do that it sounds almost as hard as fighting your way through was (I had to keep replaying it sometimes because I didn't have enough ammo to make it)
Ninjamaster255 that's the trick lol
I was able to bully my way through the crimson guards, but only after I had Dark Jak available. Even then, I still died a good dozen or so times.
I dont know how many times I restarted the "Tutorial" of Driver.... the next levels were so easy after the "Tutorial"

"If at first you don't succeed, turn the difficulty down!"
Now my motto as well
In Kingdom Hearts when (and if) you randomly stumble on the secret bosses. Dear GOD they are brutal compared to the rest of the game.
You can now add Pitioss dungeons from FFXV... it destroyed many innocent people's lives! I almost died in the real life but still - Pitioss rulez :)
The Meat Circus level from Psychonauts always made me break my controller in half.
Have stopped playing Psychonauts, one of my favorite games of all time, three times because of that level. CANNOT get past it for the life of me
I would strongly advise you to go back and try again, and possibly again. Seriously though, keep at it, because as infuriating as it can be, the payoff is worth it.
DID I SEE A BREATH OF FIRE IN THERE?! O_O YOU ARE LITERALLY THE FIRST ONE BESIDES ME THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN EVEN KNOWING ABOUT THIS GAME
+Varileztra Dragonmaw Breath of Fire IV! One of my favourite PS1 RPGs :) -Rob
+PlayStation Access You sir, just gained a sub. Replayed it not to long ago. Will do again. And again. And again.
+PlayStation Access I completed that swimming sewer escape in one try on normal.
+PlayStation Access I have to say I prefer bof3, can't beat making your own transformations
i loved Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter :D but the other ones of the franchise were so different that i didint even try them
The sewer lever was harder on the original Ratchet and Clank
To true in the remake I did it in one try
In the original took me about 3 or 4 tries to ccomplete
Yes bc we didnt have the hydropack yet
It was much harder ...on the original
TELL ME ORNSTEIN AND SMOUGH ISN'T A DIFFICULTY SPIKE ONE MORE TIME ROB! SAY IT ONE MORE F*CKING TIME!
+GamingMedley ORNSTEIN AND SMOUGH ISN'T A DIFFICULTY SPIKE (jumps out window, cackling madly) -Rob
+PlayStation Access Rob That's golden XD
+PlayStation Access The Four Kings however...
+GamingMedley
Thank you i almost Rage Quit Dark Souls 1 after dying to Smough and Ornstein for 6 hours
I played Offline and didnt know that i could Summon Knight Solaire
The Nameless King in Dark Souls 3 has almost the same Moveset as Ornstein would you agree ?
+GamingMedley Summon Solaire and it becomes manageable.
That level in Jak 2 was... so... damn... hard! I couldn't complete it conventionally, but I did find a way to get passed it, a very long and arduous way. I started the game from the beginning, and made sure I had a full bar of dark eco, so I smash in to the water and not die.
I choked on my drink when I heard Rob say, "Give me a like so I can feed my family"... that was a like well earned my friend, Well done...well done.
Have the platinum on ratchet and clanck, was a really great game!
This is one of my favorite episode in Friday Features, you guys should make another another list of this...
For some reason I was expecting Xaldin from Kingdom Hearts 2 to appear on this list; well Xaldin or Xigbar, but more so Xaldin
If we're talking Kingdom Hearts, my first guess would have Demyx. "Dance, water, dance!" Oh just shut up, you...
+Senjuina Müller That was difficult for me at first, but became much less difficult when I remembered that I had Limits and Drive Forms to use
+AsbelLhant100 Funny, using the Drive Forms usually killed me much faster - especially since Anti-Form would appear instead almost every time.
+Senjuina Müller Well I'd always use Valor Form against Demyx and never went into Anti-Form in that fight
Kingdom hearts bosses? Um... A lot of people say young xehanort from ddd. A lot of people say xaldin. Hell, some people even think marluxia from chain of memories is hard. I am one of those people.
Well Rob... Escape the Sewer, that you found it difficult is just hilarious. In my first sitting I finished it with ease... And with time to spare.
You're awesome! -Rob
And now I feel special :D
+Bob Anderson I think they are just trying to sell the game
+Bob Anderson yeah me too
+PlayStation Access Everybody on the internet completes the hardest games first time through with ease with their hands behind their back, just using the controller with their overbite.

The plural of nemesis is nemeses. Look it up if you don't believe me :)
+flesjemelk perhaps I was messing around?
I actually did that Jak 2 waterway level by hoverboarding. Felt like a hoverboarding badass too.
all you had to do was follow the damn train CJ
im sure weve all heard that line 100 times.
I remember being the Limo driver for Love Fist in Vice City...that mission have me hell.
+Morvicks I'll never understand how people beat any gta game without cheats.
+mikael leheckenbooger i used cheats for Vice City but during that mission, there are no cheats that help you. it's pretty much based entirely on skill.

The jump in difficulty from one level to another in the Guitar Hero & Rock Band series is rather insane
Is that Professor Brian Cox?
Yessssirrr!!!
That Brian Cox impression was pretty on point
Roxas from Kingdom Hearts 2 because he’s the first boss where mashing X and healing occasionally wasn’t a viable strategy.
😃 That Driver skit is the BEST you guys have ever done!
The whole "he's 13" convo had me laughing lol
Oh my god that mission in Jak II INFURIATED me!!
I was gonna make a joke about Dark Souls as a whole being the difficulty spike, and then I was like "Nah, I'll watch to the end of the video just in case."
Damn it.
If you replace the bonfire system with a menu based save system, the game would lose all dufficulty, so not really a difficulty spike.
LOL Your videos are getting better and better! Awesome!
"Dark Souls doesn't have difficulty spikes"
*coughBlighttowncoughcoughSensFortresscoughhackcoughThatOneSectionInAnorLondoThatIDon'tEvenNeedToExplainBecauseEveryoneWhosGottenToThatPointKnowsExactlyWhatI'mTalkingAboutWHEEEEEEEEEZEcough*
you, sir, are right
Pfft, what a casual
Blighttown wasn't as much of a difficulty curve than an annoying level. Unless you have High Poison Resist and Grabbed the Ring from the Asylum, ya gonna get poisoned
Lol right? But what he means is it never goes from one level to an extreme in quick succession without build up. It's generally challenging from start to finish in Dark Souls. Whereas in many of these games, like Ratchet & Clank for instance, you can feel like the game is cake and suddenly difficulty jumps up a notch. Feel me?
+The Spectre Silver the frames is a boss in itself
the ratchet and clank sewer level is easy when you use the helicopter-jump-boost.. in the old game on ps2 however.. it wasn't so easy..
I ....That was the first time I had ever broken a controller. 😂 First of many. Ahh, good old ps2 games.
My biggest problem in FF7 was the fight against Hojo because I was extremely underleveled (I hated grinding in FF7), but I made it! I was so relieved afterwards. I'm still wondering how I got that far considering I barely leveled up my characters and almost never used summons or protectiond like Protes and such. xD
I don't subscribe to a lot of videos, but you and your team have earned it this day.
Why do they not have a 'Times Rob mentions Final Fantasy in his Friday Feature videos' counter?
+Alex Howe because it would not be as many as Metal gear lol
ChaosCloud96 That's probably true, though he didn't talk about MGS in this one :)
Alex Howe Well done Rob
okay that Pixar joke got me
In Jak II, just punch through them. Don't shoot. Just punch.
I ended up doing this and I still don't get it I did it legit when I was 14 and when I'm 18 I had to do this method
Man, I loved that Ratchet and Clank re-make. It reinvigorated my love for platformers.
hilarious. good work rob! 😂
OH MY GOD!!! DRIVER IS ON THIS LIST! YEEEAS! SO HARD!
7:36-7:45 that would be Rob's North American accent.
It's Somerset actually. My luverly home -Rob
+PlayStation Access We need more Somerset Driving Instructor Rob.
+PlayStation Access sounded a little more Cornish at times, either way, got my attention and made me laugh.
+Lup Lun yes
+Lup Lun yes
These guys put out quality content, truly funny
God damn Jak II was a good game
@@OtterloopB god not real
OtterloopB shut up
so why didn't kratos just climb up the rock instead of the deadly twisting pillar of blades?
Because it makes too much sense to have Kratos not to suffer through the tedious climb. I already thought the entirety of Hades was Hard as a whole. The pillar climb just didn't help.
liked for the driver tutorial. never got past that
Man I haven't gotten a notification from you guys since the beginning of 2020, where the hell have you been??
Good to see you again😊
Ornstein, and Smough, in Dark Souls. My god..
+Hayden Onion Super Londor Bros!
I'd say pikachu and snorlax were a difficulty spike in dark souls
hahaha omg the Driver one got me too damn! the nostalgia is real XD
who else doesn't own a PlayStation But always watches these videos?
MediumBibkie914 Me, kind of. I plan on getting a PS4 eventually (broke atm) and I own a PS2 but it's at my mother's which is an 11 hour drive away.
So as a mostly Xbox Player I watch these videos all the time but I do technically own a Play Station and plan on getting another one.
TheRedFox914 moi
Ai
That would be me
Regret my choice of buying xbox watching these...
How the hell did you get Brian Cox???
Where was Shin Megami Tensei in this list?
Kingdomhearts 1 when you had to fight Riku at the end. Omg hardest boss. Till this day i never beated him.
+toongrowner1 fanservice
haha, yep I said the same thing. I've played games on easy ever since Riku. I beat him by snapping the disc in half.
+JDMCrave Kingdom Hearts 2 HD Critical difficulty starting from Organization 13 members and their files later in the game :3
as a person going through Jak 2 completely for the first time (since I rage quit when I was younger) I can completely confirm that those two parts still made me get stuck for at least a half hour each(the tank for an hour)
Was that actually Brian Cox?....
+Woodencoins i guess we are the only two who seen that
He's on every few weeks. Surprised you haven't seen him on here before
+coalhalo who the frick is Brian cox?
He's an English physicist, and Advanced Fellow of particle physics in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manchester.
+Jdurr94: The Gamer That's OK, you're welcome. I like his "The Wonders Of The Universe", where he uses rocks and other items to represent planets and/or stars. Sadly, I don't watch TV anymore :(
NEVER PLAYED DRIVER BESIDE THE FREE ROAM BECAUSE THAT!
Just drive
Dark Souls doesn't have a difficulty spike?
*stares at the Tomb of the Giants*
+Elemental_Phoenix having just done a quick google search, I can now say I understood that reference.
+Elemental_Phoenix or at Sen's Fortress..
Each week, when Rob says "Hello", I smile and cheerfully say "Hello, Rob" and settle back in my chair, happy.
Roxas fight at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 FM
Any Monster Hunter game that has G-rank
Indiana Jones true
The water escape was easy
yep
It was even harder in the original
I did it first try
+Tomi Mikkola i agree it was harder in the origional
Shipyard was easy on easy. Play it on crushin and see how easy it is.
It's always the turret mini-game sections in the Jak games for me.
Jak 1 - Shooting the swamp rat lurkers in Boggy Swamp (WAY harder than the fishing mini-game)
Jak 2 - Shooting the Krimson Guard jetpack guys and the battleship at the Drill Platform
Jak 3 - Defending Spargus from the War of the Worlds-esque mech things near the end of the game.
Jak 3 where you had to drive behind 8 dune buggys and destroy them before one of them enters their base. It was freaking awefull. I literally punched a hole in my wall. This was very difficult to explain to my parents
Driver xD oh the memories. I thought this garage level was the whole game, because I havent seen the outside of it ever xD
Just finished that after breaking my pack of pencils
How about the Daxter Pacman game that was absolutely terrible the sounds are still in my head to this day
I don't remember uncharted 3 having a difficult spike.
ThePhreakass Ship Graveyard was a pain, but yeah wasn't really a difficult spike.
exp obesity lol. Rob is just the best.
Dude I must say I've seen a lot of you tubers but you're easily my favorite keep it up man you rock
The whole of dark souls is one massive difficulty spike.
Epic Marschmallow not if you git gud
The96claw PlayZ git gud wtf are your teachers teaching u in school what are u some kind of 4 year old drug addict
+Holland Moore Yes! Yes, I am a drug addict.
Moron, that is kinda part of gamers by now xD. It's like a pokemon fan saying gotta instead of got to. People know how it should be, they just use it to sound funny or have fun.
Not when you played Demon's Souls.
5:24 what game is this i like how the art looks
I wanna know to,searching the web as of now, will return with results
found it,its called Against Nature
+Weston Hull cool thx
+light819 what system is it on I can't find anything for it
+light819 let me find out real quick
Can I flex that I have platinumed ratchet and clank on expert mode? Yeeeeee
Can I flex that I have all platinum relics in Crash 1
Not really a flex, Ratchet and Clank 2016 is pretty easy
I would have done that but I accidentally deleted my save file
Yeah bro, the driver test at the start got me as well. Great video mate 👍🏻
uh... for the ratchet and clank sewer section, just long jump while ignoring the enemies and you'll be fine
That's how I did it in 2002!
+Zeromega159 I don't even remember that part being hard at all and I don't play games on easy lol
I ❤️ PlayStation Access
+Everything Gaming Me too, especially their friday features
you're getting balder every day
+Koen Willems Simply can't argue with that -Rob
What's bad about it? He looks better bald!
Can't say i've ever seen him with hair, but yes indeed, it looks good
+Alireza M that's a matter of opinion, I disagree, and I don't know Rob's opinion
at the end of the day, the only things that really matters are his skills in ps4 and making vids about it ;)
I loved the water run because of the amount of time it took me in the original and brought back memories. Not too mention ratchet and clank is 1 of the 3 platinums I have :)
The Toad Prince from Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone
Oh my god that pissed me off so much I quit the game for like a month, killed me maybe 6 times. Then I started playing again,
prepared a lot more, beat him on my first try coming back. It was glorious
+Julian Webb "killed me maybe 6 times?" what a filthy casual you are
Julian Webb Same here, I tried around a dozen times then I gave up. I came back to it after I beat Dark Souls 3 and beat him after my second attempt. It was actually far more difficult than the final boss of the main story and I think that caught a lot of us off guard. Even the time I actually beat him it took me a good 20+ minutes
Ratchet and clank escape the sewers is not. A difficulty spike I beat on my first try
Cool story bro
dude come on Ratchet and Clank was easy on NORMAL!!!
for me it seemed the sewer got harder I noticed it on my 3rd play through
Sh4D0w G4miNg trust me that fame was the easiest plantinum and paet of the game i played
No one said it was hard.....
ratchet and clank was easy on hard on challenge mode XD
anace low come on that is Farcry thats a free platinum. 😁
The look on Drake's face at 4:13 is a pretty accurate depection of the topic here.
The grenade can be substituted for a controller for additional effect.
Ratchet and clank 2016 is easy as hell on the highest difficulty
What about Dragon age Origins? Love the game but good God in my experience things were close to impossible at times.
...like what?
ToastAndJellyfish Well I suppose that it's always impossible for me to get the best stuff in the game since it cost al least over 70 gold or sovereigns no matter how many side quests I played out it doesn't make me enough to get over 100 gold or even 60 gold. I have Origins on PS3 so I'm not as lucky as pc race.
Use the exploit if you want money so much, infinite money at start :V
lol
Fairycancel OK I'll Google it.
Fairycancel Alright fine I guess Dragon age origins isn't that hard I've just always had trouble making large amount of money in the damn game. So thanks for the tip.
Flight School from GTA San Andreas -.-
The Zero missions with the remote controlled planes.. Never got anywhere near doing those
True
+Moody Blues Basically any GTA mission that involves flying. Those were all too frustrating
You're welcome for watching. Thank you for making!
