Hi Omar. Thanks for posting this and the previous video on your Jeep Commander build. I have a 2009 that I bought in order to tow a camper, but now think I want the simplicity of camping in my SUV. I really like how you did the hinged section with the gas struts and the adjustable legs. It seems simple to build but opens up access to a lot of storage space.
Oh man, looks great! Nice work. And the mosquito netting is brilliant. I'll be looking that up on Amazon later this evening. Can't wait for the video to see how well this solo camping Commander works out.
Love it Omar. It looks great. Maybe you can make a raised shelf so that you can keep the sleeping room for the dogs or maybe just have a footlocker that you can slide out to allow room for the dogs at bed time.
Hey Zombie thanks for your post and for watching brother! The two smaller ones are monoprice from Amazon and they are solid! The bigger one is a pelican case. Been up there for two years and the pelican case has faded a bunch but the monoprice are still like new haha. All three have stayed rain and dust proof
