When I started planning in a planner around 2012 and starting hardcore watching videos on RUclips about it, I was so envious of all the ladies that had very busy schedules and their planner were filled with all the things. I admit, I was super intimidated by it because around that time my son was becoming a high schooler, he didn’t need “mom” as much so, I was like what the hell do I need a planner for? Then it changed when I bought my first hobonichi and something about that planner told me, you don’t have to have a busy schedule to enjoy your planner. That’s when I just started writing down the simplest things I had done for the day like, clipped the cats nails…haha. But, I look back at those things, that information and it is actually useful cause I can see, oh I did that simple task a month ago and it’s time to do it again. So, I love this type of planning so much because it really is more like real life than not ☺️♥️
We each just have to be realistic about our own lives but our planners can meet us wherever we are!! I needed a planner initially because I couldn’t remember where I needed to be when (shuttling my kiddos to and fro). 🤣 I’m not going to quit planning just because they’re grown and gone. It’s my time, now! 🤣 Glad you’ve found your niche in your planner and yes, looking back on those little things is helpful!!
Such a great opportunity when you have very few events/appointments to schedule in things you’d like to be doing each week. A few items on the calendar can help us to be productive and not feel like we wasted time. I can’t imagine a time that I don’t have areas of my life I need to improve on. Thanks for sharing Julie x
Hope your MOHS surgery goes well. Been there before. This is a great reminder that when you write something down you are likely to do it. I have learned that it can be easy especially with little ones not to plan too much. But writing down things you want to get accomplished motivates you to get them done.
Yes, it’s a delicate balance between over scheduling and lack of structure. There’s a happy medium and it looks different for everyone! Thanks for your well wishes on my MOHS surgery. I am now referring to my scar as my “shark bite”. It’s pretty ugly.🫣
This is silly, but, for Christmas, many years ago, I got our entire family, sonicare toothbrushes. So, every year for Christmas now, I get everyone replacement heads for the year. I record, on my monthly, when we’re supposed to change them. I’ll send out a group text “change your brush heads” when that day comes. Lol
I took a lot of notes to this video. Since losing my job I didn't know what I should use my planners. You have given me much to think about. Thank you for another great video and have a great week!
I think you know… I work full time but have a lot more tasks and very few appointments other than my personal ones. I’m using a horizontal weekly with a long to do section. It’s working but I like the idea of your new inserts a lot.
I have just started writing down my word of the day from my dictionary app which has been fun to go back and see if I remember their definition. Where do you order your icon stickers from?
Such a thoughtful and helpful video! I am using only MO1P and WO1P, which seem to work well. I have always been a daily planner first and foremost, which is why the other two can remain on one page. I am considering changing to a two page daily…considering 🤣🤣 I appreciate your time with these videos, I adore yours most of all🤍😘😘
I’ve never been a daily planner gal, but having a space to jot down lists in my A6 has proven to me the worth of a daily page!! And yes, less space is def needed on the other views now!

I just moved to half letter and this is great. Can't wait to try

This was an amazing video! I love that - how busy your schedule is doesnt define your worth. 🖤
Have to remind myself of that sometimes… and make good use of that freedom within my schedule! Work in progress!
I sometimes write a few lines of things that made me happy that day or about something important that happened.
Yes! Another great way to use your planner!
Me too. ☺️

I haven’t heard of that! Great idea! Icon stickers from everywhere, lol. The planner spot, sweet caress, planner fluent and Paperie planning! 😅
Hi Julie, is this hourly schedule still available for purchase? I noticed your Etsy store is closed. Thank you :)
No, sorry. I closed my Etsy shop in January and am no longer offering the inserts. 🤍
