- Hello planner babes! Thank you for being here and taking the time to watch my video! I hope you liked it or got something out of it ^_^ Sometimes I feel like I just need to talk out loud to someone and doing it on here in this community always makes me feel so good so thank you again!! I know it’s pretty random right a half letter haha but I see so many great set-ups and am feeling like planning larger so why the heck not (especially when you can do it with a bunch of freebies and low budget righttttt hehe). So far I’m still enjoying it and utilizing the scheduling sections most of all. Will keep posted lol! Unit next time xx

This is a nice set up! I love aluminum discs! You have to match the punch to the discs bc the mushroom shape is different between punches. The Happy Planner discs themselves are thinner than others so the punched shape of the “stem” is skinnier and tall. Matching the HP punch with HP discs (plastic or aluminum) will make the pages turn better. Using the HP punch with thicker discs makes the paper drag. I’m a big fan of the Levenger punch bc it’s the most roomy mushroom shape so it works well with most discs. It’s pricey but goes on sale and since I DIY my set ups it was worth it. It’s heavy duty and punches through a lot. Mine is still going strong after 8+ years. I didn’t care for Arc. The stem is too short and pages were annoying to turn w/ any discs. Levenger has fun colors of aluminum discs, not as bright as HP colors but still nice. Again, pricey but worth it and they run sales from time to time. There are some good videos comparing the punch shapes.

Love when people make passive aggressive comments about my life lol like I know I need to prioritize my life better, I don’t need u to tell me. Love the video and self care is important for regenerating energy to do tasks anyways, and if your self care is planning and making videos then who cares what those people think anyways

Can i ask what punch do you use for the discbound inserts? Im in Ontario and Ive trying to find something within Canada....just curious?
absolutely!! I know it can be so challenging sometimes to find stuff in Canada right! I use the happy planner punch i got from michaels! the full size one! I was looking at the ARC and Levenger in the US, and i was a bit confused about which one to use if im a beginner. Ill take a look at the happy planner punches for sure.Thank you for sharing and i love your vids for inspo.
