Nearctic begat Northern Dancer, who begat Sadler's Wells, who begat Montjeu, Galileo(Derby winner in 2001), & High Chaparral(Derby winner in 2002). Montjeu begat Motivator(Derby winner in 2005), Authorized(Derby winner in 2007), Pour Moi(Derby winner in 2011), & Camelot(Derby winner in 2012). Galileo begat New Approach(Derby winner in 2008), Ruler of the World(Derby winner in 2013), & Australia(Derby winner in 2014), and Pour Moi begat Wings Of Eagles(Derby winner in 2017). Breeding is a huge part of success in the Derby or the Oaks at Epsom, and nobody does it better than Coolmore, IMO.

He knows it's all about the bloodline, not anything to do with him. He just drives his car around with his arm out the window asking riders how they are. Literally that's all he does. Then come race day, other people pack up the horses, off they go and win their races. AOB has fuck all to do with it. Vincent O'Brien was the real genius - built Ballydoyle and had to handpick the horses to win the derby, no two horses related.

No Northern Dancer (Kentucky Derby winner), no bloodlines, no Sadlers Wells, no Galileo, no Frankel. The great Vincent O Brien is the daddy of them all, he introduced the aforementioned Northern Dancer. As for the begrudgers below, of course it is easy to get great stock but you still have to be able to train them, Aidan is the supreme trainer, often let down by a jockeys decision, course of action, luck in running etc. If training a horse was that simple well then, we'd all be doing it !. He is given horses bred to win, not all do because it aint that simple. Aiden O Brien is one the greatest trainers of the thoroughbred in the history of the sport.
