A pedal board shouldn’t weigh more than an amp. Very prudent approach having the throw and go board. I keep a small board and I’m always tweaking, but who isn’t. Thanks for the Hx one tip and I hope you found your duo lock in the tone garage. Good stuff as always Justin
Thanks Jimmy! I agree, less pedals more focus on playing. Yes I found it! I reorganized everything in the time garage yesterday so it’s in tip top shape..
A pedal board should have its own semi to haul it to the gig…. And weigh 5000x the amps…. After all… you need to sound like everyone else so you need 400 pedals right…… hahahahaha
It really does not matter how many pedals you have…. Your first statement about being really excited about it…. Which translates to happy playing and great performance anywhere you play even in the garage…. Ritchie Kotzen Tech 21 fly rig is possibly the easiest I have used to play a full on gig with anyone…. But I have sounds I use sparingly but love to have the option…. My big board has its own semi and 50 roadies….. hahaha
I have a throw and go board using all mini pedals , mostly for country & hot country .....ie....Mini Ego Compressor >Nobles ODR1 Mini>Tone City Lil Heat > Mosky Mini CE Chorus > Mooer Echoverb.....all goes into the front of my Vox Pathfinder 15 ( set at the edge of breakup ) I also use the Vox footswitch to kick in boost or activate the tremolo ......a great little light fly rig & amp . I can play anywhere .
Thanks Eric! Yes, I like the eq post drive cause it just sounds so much better eq is a lot more effective and I like to use it as a mid boost for leads add eq/volume. Cool setup
Great board and love the philosophy ...you can replace the GE7 with the Source Audio and get an onboard tuner as well. I just replaced my Brigadier with a Keeley Halo. Super useful for a lean board, sounds as good if not better than the Strymon.
Thanks!! I’ve been curious about those keeley halos.. I seen they have a new simpler version too.. I’d be curious to try it out. So many pedals it’s hard to keep up with lol! Thanks for watching + great suggestion!
Wooow🤩🤩🤩🤩😎😎😎😁🫵🫵✌️👏🙏😎😎😎, best playing on the planet !!! And sound too. Congratulattions !! I have a question: what path cables you use and connectors ? and guit/pedals/ , pedals/amp ? Thanks ! Great ! 🤩
I tried the drives in the loop approach with the HHX One, I have one issue: When I turn the HX One to bypass it disengages the loop, i.e. when the HX One is in Bypass the drive pedals are also bypassed. How to get the drives working without any effect? Create an empty patch?
Nice and compact, I like it. Is the GE-7 a recent or modded version that might be less noisy? I have an older one, and I love it, but the noise sometimes bothers me...
just patch all three pedals together. take the first input of the first pedal in chain, route into the "send", then patch all three pedals together (output to input), then take your final output of the chain and route that into the "return"
Thanks for the no BS quality content!
@@ryanpawelek6546 thank you Ryan!

Being able to reorganize the pedal chain order per whatever effect you’re using with the Hx One is a game changer - thanks for that video 👍
totally. thanks for watching!

Nice setup! Have you tried the GE-7 in front of the LightSpeed?
I run ZIO > Oxblood...with ZIO set to either Low-Cut or Studio EQ

Great use of the HX ONE.
Thanks Evan!

You should do a video on the HX One and some of its sounds?
Sure!
Lets hear that baby!
Sure! I was playing through it in the intro.. I can do a more in depth demo though
@@justinmeyersguitarist My bad Justin! That's what meant... more in depth run through of the sounds it can do. Thanks!

Thanks! No need for mod on the ge7. all hype. just get a brand new stock ge7
awesome! what did you use for power?
thanks! truetone cs6
How do you put 3 pedals in one effects loop?
just patch all three pedals together. take the first input of the first pedal in chain, route into the "send", then patch all three pedals together (output to input), then take your final output of the chain and route that into the "return"
@@justinmeyersguitarist thanks Justin!
Is that "the" Tone Garage?
Yes it is!!
Tuner?
Hx one has one but I’m going to run a Peterson outside the board
