This is insane. Literally I was wondering about that white noise effect on tracks and this showed up and the first thing I skimmed to random was that 🤯🤯
Really appreciate the work you put in to this. I’ve been really interested in this style for a while. My only critique is that I found the sound of your keyboard and mouse while touring the sounds a bit disruptive, but you played most things out enough I was still able to take in the sound for what it was. Thanks so much for the video. Keep it up!
Thanks bro, I love your music I’ve been watching you evolve for over a year now 😊 one time I saw I did my first line of ever line of k right before an integrate set and it changed my life. Thanks for the break down.
whats the legality around publishing a song with vocal chops from an established hip hop artist? Is it okay to use those chops if I were to upload to spotify? I know soundcloud is pretty lax. Curious ya'lls experience
I mean, of the trees has several songs on apple and Spotify that use commercial vocals, but they’re usually processed and pitched around enough that it’s hard to recognize. It’s definitely technically illegal, but if you make it in to your own different sound then it won’t get removed. It definitely helps to have small sections like “drop top Bentley” in the vid, but some of the trees tracks have longer sections and he’s still cooking so who knows
You can also use some AI tools to get the exact wording and phrases from songs, and even use the same tonal of voice for it. This is 100% legal and copyright/royalty free. I forget who had a video on it, it was either virtual riot or someone that mentions the site that does this.
Can you do a video on how to use a reference track? What your usual process is for taking inspiration and arrangement techniques from the piece? Thanks man, Fire as always! Straight and to the point.
This was just what I was looking for. Would be awesome if you could show how you mix and EQ everything to get that full loud sound. my tracks are feeling muddy atm
Great stuff! I'd love to see a sound design tutorial for Of the Trees ... some of his sustain basses are sooo thick and I'd love to learn how to create one that fills the frequency spectrum. Thanks Noetika!
I second this, would love to learn how to fill out the bass in the mids, my current stuff sounds solid when there's a speaker that can handle sub 200hz but on anything else it's like the bass isn't there
envelope following technique is some professional masterclass shit.
