He's so fricking helpful and ingenious. Thanks so much I learned more here than I've learned anywhere else in a WHILE. It's nice that I'm now able to start figuring out who is actually talented
THANK YOU BRO! Your videos are so helpful man, just from this and the lsdream style video Ive learned some really useful techniques, I just subbed to the patreon!
This comment is more of a tipsy rant than anything else, proceed at your own risk. I've been trying to make music for nearly 6 years now, and it's my first time watching a producer just doing producer things (without the editing). On one hand it's great to see that I ~kinda~ know what I'm doing, on the other hand it's frustrating. Ableton or FL offer so many shortcuts, better quality, and overall better workflow than what I'm using (LMMS). LMMS is absolutely amazing for what it is, great for beats, but it's frustrating me to the core that I can't afford any of the two mentioned DAWs, and I'm too honest and frankly, too tech illiterate to pirate. I'd end up giving my fairly new PC an STD. I thought I had a point with this comment, but oh well. Just wanted to add that learning a new software is also rather frustrating. I've tried both FL and Ableton free trails. A month isn't enough. And don't be like me and try to mix and master WHILE making a track. I'm halfway through now and I can't wait for the end result while opening my 3rd. Cheers to anyone else who's frustrated about anything, not just producing. Last edit: Sick beat, now I'm off to CBPMC to enjoy some deep Dubstep beats.
Dude this is not a Dub! dub is a technique of mixing a song but taking in and out individual parts and apply heavy delays / reverbs on it :D and sorry to say but this is not even Dub in terms of music genre.... i bellieve this is called dubstep :)
Deep Dubstep is a subgenre of Dubstep that is characterized by its slower tempo and deeper, more atmospheric sound. It often incorporates elements of ambient music, and its sound is often described as dark and brooding.
@@ViN-EzL yes dubSTEP and not DUB... I guess you got my point since your comment is saying deep dubstep... but your tittle of the video say deep dub, right?
@@echoboydub dude, names get adapted to other styles of music. Just because the origin of “dub” is as you described, that doesnt mean its the only use of the term lol
@@echoboydub here is how dubstep got its name and likewise deep dub. Hope this helps lol: The music, at least when it was invented, was a combination of Jamaican dub grooves with 2-step garage. In terms of who coined the name, the way I heard it was that Hatcha coined the name after hearing some of Benny Ill's records at Big Apple Records in Croydon. From an interview with Artwork: "Benny Ill used to come in the shop. Back in the early garage days he was trying to make garage but he was putting the snare on the wrong beat, on the three beat. It made it more like … he loves dub reggae.. he was making dub reggae garage. We were like ‘this is weird’ but Hatcha loved it but Hatcha called it dubstep. It was Benny Ill that started it, without a doubt. He used to bring the tracks into us. We were so used to the garage sound and he’d come in with this record with the beats on the wrong beat and Hatcha used to play them on then radio. It was very dubby and it wasn’t 2 step."
@@ViN-EzL dude, i know how did the name come about, i am listening dubstep from the 2005 era so i think i know a bit about it.... my point is, your video says in tittle deep dub and not dubstep.... this what you referening to does not make sense dude, because ITS STILL CALL DUBSTEP and not DUB as you named it. copy and paste of an old article which say where the name come from just dont justify that... and no one call it DUB dude, if someone say something about DUB in dubstep community its refering to a dubplate (exclusive) song and not to a genre of music, get a grip dude
