You just explained something about FM synthesis that I've been trying (and failing) to understand in a way that just clicked. I hope to meet you one day and shake your hand. I extra hope to perform with/around/before/after/at the same venue as you. You are amazing!
Awesome vid, but there’s a high/subby, wooden donk sound that keeps randomly happening throughout it. I think your mic is picking up something each time you move or click your mouse in a certain spot on your desk? A little distracting but no major deal really. Thought I should at least mention it
First of all, I saw you at Bass Canyon last month and your set was so sick man big ups! Question for you. Following along, the main bass group is clipping to all hell which I'm fine with, however when it comes to mastering this, if I just throw a pro-l on, there's up to 12db of gain reduction and my LUFS sit around -6. If I throw kckip on before the limiter, then I clip 16db, then with the limiter I get about -4 LUFS which is great. But I'm wondering what you're method is? When I reduce clipping that much with kclip then it changes the overall sound. What are your thoughts on this and how do you deal with getting all of this loudness into the master? Thanks again for all the work you do.
Let it clip on the master! Just make sure it sounds good when you do. Check out my tutorial (Most Dangerous Production Technique) on how to achieve this.
He has at least 4 tracks layered in total to fill the soundscape. I recreated his serum patch, added my own saturator and it sounded thin, so I added 2 OTTs, duplicated it, right click - transpose down 1 octave. then a separate layer for the half time riddim wub in stereo. a separate layer for the higher pitched sound. once you learn layering, EQ’ing, and adjust transients, your sounds will be more punchy/voluptuous. I recommend also following Dripment.
Serum does not create different sounds when fed exact inputs. You did something wrong you need to look at the knobs of the important controls in serum and consider your post processing
Let's talk about loudness ! Some of his track (subtronics) reach -2LUFS... is it necessary ? i mean really !!! because to my ears it's sounds just bad.. just loud for loudness sake... his compostions are great tho, not arguing on that !
fun clue for how i made omni: guitar pedal
hey I just wanted to say that Omnidirectional is my favorite track of all time
thank heavens he’s returned. thank u for not abandoning me ahee. i hope to perform before u one day 🙏🏼
The Kingdom is yours.
Priceless knowledge dude!
i learned recently that instead of resampling, you could freeze the MIDI track and just drag the clip and it will be audio
Your magic box truly is magic dude

Great video!!

I have all your magic racks, is the instant space creator coming in Vol 6? Love the content man thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Also the subtle space maker from vol 3 serves as a pretty damn near duplicate for anyone else recreating the rack
What's the outro song??? I love it
Please release another pack with a project file! There's pretty much no projects online to dissect that is this style!!

How did you settle on those wave tables ?
any reason why it wouldn't work I've done everything the same and it just plays a basic synth for a second and thats it? thanks.

So you don’t use a dedicated sub in your music? Do you only do it sometimes?
Dopeeeee
Yes! ❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏
Thank you so much
the sound on serum is not the same you are getting on my end. Did everything you had on serum
Serum does not create different sounds when fed exact inputs. You did something wrong you need to look at the knobs of the important controls in serum and consider your post processing
