The video editting is beautifull as well these great musics mixed with all these great games its crazy. It makes me remember of my childhood good times

    Man, I love looking through concept and production art. I wish more games had an “art gallery” mode.

    2:32 that is gold. Seriously this channel has the highest production value. I hope your channel explodes in views and subs

      I noticed the boom on the horrible example of low production values Capcom of America (if it ever existed) had back then. It was sorely needed of a sentiment we all capcom fans have abut that haunting image. Thank goodness i sought in the comments if someone else noticed, because I knew i couldn't be the only one.

    A masterpiece of nostalgia to watch and listen over and over again

    Top notch video as always. It really is amazing the effort developers put into production art even if it didn't look exact or was used in final game. Still amazed how close streets of rage storyboard look to final game.

    I love the aesthetic of your channel. The 80s, midnight, neon vibe makes me feel young again, and it makes these games feel fresh and new. I'm relatively new to your videos, but I'm hooked. Everything's really well done, man. I've been wanting to create a channel like this for a while now, but it looks like you've got this covered. Great job!

    I always wondered why information about the process of making these classic games are so scarce.Probably there´s tons of behind scenes material inside their vaults that will never see the light of the day.There´s so much mistery behind the creation of these games.Your channel is one of the fews that tries to touch the matter.Thanks for the high quality content.

    In case you weren't aware already (1.5 years+ after the upload, it would be crazy if it hasn't already been mentioned), the title seems to have a typo -" Concert Art" should be "Concept Art", no?

      Thanks for pointing it out, I'll double check in my original file if I've corrected the mistake in case I want to re publish the video in the future.

    80's synthwave to 90's games is kind of wierd.

    • @strafefox
      @strafefox  5 лет назад +1

      Oh the music is me having a bit fun. Sometimes it's completely out of context (used everything from G1 Transformers, Lou Rawls to Kim Wilde, Cyndi Lauper and even Samantha Fox haha) but I make sure that it still fits the mood. And my 3 part making-off series covers the late 80s to early 90s so it wasn't too far of ;)

      Thanks! I've been collecting concept art and design docs for the past 10 years. They come from a variety of sources; for example old gaming magazines like Mean Machines SEGA, books like Mega-Drive collected works and Twitter feeds/blogs from original developers.
