[TAS] Tekken 5 - Jinpachi Mishima Story Mode Ultra Hard

- I've used Cheat Engine to play as Jinpachi Mishima in Tekken 5.
Turns out he has no actual cutscenes and he'll "steal" the ones of the character you choose to start Story Mode.
But most importantly, his Fireball attack is utterly bugged and it stops working every time you load a savestate. Which basically means he can't be used in a TAS.
You have no idea how much I've worked on and studied for this...
I basically had to repeat the Story Mode 9 times, to record 9 different matches while still being able to use the Fireball attack (which turns invisible when used as human Jinpachi Mishima form, for some reason).
Speaking of forms, it seems Jinpachi Mishima actually has 4 different costumes, just like any other regular character: 2 human forms (which look very similar bar the bracelets) and 2 demon forms (which differ only by the color of his aura).
Still, I've shown every costume Jinpachi Mishima has, most of his movepool, some cool tricks and even more; so I consider myself very satisfied of this work. I even went in the options to change every match rounds from "2" to "3", to better showcase him (mostly 'cause, withi Jinpachi's sheer damage, every match lasts a couple of seconds at most lol).
I'll do some more TASes of Tekken 5, much later down the line. So stay tuned for more!

Man talk about putting the family in place lol. Keep up the good work and would love to see you do more videos on this series. I love the Tekken franchise when it comes to fighting games.
I also would love to bring some more Tekken content, problem is: it takes a lot of time to study a char, learn the strings and then record each match. :(
@@Dr._Doppietta Yeah I see the issue there it takes so long to remember the combos and see how they chain together. No pressure man it's your channel you run it how you want to. Just know you have my support on your decisions.
He can loop that force stun thing? In addition to having plus frames for days and restanding juggles... Jinpachi was truly cursed.
Prob one of the most OP final bosses of the whole Tekken series.

4:20 & 8:25 I always thought those glitched cutscenes were pretty funny 🤣 I wonder why it doesn't just play normally with Jinpachi's model.
Also, I think that might be an unused or unfinished victory animation that Jinpachi keeps doing because it's very short and in another video I saw someone win a match as Jinpachi and that was one of his win animations.
But holy crap, the memories! I miss playing this game as a kid.
Pretty sure the game doesn't really know how to properly handle Jinpachi's model in someone else's cutscene, so it just glitches out. lol

Jinpachi is one of the bosses that I hate the most. but watching you play with him is quite funny. All I know is that it was playable on PS3. Unfortunately I couldn't test it :(

The hardest boss in the Tekken franchise and one of the hardest I've ever experienced across any fighting medium.

Yep, nothing incredible, but his model isn't exactly well made for playing. It stretches a little, it was obv for demon form only.
You can play with this same not bugged human version in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. His face looks stretched because this version wasn't meant to be played on Tekken 5, and the Demon model is taller.
Nah, it looks good aesthetically still, very good design.
The "Cutscenes" with Kazuya & Heihachi are so bugged lol

Scusa ma inizialmente sembrava che ne avesse una di story mode. Ed il video finale è effettivamente il suo (cioè quello se si perde contro di lui) scusa ma che codici hai usato? Perché forse sono quelli a fare la differenza. Sarebbero anche quasi perfetti, dovrebbero solo mettere come ultimo boss finale Wang e la sua cutscene...
Its a shame that the final battle cutscene doesnt have a mirror match dialogue but its okay

Non si "sblocca", devi utilizzare dei codici per costringere il gioco a caricarlo come personaggio giocabile.

On a real PS2 hardware, you need a third party device, like a Game Shark.
Just use Google.
