John Landis's Werewolf depiction will always be historical to film. His idea of a werewolf really hit the mark. From the Build up, to the desgin, to the gore, to the suffering of the cursed individual, to the transformation, to the Rampages and beastly sounds. It's truly the definition of a lycanthrope. "They really give you the feeling that a human in extreme pain and agony is trapped in the body of a feral beast." Plus they treat lycanthrope curses like a deadly, virus cycle. But warned by the undead about the serious consequences that come with it.
And what you have to do to end it all. This movie truly does a spectacular job at showing all of these things I said. "Truly a horror classic that will live on" (insert blood curdling howl)

I’ve watched that transformation so many times since high school and it’s still good.

Happy I met Rick Baker a few years ago. When I praised him and his colleagues for all the stuff they came up with, he joked, "so you're HAPPY we all traumatized you?" I'm like, YUP!
