A modular synth album from Andrew Huang would be the dream man
:D
I WOULD BUY IT!
I’m not a fan of electronic music. Since I started watching Andrew I bought a bunch of synths and my dad built a eurorack thing. I’d totally chill out and just listen to a modular album by Andrew.
A single smiley gives away a million secrets?
I wonder if Andrew has ever listened to 1970's era Tangerine Dream?
The track starting at 5:25 is one of the most beautiful pieces you have created so far. In my opinion. I'd love an album in that style ❤️❤️🎉🎉
Agreed!
Also Agreed!
Also also agreed!

Also also also also agreed!
5:25 Sounds like an opening or menu OST for a Cyberpunk Video Game.
also the patch at 5:25 is insane my lord
5:25 This is f cking art.
@Shadow isn’t quite dead. WHAT? you use logic? I use FL Studio
MasicBemester Shadow isn't quite dead.
All DAWs are good and can be used to make great and professional sounding music, it's just how a person uses it, and how well they can use it.
@Shadow isn’t quite dead. Caustic 3.2 is another good one for phones
indeed! its simple, but also beautiful.
Shadow isn’t quite dead. Never? Really??? My God, really sad. Try listening to Siriusmo, not this moron
GUYS, THE TRACK AT 5:25 IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD/STREAM ON BOTH SPOTIFY AND RUclips, PLEASE STREAM GANGLIA.
Everyones talking about 5:25, but damn, those mesmerizing effects on 1:54… I could cry rn
Man, I will NEVER EVER buy any of these or learn how to use them, but watching Andrew masterfully create with them is something I could watch all day.
Idk how people afford these things just the delay module is $639
delay for 600 bucks? Hahahahah
@@CallMeMicahT yeah as cool as it sounds I'm not dropping 700 on delay
'masterfully' PLEASE TRY IT FOR YOURSELF: u'll discover that... IS SIMPLE, VERY SIMPLE. The device deserves compliments because worx fine, not this moron just because he turn it on. Stop treating normal people like gods just because they speaks english and bought a GoPro to shot stupid videos. U r making him rich without he deserves it.
@@SjN7HETIK I take it you haven't seen many of Andrew's videos.
Never thought I'd want to spend nearly 1k$ on a delay unit. This thing is practically an instrument unto itself.
all modulation based effects are achieved with delay of some sort. even pitch shifting is kind of related to it. intellijel just went ham on this unit with the comb filtering, etc
very good video with no filler, i like that you described the patch a bit (the different modules)
Changing the pitch of the feedback is something I've been experimenting with! A whole new flavour! Creates we crazy depth
I have a Chronoblob, and... I had never considered needing any more taps until this. Great video, that jam at the end was inspiring.
Stellar job!! (as usual) two robot thumbs up from the intellijel crew :) :) :)
Thanks for making great instruments!
I want to thank you for the metropolis and polaris. Those went up in my first modular and I love em both. Your modules are incredible.
Intelljel you should put your Modules in vcv rack .
Maaaannn... I love it. I used to never come to your videos just because you were so popular, but hands down you make among the best reviews and demos!! The Rainmaker seemed to be too-much-in-one-place module, but it is definitely worth it, the randomization of all parameters you showed is one proof of it. And you have one new follower, for what it's worth.
WOW ! I love the patch starting at 5:25 :O Such a great atmosphere ! Great video man !
The best explanation in 8 minutes. Thanks!
I love how you explain .. and these sounds are beautiful and very stimulating. I would like to experiment these sounds in other musical genres
OMFG i literally bought one of these a week ago and im SO SO HYPED for it !
Have to say I was blown away with what it did to the drums awesome tool.
I love how creative and genuine you are.
This modulator honestly seems to offer way more than just delay, I love to see and hear you show us this kind of cool modulators, the way you present them is also great. Never stop
Suuuper cool video. And the track you came out with for the module is awesome!
Andrew, you absolutely need to do a weekly modular series, where you set up a configuration based around a theme, an idea, or even just a module. And then just start jamming out on it, and seeing where it takes you. I'm hopefully going to get into modular, real soon myself, and you're one of the main reasons for it. You break things down so well, and just make everything you touch sound so organic. Always enjoying your material!
Bob Ross, except it's Andrew Huang creating modular patches in real time
@@AmourEtRespect I don't even care for synthesizers that much, but I would totally watch The Joy of Synthesizing with Andrew Huang.
Wow. Read the comments, waited for 5.25 to build up tension, was amazed. Could listen to it for hours 😍
What an awesome product. Very nicely presented of course!
This is pure madness. I love it.
It's probably been said allready ('cause I'm not reading all your comments, of course), but you have an excellent and very plesant way of presenting your uploads. Great content, but really a sublime and clear editing and production. I just love watching it... because of that.
O, and because of the modulars. haha
This is amazing. Keep it up
You bring so much to the table so often. Thank you.
Every video you make is a contribution to my life that I take with me.
Your videos are an instant inspirations.
Andrew Huang made me become interested in synthesis❤️just made/soldered my first stepped tone generator. A little £20 box of resistors and capacitors
WelshiePlaysGuitar Tutorial?
Ha ha... say good bye to your previous life... oh and sleep.
@@pxls_9018 I would but it didn't work 100%. Just mostly and in random ways😂 But I love it that way
What a beautiful instrument, nice tracks andrew
5:25 gives off mad Machinarium vibes, love that style!!!!
6:45 I reappeared back in the room when you pulled that cable out... that track is magic!
As always with the modular videos, that track is just so good..
You are such a huge inspiration, and thank you for the introduction to modular many videos ago!
5:25 oh woe make a album on this👍👍👍👍👍🙌🙌🙌🙌sooo coooll
You inspire me to create Andrew!
Just subscribed as I have an interest in anything synthesizer-related. Also, I'm partially hearing hence why I don't listen to music that has songs or vocals in it but can take in all sorts of electronic music easily. I've also just realised I've been watching and listening you without any subtitles turned on as you have an easy going voice. Good work.
You explain things extremely well. Thank you so much for your vids.
This has been one of my favourite effects since I first discovered it and oh my god I need it even more after seeing this, never heard anything round quite as awesome as that!
Brilliant!!! Had my eye on this...Also the Tapographic Delay....What an amazing age of music we live in
I was waiting for new videos from your channels. First, I'm happy to watch your videos again. Second, as I'm a huge fan of delay FX (both physical and plugins) I really enjoyed. I think using this type of delay, can make musicians much more creative. Loved it!
Your Modular video's are really, really good. Would like to see more.😃
I've never been into modular but this thing is mental! The track in the end is amazing.
That demo at the end sounded really good.
yumm! track sounds great :D and yeah, any synth with a random button and randomization in general makes me super happy! :)
I'm loving all these frequent(cy) uploads. Keep up the amazing content!
Dude... the track from 5,25 the chills... so good!!!!
This is the friendliest explanation of ALL of these concepts that I've encountered. Thank you Andrew, great job.
Thanks a lot for this one ! I also appreciate that you are totally transparent on your relationship with Intellijel.
That track in the end...... just... wow....
I need an eloquencer review from you. I need it!
That patch starting at 5:24 😍 I think i have fallen in love, can we please have a whole album like that? 😳😍
You're a great music teacher!!
For the ones who produce in the box or don't have the money for this unit, Logic Pro X has a similar plug-in called Delay Designer.
Delay is so powerful it can enhance a song in so many ways!!
Wooo you finally did a video on the rainmaker
Loved the piece at the end. Probably my favorite piece you've ever made. It reminded me of Bluetech, something off Sines and Singularities.
That's an amazing synth!
Whoa! this is FRIGGING GREAT! I wish there was a VST version. You're awesome!
This is pure magic and I'm in love
Dope video Andrew! I have a rainmaker myself. Love it! Definitely the deepest delay I've ever used.
I sold mine after a while as it tended to feel a bit like using a plug in. And in truth, there are guitar pedals with 16 tap delays. The plus to the rainmaker was really the interface is actually pretty good for how deep it is. Great module. Maybe one day I'll buy it again... Nice video as always Andrew
i love your videos so much andrew!! theyre so freakin aesthetic and inspire me to explore music more
Thanks for watching :)
ANDREW HUANG anytime! i cant get enough of ur videos. also thanks for the like 🤠
Cool to see you using NLC modules- you should do some videos on those as they deserve a wider audience!
PSA: VCV users can get Portland Weather and Hair Pick, both from Frozen Wasteland. They respectively emulate the tap delay and the comb filter sections from this module. The former is quite CPU hungry though, so beware.
Dang that was awesome, loved the glitchy beat at the end!
I love your videos Andrew, your always nice and thorough while keeping that relaxed slightly humorous feel, during your videos .You have inspired me to start uploading my own music. KEEP UP THE GREAT CONTENT BRO 🙏🙏🔥
Amen
Shyon damn ur music is hot 🔥
Seriously this is the music you should publish, I’ll buy it. The final mix...heaven
Wtf, I never thought I would get blown away by delay. I need this.
Just like to say I love your tips on music. Not necersseraly this vid, but other ones have inspired me to make music, and im sure others are. Thank you.
I love how one in every three videos you upload just has me in complete awe at the sounds the hardware allows you to make .
It's crazy really how far we've come as a species regarding our technology (im not memeing , that's really how i feel about this )
You’re so perfect at explaining things!
This is the first demo that has made me want this unit - thanks!
Wooo! I see what you did in the background, that eurorack is growing fast :3. Very nice music as usual!
This thing is a beast! Love Intellijel gear. amazing design and value, top quality sounds
@5:25 I’ve been sold...your video presentation is excellent
5:25 I could here it my entire life... It is one of the most cool tracks Ive ever heard.. nice andrew!!
What are the Chances of more "WEIRD GEAR"?
P Noid when he finds more weird gear
P Noid
Right now, actually.
Spot on! Just checked out the "rainmaker" and it certainly caught my attention but then I was lost in the world of modular afterklang effects. Huge thanks for spanking this one up! Convinced? Yes, I am! :D
I am so getting this thang, thanks for the inspiring and straight forward video demo!
Wonderful video. Trouble is....now I WANT ONE!
And i was considering delay as an optional effect for all this time...
I seriously need to learn, that's a word I need to explore to discover all possibilities of delay !
I don't know if Andrew already did, or have been asked but I was wondering if you would consider making a big masterclass on synthesis. I would be so curious to understand each and everything you need to know to make proper synthesis. Thanks ! :)
A lot of the effects this causes sound like Infected Mushroom's music. Love it!
goddamn 5:46 BIG sound
One of my all time favorite RUclipsrs
Do you have a video about ALL those sound manipulating devices(i dont know the precise names of them) and how they work together to make sound? Great video, keep it up Andrew!
Hi Andrew, love the Tiger 🐅 sweater, where did you buy it? Thanks!
Thanks Andrew I was on the fence back and forth and I picked this back up! Awesome module!!
Fun fact about the name moffenzeef. Moffen is slang for Germans and zeef is a sieve in Dutch. In the second world war the Germans transmitted a radiosignal that would eliminate the Dutch radio stations. With a '' moffenzeef'' this signal was blocked so the dutch could listen to their own radio stations!
2:18 Thanks dude for that sample
The last track of this video is just awesome
This is great, I've been overlooking this so far but this video actually got me interested in this, I'd wish you'd make a Magneto video as well, I may get both...in like 4 years 😂
i watch these videos in the hopes that i'll ever be able to afford this stuff, until then, i think i'll admire his talent and creativity
Andrew this video is Amazing what a great delay!
i love the red box text, it really helps explain what you are doing
Hey! I am just throwing this here but I love your videos =)
You helped me get some ideas and help with daw workflow for electronic music.
I have been a life long musician but Electronic music is fairly recent.
Anyways, keep up the good work and if you ever pass by Quebec I'd love to jam ;)
I wish there was an oscilloscope view for all this genius!
Ok that cmb filter gave me so great 80's flashback. Love it.
