How many tier I telcos you see in 2020-2021 using mainframe? Also you mentioned end to end processing in milliseconds (single digit presumably). Can you share articles with detail description (similar to single digit micro latency techniques from NVIDIA and HPE)? Thanks 👍
I see plenty of top tier telcos still using mainframe across the globe. However, this is just an example in the presentation. Every traditional telco has plenty of legacy systems to integrate and modernize. No matter if mainframe or anything else. For low latency, I do not mean micro second or single digit latency. I mean end-to-end data processing for business applications. For more details, use cases and a clarification of the term, check out this post: www.google.de/amp/s/www.kai-waehner.de/blog/2021/05/23/apache-kafka-cloud-native-telco-infrastructure-low-latency-data-streaming-5g-aws-wavelength/amp/
@@BryanChance and HPC calling Ethernet/ITCP legacy. It's pity there's only one vendor of IB left. I know only YelloBrick OLAP DB using not legacy infrastructure...
I am looking for 5G Core integration and confiuration doecs and files. such as Integration and cinfiguration a new node in the 5g core like (CSCF, MGC,IMF,UPF,SMF; ..... ) I appreciate if you can share these documens and integration files

Many telcos are probably stuck in their legacy systems. they still call send/receive as tip/ring. LOL

I don't think something like this exists. Super complex and every CSP does its own thing. And keeps the solutions confidential.
