I grew up hearing this song, played by my old man - who was born and raised in Glace Bay, and told me how much this reminded him of his childhood there, summer nights on Mira Gut. He's been gone nearly 25 years, but I chose to believe he's gone to "be with them again".
I sure miss Ann Murry singing her songs. It was such a pleasure to come across this music video of a old song I learned to sing in high school it brings back some of my favorite memories that I treasure so much

@@dannyhuffman I've in southern California and it's monsoon season here. I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where summertime temperatures and relative humidity were the same number. Like 98 degrees and 98%. I found I hate sweating. When I came to the California desert i thought I had died and gone to heaven because there was no.humidity! It will be over soon

At first I thought it was a man singing. She has a rather low voice. I like the song minus the witches and warlocks stupid line. Not my favorite version but the song is nice. Celtic Thunder does it the best.
