One of Anne Murray's most beautiful lyrical vignettes, although she has many. I love this and the words are very appropriate to a relationship I once had. Nostalgia for Canada and the down to earth communities, even in the old cities, as it used to be, and four seasons.
I can't thank you enough for sharing this! My mom and I used to sing and harmonize together over every mile we drove and this one was our specialty. She's been gone for over30 years now, but this song brings her right back to me every time. Apparently it's a bit of a deep dive because I can't find it on vinyl or any streaming service. So, I've been having to keep it alive, relying only On my memory for decades. Nice to have it straight from Anne. Thanks again for cementing the sweet memories with this share!
It’s a beautiful Jesse Winchester song. Anne has excellent taste. ❤
Only Anne can caress the words of this song and make it so beautiful.
