Vernon Diannah Porter Bruce went on to be a high school teacher and has retired. He was such a talent and I understand he used that talent throughout his career.
I am a tremendous Bruce Murray fan and am lucky to own everything he ever recorded, beginning with his first album, which Anne Murray's manager helped me get way back when because getting Canadian LPs in the United States was so difficult. I also got Anne Murray's first three Canadian LPs through the good graces of Arc Records and Capitol Canada. I just knew she was going to prove a major force in international popular music and I was right.
Just saw your post. Go to ebay and search for Bruce's music every day and eventually you will come across his albums and can get them It's worth the patient searching.

Bruce just released his new book ‘PIAU’
He passed away last September from pancreatic cancer at the age of 69
