I love your reactions! "Freaking giant guys.....it's not that big." You are just like we are....excited for every fish! Keep it up man! Hoping to learn a little about Norman by watching you. Only fished it once.
Yes I'm like Ike I get too excited and think every fish is a big one lol. My high fish aren't even that big. Norman is a fun lake but can be challenging
@@landonmoore76 Shoot man, you go out for a few hours and beat what I do in a full day. Maybe I'll bump into you up there one of these days! Tight lines!
Glad your catching some fish! Hopefully, you keep getting some good content. I've got a moonshiner ready to go for Saturday. I've never used it, so hopefully, we catch something with it on camera. Tight lines, Landon. I'll let you know how we do man.
Frighing awesome wake bites dude ! Saw your rod literally jump on the 1st big one I think . I fished Smith lake in Al back in late Jan and had some pretty awesome wake bites in 50 degree water big spots crush those, and honestly not many people will fish one for only 6-7 bites , but this video reminded me of that day very cool buddy. Congrats
Great vid! is Norman's water still muddy, if you know? been fishing it since 2020 and i'm not used to less than 4 feet visibility, like it was in Feb 2024. thanks!
What has happened at Norman since I last fished? Been caught up with my PhD studies and research so I've only fished about once a year for the past 2 years. I'm glad to see the eel grass that was growing around the blythe islands is expanding and actually growing. I'll hold my breath to see if it will stay around. Norman had a hydrilla? outburst on the lower end one year a few years ago, I was ecstatic to see, but it was growing so thick it was blocking up peoples docks the next year it was like it was never there. I assume the state added more carp or did some sprays or additives.
Yes the hydrilla disappeared and I'm worried the same will happen to eel grass. I really don't think the grass carp can eat all the grass, I'm sure they sprayed it. Eel grass is really great habitat for bass
@bryanhenry2855 it's all over the place. Lower end is around 60° and midlake and north is around 50°. Hot water discharges makes the temps all over the place

Awesome video! Lots of excitement
Yeah I get excited not used to catching fish on big baits
Looked like a great day, happy to see you catching some large mouths! Man, I looked at those tater lures 😮 I’d be scared to cast one of them!
They are crazy expensive. I got a good deal on this one and I still never throw it near docks or rocks. I'm scared to break it. They do work though

That moonshiner can catch some big fish. I'm not good at throwing big baits but some guys catch giants on it around here

I need to try that wake bait more often. They were smashing it when they ate it. Thanks for watching
some great fish right there, keep pulling them in , that's what it all about
Thanks for watching it was fun
Thats a great day by any standards. Id keep fishing norman too.
Thanks for watching. Norman is a fun lake for sure
I'm going to have to give that moonshiner bait a try out here on Clark's hill
It will catch some big bass there. It works well during pre spawn and the shad spawn especially
You da man.
Thanks I wish this was tournament day

It's clear on the south end. I fished stumpy creek last Saturday it's still muddy. Probably 1-2 ft of visibility
that is so crazy, stumpy creek still muddy, thanks for the update! @@landonmoore76

Looks like those F1's they stocked are growing up
Yes I think they are
Nice bag of bass! I've been fishing mid lake in the mud. Looks like I need to go south next trip. Keep up the great videos.
@@bassfishinglakenorman5662 thanks I might have got lucky because it was bad on tournament day. The good bags were from the mid lake area
Nice brother, good day on the "windy" water!
