Wow!!! What a day for Feb and all the rain. I wasn't even planning to try figured the rain had them all turned off!! Once again you have taught me something with your vid. I appreciate you man.
Landon I'm new to the channel and love it, I live in Asheville and mostly fish Lake James. I really like how you put your baits in the screen shot of your video's. Keep up the awesome editing. Tight lines dude!
Sweet video I love the muddy water it’s one of my favorite times on Norman right behind the spawn. Got my boat fixed but now I’m sick lol still won’t make it out, maybe next weekend
Cold front this weekend might as well wait until next weekend but that's the CBC tournament then the BFL the weekend after. Norman has too many tournaments come fish on a weekday
Lol of course when I say that one bites, I actually tried that little swimbait all day never got a bite on it too muddy. I got permission to fish an 11 acre pond with shad stocked and not fished much this spring is going to be good
Good info. I got a little tournament on Greenwood, SC and it looks maybe worse than that and it’s supposed to have spots in it. Never fished it before.
Awesome job, bass are so strange. Why would they be in the muddy water and not in the clear? You think they think they are hidden and they are able ambush easier? Anyway great 👍 video
Thanks I think the ones in muddy water are easier to trick. Those clear water bass can see it too well. Lake Norman has a million boats a day fishing it. Alot of guys catch them in the clear water but I can't
Good video bud. Going to the Hill in the morning. Like you I believe everything I got tied up is red or has red in it. I'll hit you up on FB if I catch em.
@@landonmoore76 Well you were right after watching some videos from a while back. That speed trap you used gave us 2nd place and big fish today in our club tournament at the Hill. I can honestly say I own about every crankbait there is but never had a speed trap. But after watching you catch em on the that plug I picked up a few and used them today and when they eat it side ways from almost 6 pounds down in size you know they want that plug...... Now everybody is wanting one down here.....lol
@@joeyTR21X that's awesome that speed trap catches them that's for sure everyone throws it on Norman. I need to pick up some more. 2nd place is a good finish catching them on a crankbait is fun. How much total weight did you guys have?
@@landonmoore76 2nd.....14.31...Big fish 5.71....we stopped counting our bass caught during the tournament at 22. We ended up with around 30 bass caught. We even tried other square bills and not a single bite. They were definitely dialed in on that one plug.....
Thanks the thing about Norman is the pattern always change so who knows by the time of the hobie tournament. Alot of guys will be staying in clear water but there's some big ones in the muddy water
Yes it's a red craw rock crawler 50 but a dt 6 works too. I think the rock crawler gets hung up way less and cast better. They do great in rip rap and catch alot of spots
Wow!!! What a day for Feb and all the rain. I wasn't even planning to try figured the rain had them all turned off!! Once again you have taught me something with your vid. I appreciate you man.
Thanks I didn't have my hopes high for this day with the muddy water but I've had my best days in February with high muddy water
Great video Landon! Glad to see ya out there hammerin’ them spots buddy! Can’t wait for the next vid! 👊🏽
Thanks buddy I had low expectations for this day with the floods but they were biting
Again. Thanks for showing the lure and colors.
No problem they want something different everytime it seems like lately

Thanks I need to go to Lake James when the water temp gets to the 60s and go for my p.b smallmouth
Always producing awesome content. Great fish!
Thanks the weren't huge but good for spotted bass
Way to get it done! That Spro crank is my favorite too.
That crankbait flat out catches them I've been trying the rapala dt6 and I believe the rock crawler gets hung up less and casts better
Man that's a good day in the mud hope to be up there Saturday keep the videos coming man enjoy them
Thanks good luck Saturday I hope you catch a big bass
That red was getting it done for sure! Nice video
Thanks it works good this time of year
Daggum man! You gonna start guide service on Norman? “Landon’s Land’m Guide Service.”
Haha that's a good name for a guide service. I couldn't be a guide though, I go hours without a bite most of the time
Great video man, I was thinking of heading out to Norman Sunday if it wasn’t too muddy but now you got me thinking I should go no matter what!
It's really muddy but if you put in down at Blythe landing it's clear water down there
Great video! I really enjoy your content, and once I’m able to get out there, it will help me catch some fish.
Thanks they will be biting good soon March is a great month to fish
man solid fishing in those conditions. ill be making my way up norman soon too catch some of those hogs.
They'll be biting good soon if we get some warm days that muddy water warms up fast

Yo when you said "might as well put the spinning rods back in the box" I literally lol'd. Killing them in the mud! I like muddy water too.

@@landonmoore76 stocked with shad. Thats gonna be a killer pond
Killed it. Nice job
Thanks it was a fun day. I thought they might not bite with ther water being so muddy
Good info. I got a little tournament on Greenwood, SC and it looks maybe worse than that and it’s supposed to have spots in it. Never fished it before.
For spots look for main lake points with rock especially if they have wind blowing on them. Largemouth will be in the backs of creeks
NC Bassin thanks bro

Is rockcrawler what you call a red craw, or is that a name of the bait....?? Looked like a Rapala DT4 or 6??
Good day. Enjoy your videos
Thanks buddy I had low expectations with all the rain but they were biting this day
Santee Cooper is high and muddy also. I’m still going Saturday to try them.
@@williamthigpen4480 now is the time to catch a giant and santee has lunkers
Come on down for a weekend and fish with us. You got a free ride on my boat anytime you want to go.
@@williamthigpen4480 I work weekends but I might have to go try that one weekend. Those bass can eat the bass I caught
Are you using pinnacle boat ramp?
I went out of queens landing the boat ramp right before pinnacle
Always hit Governor’s Landing with no better luck. I guess I need to start fishing at the 150 bridges and north.
Seems like it's easier to trick those fish in muddy water
Good video bud. Going to the Hill in the morning. Like you I believe everything I got tied up is red or has red in it. I'll hit you up on FB if I catch em.
Awesome good luck down there the water might be a little warmer and they might bite good but cold fronts can make it tough

Is that spro crank sold in stores
Yes I know academy and bass pro sales them not sure about other places
Nevermind, I saw your link to Tackle Warehouse...Spro.......Never fished one....

That Berkeley Dredger will catch em too!
I also like True South Custom Lures blade bait better than a jack hammer. It thumps and hunts better in my opinion.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks we did good for the conditions
What was the name of the glass rod you used ?
Shimano exage 6'10"
thx for the sub!! Maybe i'll run in to you on the water again 🐟🐟🐟🐟
I'll see you out there
Guess imma have to buy some red colored baits then since it’s boutta be dirty for a while.
Yep all this rain is crazy. I would say it'll be muddy for a long time. Maybe no sight fishing this year
Here’s our new fishing song for your playlists! Enjoy!
