MORE OF THIS FROM ROLL20. I feel like I'm gaining levels in real life when you put out videos like this!!! Your community will grow so much stronger with content like this. Thanks for doing this.

There are already tons of videos out there on how to install mods in Roll20. You go to the Mod (API) Script library, select the mod you want to install and click "Add Script". Not sure why you think there's as "correct" way to do it. It's literally 4 clicks. 1 to get to the mod library, 1 to open the mod dropdown, 1 to select the mod, and 1 to add the mod.
After putting in Group Initiative into the API scripts, I didn't see any button show up in game that I could press to do Group Initiative. How do I get that button in the game?
I use one of those. Many of the others seem to be very much system specific. And not everyone plays THAT system. Can we have a focus on mods/api which work universally across all/most systems?
Perhaps you haven't looked in awhile, but a lot of the mods he mentioned ARE system agnostic. SmartAoE works with a variety of systems (D&D 5E, PathFinder, etc), TokenMod works with tokens in general, so of course it works with everything. Same with ChatSetAttr. Perhaps a little more looking around and little less complaining will get you the answers you seek.
There's also a lovely forum for each and every system where I'm sure people would be more than happy to help you figure out what mods work with "THAT" system.
Amazing. Everyone try: Token Action Maker, never have to open a monster sheet again! Initiative, attacks, saving throws skill checks everything right there on your monster tokens with 1 click. Life changing.
Nick I saw a video of magical darkenss you did with a funny into with you impersonating characters but I cannot find it. Anyone have alink or did it get deleted for some reason?
I'd add Teleport to this list... and Encounter Helper. I use those in setting up a map more than any others. Teleports interface can appear a little counter intuitive at first glance, but it's dead easy to figure out.
How about a mod that fixes roll20 terrible performance issues? Or a mod that allows to do a simple task of importing patreon-creators crafted maps from Dungeondraft with one click, but in a way that you won't have to waste lots of time fixing the aftermath of that import? All those mods are adding a bit of a life support to the patient, but unless the fundamental issues are fixed, there is not much hope in Roll20 for me, after using it almost a year...
You should search for videos on UniversalVTTImporter. It'll help you figure out how to import your DungeonDraft maps, with dynamic lightning already set up. It's not as easy as 1-click, but it's very straightforward. There is a little bit of copy/pasting involved. So if that scares you, perhaps using the internet is not the place for you.
Most of those mods work with other systems. He's just mentioning D&D 5E because it's literally the most popular. And if you're tired of it being "all the rage", might I suggest doing something other than watching videos about it then?

Highly recommend following Nick. He’s got amazing insight on Roll20 mods.
Nick Olivo does such a good job explaining roll20 mods and macros. If this is your first time seeing him, make sure you subscribe to him separately!
I knew of the last two, but everything else is AMAZING! Thank you so much!
Yo, look at you on the main roll20 account ! Learned so much from you brother
Glad you liked it! Happy gaming!
A video detailing how to correctly install mods would be very helpful.
This was a nice video! I’ll definitely use some of these mods!

Hi Nick, do you know how to modify the Status Info API mod so you can use your own custom status markers?
you have the macro text for the input values in Status Info? I am brand new to scripts

Me neither. Maybe you have to add it yourself via Makro

For some reason roll 20 has been lagging heavily for me and wont stop, what can i do to fix this

I prefer the Tracker Jacker mod over the tracker you highlighted
I miss 5etools extension
Pro membership huh? Hm…

tbh am realy tired of dnd 5e all the rage on roll20, other systems out there like pathfinder wod, etc
