Thanks for all these tutorials. Your channel is the first i go to when I'm thinking about adding an api or macro. It's really nice to learn how to to use them properly. Very much appreciate the time and effort you put into them.
Thank you Nick, the dltool script really help with cutting some weird lighting issues I've had coming from my PCs. Odd yellow "white outs" coming from 2 PC's that were carrying torches. This makes them not as nuclear as before - thank you!
This is exceptionally helpful, Nick. I have been using a TokenMod macro I set up a while ago that is very similar but this is more functional and informative. Personally, I think it's imperative to have this info at your disposal when running a game, especially if you have a mixed group of humans and demi-humans. Very quick and seamless to control lighting at the touch of a button instead of flipping through token and page tabs. Thank you to you, Keith and Oosh for making this happen! One question: if you have a tint color on a character token for darkvision will it keep that color when you toggle it on or off with this script?
Yes! The script will keep light tint settings when darkvision is toggled off and back on. I did not include tinted vision, because I have found that it overlaps with other light sources and vision in sometimes unexpected ways. But if someone wants it, it would be an easy addition.
@@keithcurtis Thanks, Keith. This script is terrific, btw! Works perfectly for me. Every GM on Roll20 needs this whether they realize it or not. It's definitely a must have API script if you use dynamic lighting.
I've searched for hours... Is this how my journey ends? I lay, weak, frustrated, and hungry... as my soul begins it's departure into the beyond, I let out a prayer to the almighty Nick Olivo.... Where tf is the mod library. Update: I get up and dust myself off... for I have found it. *chuckles in giant*
I really like your Roll20 related video's! Very helpfull, keep up the good work. After seeing this video I'm particulary interested in a mod or script that puts an invisibility token on a player whenever the player's token is in complete darkness. He's playing a Gloomstalker so this would be a big big help. If you would happen to know such a script or know how to set this up, you're LEGEND ;)
Thanks for the kind words, Kurt! Unfortunately, I'm not aware of something like that, sorry. You might ask over on the Roll20 forums, though, someone there might have an idea on how to handle that scenario.

Is there an easy way to find a mod that is giving an endless loop fault?
Not that I'm aware of. Your best bet is probably to disable all your mods, then re-enable them one at a time to see which one is causing the issue.
