Wonderful talent, outstanding depth and quality of interpretation, amazing beauty and variety of touch, unique tecnique. Great recital!
Beethoven's op. 111: a perfect balance beetwen emotions, passionality and classic form. What a magnificent and touching story Alberto Ferro tells us, playing this absolute masterpiece!
Chopin's three Mazurkas op. 59: only a great interpreter can understand the Polish spirit of these jewels in such a profound and elegant way.
Debussy's Prelude No.7 from Book II: “La terrasse des audiences du clair de lune”: extraordinary depth of the story, low-pitched and cristalline sounds (lightly “caressed” on the keyboard) that perfectly draw an atmosphere full of mystery. Great music and great interpretation!
Shostakovich, Sonata No. 1 op.12: interpreted with an amazing strength and intensity of expression, and with an exceptional technique.
What a wonderful recital!
