The 2.4 GDI with 6 speed automatic is the power train to go with. It's bullet proof and in a vehicle this size it should be plenty of power.

I just leased a 2019 Tucson Ultimate FWD in Hawaii. It replaces a 2016 Tucson Limited with Ultimate package, so a very direct comparison. I can say the new car is an improvement in pretty much every way-at least for me. The new powertrain which eliminates the DCT is a big improvement-except for the gas mileage. The 18" wheels ride smoother than my old 19" wheels, and the interior looks a little more premium than before. Overall, I would say you can't beat the Tucson when it comes to bang for the buck. I looked at everything lol. Only thing is the video quality on the cameras could be much better. And, yes, I agree memory buttons for the front seats should be added.
Which engine?
My wife has a 2016 Tucson she loves and is trading it in on this exact model.
The 2016 has had a few very odd quirky electrical problems and I think she’s nuts for getting another one.
For the record it is fun to drive.
We hope she enjoys her new Tucson! They definitely keep getting better and better with more standard features!
I purchased a new 2019 Tucson Ultimate trim in Pearl white with beige interior in December. I really like it. Used the smart cruise control on a trip to Las Vegas, it was great. The interior great, and I love the sun-roof and all the safety features. I'm not sure i got the 3 years free xm radio. Think the dealer just said 3 months. Is that a company wide thing 3 years for all cars or certain models, or is that dealer dependant? Only thing I would like is about 5-7 more MPG in the city especially.
Congratulations on your new vehicle and welcome to the Hyundai family!! The XM radio is a 3 month free trial not 3 year. James speaks about the Hyundai BlueLink which is a free 3 year trial. But the XM radio is only a 3 month trial, sorry if there was any misunderstanding. And an extra 5-7 mpg would be lovely in any situation. Is there any way you can post a video showing how to stream videos from your phone to the car screen?!
Unfortunately you can not stream videos from your phone to the actual car screen through apple car play or android auto for safety reasons of course. You would have to do it through third party software, which I am not too familiar with.
Only thing that they should have also added was memory buttons for seat positions.

I have a tucson SE 2019 the basics, how do I turn on the led strips of the main headlight?
Unfortunately the SE does not come with the LED Daytime Running Lights.
Google that... there’s probably a work around hack for that.
