I just purchased one of these and love it. It is very nice to drive and feels right. One minor feature that I love is the automatic tailgate. When you approach it with your hands full, and the key in your pocket, it beeps, and then opens by itself. I find that feature so much better than my Volvo, which requires a well-placed foot underneath to open it. Well-done Hyundai.
Auto tailgate is great but if you park in a garage with the back of the vehicle near the overhead door you have to be very careful. When I got my santa fe I almost caused the door to open into the closed garage door because I was standing off to the side at the back of the car. The thing started beeping and was about to open into the door but I was able to hold it closed so it canceled the opening cycle. I turned that feature off, but I do agree that it's a nice feature. It would be nice if it worked with the parking sensors in the back but I don't know if the 2 are connected. Maybe this summer I'll set up an experiment with a big sheet of cardboard standing in for the tailgate
@@BobKarnowski Thanks for the warning
How was ur experience in winter?
Quality-wise, I”d say they all are more or less equal. However, Hyundai’s longer and better warranty blows the other two out of the water.
I just switched from a 2017 Mazda CX-5 Touring to a 2020 Tucson Ultimate. I'm still trying to decide which one I like better. The Mazda definitely had better acceleration and handling, but the Tucson has way more tech/safety features.
I know this comment was a while ago but do you have any new input in regards to which car you prefer? I’m trying to decide between the two cars you mentioned.
I'd also like to know.
So I've had the Hyundai for almost a year now. Between the Tucson and the cx-5, it's really a toss-up. The Mazda definitely felt like a more premium vehicle, especially when talking about the interior and ride quality. But the Hyundai has way more bells and whistles for the cost. My Tucson Ultimate has a TON of driver assist and safety features that I would have only gotten in the CX-5 Signature, which was quite a bit more.
That being said, I'm definitely keeping an eye on any updates Mazda does to the CX-5. By the time my lease is up on the Tucson, Mazda may release a totally redesigned CX-5.
look at the discounts that Hyundai will give u since there in a model change,,,, i got over 6k off :D
did the same thing 30days ago. I'm enjoying mine. I have 2020 Value.
At #5:23 under each category, you can switch between different functions that include the car status, tires air pressure and service info.
“Let’s take it out and drive it” *3 miles til empty*
Me: 😰
Great vehicle,...I have a 2019 Tucson Ultimate minus the AWD. Luv this vehicle, has all the tech. & safety features one could ever want, plus a panoramic sunroof.
Tucson56 Just received my new Tucson 1.6T, really loved it after test drove Mazda CX-5 & Toyota CHR...........NO regret......
“Luv”
Good video 👍
I was searching for new car last year- I tried RAV4, Mazda CX-5. Tucson (Ultimate) has more futures and better price.
On long trip has very good mpg but in small town is a little heavy. I enjoy to drive every day and I think that I had good choice.
You should do a review on Kia Forte gt
Great content btw
RaStIn Tv I’ll see what I can do!
I have this vehicle. Very nice car! Definitely glad I got the Ulitmate. Spot on review
James Warmington thank you!
Nice video 👍👍
Is the Ultimate the highest trim , does it have parking sensor
Mine Tucson with Premium Plus Equip. coming on Wednesday ;)
Congrats 🎊 how's is going??)
My neighbor who is an auto mechanic tells me to select an SUV with timing chains.
Yes, so that it needs more service
What is a timing chain?
I wouldn’t
Many years ago bought Wife expensive German Car with Sun Roof we used it twice only ..not worth the $
like the Ultimate but going with the Limited.
In middle east tucson comes with 2.0 and 2.4 L mpi engine but with much less safety features I'd like to buy american tuscan but unfortunately the gdi engine not suitable to our fuel
Instead of trying go against the CR-V or RAV4, the Tucson should really aim to dethrone the Tiguan.
Too bad the glove box is not damped in the Tucson and the absence of the 40/20/40 folding rear seat is a let down for me.
The Tiguan they could of featured dual power seats in the Highline (SEL) as well make 360 cam standard instead of an option.
You did you mean funny Ben i like your Hyundai Tucson car that my aunt Heather has she had a 2020 Hyundai Tucson as in the back i don't know
so Ben when you drove the Honda you said that was the best; when you drove the Rav4 you said that nothing could match it. Now the Tuscon is the flavour of the day. Dude you have no credibility.
Atleast his always positive
I have a 2018 Jeep Compass limited the lease is almost up been looking on RUclips at a few different things 4 runner RAV4 and now a Tucson I deff always go fully loaded cause I like the bells 🔔 just can’t make up my mind
When you make a turn, please show the steering wheel so we know how far it needs to turn to complete. Showing the front tire makes me dizzy.
Can you fit a mountain bike in the back?
how much is in finacing
How to change speedometer from analog to digital?
No mention of the CX5! Imagine that!
This one or Honda Cr-v Ex-L?
No more turbo?! I have the 2018 value with the 1.6t and probably wouldn't buy another unless they introduce another turbo into the lineup.
The dct turbos have an active lawsuit and were removed from their new lines
Did I hear you say a full spare as in full size spare tyre. Spying the 80 km/h yellow sticker, relegates that tyre as a space saver, and should not exceed 80km/h. Not a fan of these, as one can picture this being fitted on a rainy night on a Freeway with a posted limit of 100km/h, and the driver not wishing to exceed 80 and sticking to the right hand lane in the US, or left hand lane in OZ, which would present an invitation to be rear ended. I tend to think though that in a straight line, the wheel being steel, bolted on securely, and the tyre being new, it should be able to sit on a 100km/h, but perhaps its in cornering at a speed higher than 80 is where it may not cope. So, is there anyone out there that can shed some light and technical reason as to why a space saver spare tyre is only rated to 80 km/h. Thanks in advance, cheers and safe motoring...
In oz we get a full size spare
@@georgegasiorowski2417 I'm a born and bred Australian and my Mercedes C200 came with a space saver spare. That said, not all new vehicles are fitted with them, but does point to our own Australian Design Rules in sanctioning their use here, so the inherent danger of fitting it in inclement weather at night on a busy road still exists. Granted, it's but a small percentage of motorists that may find themselves in this situation.
I'm still waiting for someone to reply to the reason for an 80km/h maximum for these space saver spare tyres. Are my thoughts of cornering above 80km/h dangerous, based on these wheels used in conjunction with the other three? Thanks George for your views, appreciate it. Cheers...
I'm trading in my 2016 BMW 328i for Ultimate Tucson Stellar Silver on Thursday. Lol I still have 2 days to change my mind :-(
How’s it compare
Look everyone. It's a Hardy Boy.
Max Power lol
How much is the ultimate full package?
Hey their Ben I'm just wondering what does Auto Hold mean in the 2020 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate AWD??.
Jay Patel for steep hills
@@BenHardyCars Oh Cool Beans, Thanks.
The auto hold feature lets you remove your foot from the brake pedal once you come to a complete stop so you don't have to keep your foot on the pedal at a long light or when you're in traffic or something like a drive thru line. When it's time to go you just hit the accelerator. Your brake lights stay on even when you remove your foot from the brake pedal (in case you were wondering). I have a loaded 2020 Santa Fe with this feature and I really like it. You do have to engage it each time you start the car since it is canceled when you turn the vehicle off. The hill assist (button in the center console) helps you in hilly areas by using the engine to provide braking on long downhill stretches so you don't overheat the brakes (by downshifting to a lower gear).
@@BobKarnowski Oh yeah now I know, I heard this somewhere 🤝🏼.
My Tucson has a carbon fibre dash
Nice car 🚹 dude
Do you know what a good lease price might be for this trim? With 0 down payment, maybe 10k miles and 36 months
The dealership I filmed at can answer that for you, just give them a call.
Does the 2020 Tucson top trim comes with the parking sensors at all ?
Unfortunately not...at least not US model. I heard Canadian version does, but not sure if that is true. Love this car but sooo wanted parking sensors too :)
Colors of interior
Almost all of this cars are hated in our country because of hot temperatures
So........................which is better? You never did any comparison
$34K? That’s crazy.
Almost all this cars are hated in our country because of the temperature the 2020 Hyundai Tucson European model
Wtf with the interior from 2010 ?
Can I ask how tall you are? I’m 6’0” and curious if this car is ideal for my height
5’11”
Ben Hardy would you say the Hyundai Tucson is more ideal for taller people or the RAV4/CR-V? Thank you !!
I'm 6'-2" and my 2019 Rav4 fits me great.
4 cylinder. 😕
Ben 🌟👍
Your response to the engine🤣🤣🤣
Why Doesn’t It Have Automatic Starter And A Sunroof?
It has a Panoramic Sunroof
Remote start with a phone app (Hyundai BlueLink)
My wife this exact model. It does have a panoramic sun roof. Remote start is via app/phone. It’s terrible. It takes almost a minute when it starts. Half of the time, you get an error on the app. My other issue is the back up camera. It’s very blurry all the time. Honestly, I really like the car minus the remote start app and the back up camera.
@@bcampbell214 Just put an aftermarket remote start in my 2019 Ultimate. It was plug in play, took 5 minutes and works with the factory key FOB. I got it from 12volt systems, if you are interested. And the flashers don't flash, thank God!
I LOUW VOU HYUNDAI Tucson 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Of course not..
Why European Market engine is hot
No, no it’s not
Motor sound is very annoying
Are you crazy,Tucson looks ugly compared to rav crv, go buy ice cream,HAHAHA
Couldn’t afford ice cream if I bought a rav! Ha haha
Garbage. I got Rav4 XLE PREMIUM 2020 2 days ago... accelerating and braking is amazing! Rav4 brakes are big 4x bigger than this car. Carplay comes standard on all Rav4! Super smooth!
