I guess we must've watched different films. It was well shot, lit, directed (in general), but for me, there was NO emotion in the story. And it would've helped if we knew why the father died. Did it have something to do with his loss of work? His stubbornness? Having said that, very well done for a FIRST FILM!
Beautifully done! This short conveys deep emotions in just a few minutes, with a warmth and sweetness matching its sorrow. Bravo!

I think it's good as well, and I think the ambiguous ending relating to cause of death is not very pleasing it was still well done
