Fantastic, brilliant video. I really wish more people could see this. Excellent breakdown and structure with the 7 attributes - every one of them reflects true, authentic leadership. Great stuff, John.
Uggh, this is like an exercise in false dichotomy "100-0 versus 0-100" "The choice to step up by being positive and optimisitc versus the choice to step back...". So when you discuss leadership you state that one of the first thing a leader should do when creating change is to ask for criticism of their plan in order to get buy in. The advice here does seem rather at odds with this advice.
Can I do this and set an example thus influencing a group without them knowing so they want to do this? I don't want people to think of this as a program or flavor of the month. I want to desire to do this. Can you help me?
Interesting question. As a leader, it's up to you to set the example, so go ahead and model exemplary behavior. However, in my work, we have the most success with building buy-in from employees at each level- from the executives to the security team.

Glad you found it valuable.
