I found a faster way to hit 70 in just one quest. Chapter select to ch.12 and reset quest progress. Fast travel to Nibelheim and pick up the quest My White-Haired Angel. The quest involves saving Tifa's cat from a bunch of bees. With Exp-Up materia I went from 52-70 just running this quest once, don't know if it matters but I was playing on Dynamic mode. It is also great for those who want to level Cait Sith. Let me know if it helped you out.
Thank you so much. That was a lot less painless than the strategy described in the video. The bees give 30k exp each on hard (and there's dozens throughout the quest.) I still had several bees left over when I hit 70. Didn't need to complete all chocobo races for the chocoking's cape either.
Only change I would make is Chap select to ch 12 instead of 11, because the quest isn't startable until the end of 11.

Thanks for this. I had to do this twice (not sure why once didn't work). The first time I did Dynamic difficulty, and the second time I did hard mode. I went from 51 to 63 the first time, and then 63 to 70 on the 2nd run. This is the easiest way to level 70 for sure, even with the short intro to chapter 12. While I appreciate the method shown in the video, I really struggle with ultra-repetitive methods like that.
Been following this dudes guides for literally years. So glad to see he went off on the drop of rebirth. Bro this is dope but the bees on the kitty sidequest in chap 13. Restart chapter no quest progress, fast travel to nibel, grab kitty sidequest, talk to ol chef lady, fast travel to cat, this setup but with aerith magnify fire too, super high magic stat and 2 people just for spam, easy mode "same exp as normal just less enemy hp", three circuits of fights with the bees, third one don't kill the queen at all she just keeps spawning 4 more bees. Go until you run out of mp. Insane fast. Rinse and repeat after third fight. "Takes like 2 minutes to restart chapter get in nibel take quest and fast travel to kitty".
Like I'd never imagined there'd be a way to power level from 50 to 70 as fast as that works

great method. also if anyone is interested just reload the 1st Chapter on hard mode after beating the game and you will farm EXP like crazy as well

Kudos to you for figuring this out. I was doing it somewhere else; I should have known this big group would offer more. The Gil and ap are non issues since it goes by so fast; no one should be complaining about it really. ****For those that have not done this yet or are not close**** I would seriously suggest taking yourself offline until you do. There are some updates coming and I would not be surprised in the least to see a few things get nerfed.. between this and clouds (or anyone really) pulse build, the game can be cakewalked even on hard mode w/ very minimal effort. It honestly breaks the game but for those with time restraints (like me) these are fantastic finds.

Still works after patch. Getting around 8,5k exp on hard mode with exp materia. Cait Sith also levels up but much slower. So, when you hit lvl 70, keep this strategy for another 10 min or so, that way he'll get lvl 70 as well.

This is good, personally for me, I did chadleys first lvl 70 simulator and by round 9 characters went from 55 to 60 so also give that a try and each monster gives 4k experience plus

I tried the white cat quest and jump to lvl 70 in less time, but completing all the side quest again feels like alot of hours to do. So I did this instead chapter 13 defeating all shinra troops and making sure leaving one alive then retry battle. I reach lvl 70 at least 30 mins and keeping all side quest complete.
If you want quick grind with everything, just find a line of enemies where you don’t really have to go far. I find fire takes a long time cast. I use earthquake with magnify and have another character use sygnify. Use cloud weapon with the most magic damage and put on when stagger he regains hp and mp. Use speed up magic cast with atb. I notice that the quick controls doesnt use magnify when casting spells. Once you’re done fighting, save your game and reload your save and go back up the line. Rinse and repeat. I used the hp and mp swap but if you get hit once, it’s over. So having the hp and mp regain from his weapon, helps a lot. Also that weapon has the max mp does max magic spell have that equip.

May i ask if you also used a comet spell alongside Firaga?
thier is a really good EXP spot in the temple it has about 16 officers in 1 firght which yeald about 107 XP each just hit them with magnifyed quaga then reset you can also find the EXP up materia before this fight for even better XP. also the XP yeald might veriey depennding on how meany you choose to kill before resetting

What I'm doing here wrong? Or after last update it doesn't work? I used Firaga kill enemies and got maybe 800 exp instead of 8000...
For those that aren't getting the EXP when you're post game that Primal is getting... Ensure EXP Plus is on an active party member or you would not receive the benefit of that materia.
He's getting 2 bars of ATB with mastered first strike materia and the chocobo pin from gold saucer winning all races however, ATB Boost achieves the same thing.

Just a heads up, this method only holds credit in post game, if you try it upon first arriving you'll get less than 1000xp per retry which isn't very time sensitive as you'll be getting 1 level per 30 retries at lvl50.

You mention it works for AP too, but it doesn't. One of my time materia resets and levels up on every retry.

Do you suggest to do this on hard mode or normal is just enough? I think Hard mode gives more Exp
Edit: I was wrong. Exp IS higher on hard mode, seems to be about double for this specific fight. However if you aren’t hitting for very high damage or don’t have the -aga spells, it saves time to just farm this on normal or dynamic. Exp gain is the same across all difficulties. So it’s actually faster if you set the game to easy if you aren’t hitting for super high magic damage or only have Fira instead of Firaga.
Am I being stupid. Been waiting to get to this point to try it out but I'm only getting 2-300 exp a time?

i did this strategy went from 50 to 70 in 20 minutes (hard mode, exp up) cait went up to 65. so cait will be ok you can continue this farm for just him or play more of the game as youre gonna do anyway
Can you tell me where you found all of your magnify materia? I've been under the impression that there are only 2 after the first chapter.
I don’t want to spoil anything but I will say it’s really late game.. a side quest in chapter 12 has the third.
@@jaysea838I've done all side quests in the game and only have two. I know there's a Magnify in Chapter 1, but given the fact that the other Materia I picked up in the flashback isn't on Cloud's person when we're in Kalm (which makes sense since it was a flashback) I must've missed a Magnify Materia somewhere else

Ayo Primalliquid, when is the 100% walkthrough dropping? Yours come highly recommended.
Was able to get 11,448 EXP per fight on the 3 Security Soldiers while on Hard Mode with the EXP Up Materia equipped by just using Firaga on Security Soldier A, which having ATB Boost helped a lot too. Another thing to note probably is to save often, since I crashed twice when doing this.
Do you get more ap in new game plus? I was gonna grind for a day but there’s no point if we get more after finishing might as well wait till then to max out materia what do you suggest is there a good way to max out materia by chapter 9 or should I wait

this is undoubtedly the best place for grinding exp, it just sucks that cait sith doesn't gain xp... Poor guy was like 18 levels behind when I finished

Does Magnify need to be maxed because my 2* doesn't seem to work on that group in the back.
leveling magnify just increases the damage, so if your not 1 shotting then yes
Don't forget the EXP UP Materia and the AP Boost Gear :)
AP doesn't carry over when you restart the battle. This is just for xp.
Dumb question but how do you start with 2 charges before the battle starts?

I also recommend doing this on Hard Mode and equipping someone with the EXP materia, just killing the three officers is giving me over 11k EXP.
EDIT: I just realized, the only issue with this method is that Cait Sith cannot level up with this method, as he doesn't appear again until chapter 14
2nd EDIT: Actually, Cait Sith can and does, you just don't get any alerts to it, and he doesn't get nearly as much EXP as everyone else. After getting everyone to 70, he was at 66.

Just exp imo.. it happened so fast and the AP is nominal. I levelled my characters from high 40’s to 70 in less than 30 minutes.
I went for his ap farm at lvl 50 and got lvl 70 before I finished my materia.

I'm pretty sure you get more exp on easy. But dynamic raises the levels of the enemies. Anyways, it would take literally under a minute to test :)
I have mine set to dynamic and it seems to scale up a bit each level. It was also a 400xp difference after swapping to it from easy
@@melanp4698 Actually, you get more on Hard. I tried it on Easy at 51, and was getting 2k each run, but then I switched it to hard and even just killing the three officers gets me over 11k. Both sets also have the EXP materia equipped. After a few minutes, I have everyone but Cait Sith at 60

So hitting lvl 70 just makes hard mode even harder because of the lvl scale. Just keep that in mind.
Is kind of late but i found a faster way after finish the game of course in Cosmo Canyon Region, just select chapter 13 Hard Mode and fast travel to cosmo canyon fast travel to Fiend Intel 1: Wizards of the Waste and per fight you get 58k exp Yes is 58k per fight and is super easy just using master Magnify+Master Ice materia Blizzagga will destroy this monster. You 58k exp plus Gil plus Ap

I just tested it, and the exp payout is actually HIGHER on EASY mode! WTF! *Compared to normal, i should state.

yeah he still gets xp. you can check in the party tab in the menu
When you level up your main 3 active party members do the remaining party members still level up the same time as your main party or you have to do each of the characters separately ?
All exp for party members and ap is shared so make sure you have all your materia slots filled even if you don’t use them

Whats the maximum hp for each character, the hp plus only gives a max of 30% so with 2 its 60%, is it possible to have 9999 for each character?
I’m pretty sure the bonus does not exceed 30%, equipping two level 5 HP Up’s will only increase your HP by 30%, same as two level 3s, the advantage in fully leveling one is you can get the 30% bonus with only a single materia slot. I’m only at 53 so I can answer the rest of your questions though. Clouds base HP at 53 is only 4500ish but it could balloon a lot in these last few levels.
@@CoastToGhost in REMAKE both cloud and barret could reach 9999hp while tifa was at 9500ish and aerith 8800ish at lv 50. In REBIRTH since the max is 70 do you see the partys hp reaching 9999 with only 30% hp plus?
@@steven100kyou can’t get 9999 regardless of what materia combination you use. They nerfed quite a few things for Rebirth.

Once you leave the Tiny Bronco to head through the forest to the temple, you can't explore anymore. It's the point of no return.

Im at chapter 9, but if the exp and ap gain worked like FF7R. You get it x2 after beat the game, now just use battle simulator or golden saucer and fight those battle with more rounds and you can finished it very quick, like you do grassland intel 1 in the early game (real time 2m for 5 rounds/25 ap without AP up materia)
A max first strike materia gives you 1 atb. There's also another item that gives u 1 atb bar.
I wanna know how to max level but I'm on Chapter 13 & I don't wanna be spoiled for the final chapter, but I also don't wanna replay the game via chapter select once I beat the game's main story, so... between a rock and a hard place here.
This didn't have any spoilers and now I wish I had finished watching past the spoiler warning, since I've already beaten these guys. Ah well. I'll try it on Chapter Select just to get the level 70 trophy.

Just choose easy to ensure its smooth sailing.. it should only take like 30 minutes to level everyone up if equipped right.

It's not patched. It's a post game method of leveling up since you get more exp and AP then. It's easier to do the Side Quest in Nibelheim to find Tifa's cat though. The bees give a ton exp post game. I went from 50 to 70 in 3 runs of it (maybe 10 minutes?) plus Cait Sith is still with you if you do it in Chapter 12.
Does this level your members that aren’t in your main 3 party?
Yup, they all gain exp an ap even if they're not in your main party, so equip them all with materia to passively level it up.
How do you get to 80 though? I want the level three limit breaks. I’m gonna put Tifa in a Tekken 8 trailer. This would make the process faster.

You can actually wipe out that first group. Theres more to both sides that count as same battle. Just dont wipe em all out
Crap just passed that. I didn’t think much of it because the EXP seemed so small. I’m guessing the SOLDIER is what gives good EXP because I was only getting 50 EXP per enemy which is trash.

It scales up as you level. I was on dynamic and by the end of the farm it was around 5k each time

This is not a viable option if you havent beat the game. I just got here on normal and am only getting about 500 exp per go. Would take about an hour to gain one level from 50 - 51

@@Boostergreen once you beat the game. You chapter select. Go back and use the method in the video. Youll be level 70 in about 15 - 20 minutes.

its because this is after you beat the main story where you will unlock chapter selection. After beating the main story, you will get 300% exp
