Thanks for the video: quick and straight to the point. i'm getting the "plugged in, can't charge right now" error so i'll try to move the charging port around to see if that fixes it
Also in this video we can see how to fix comon Motorola problem "Plugged in can't charge right now" message. At 3:50 we can see removal of flat cable from charger port. One Reddit user mentioned that the problem disappeared when he accidentally slightly dropped his phone on the ground. Since I had the same issue, and there was no solution online (everyone thinks it's a software issue, but it is instead a hardware one!), I concluded that it is a current variation caused by bad connection with unseated flat cable on the connector that we see at 3:50 mark, so I squeezed my phone in that area and slightly bumped it a few times, sure enough,it fixed the problem like magic! The phone software interpret the voltage variation caused by bad connection on that port as a bad charger and refuse to charge the phone in order to protect it from "bad charger".
@@PBKreviews Dude! i'm having that problem right now and can't seem to find anything online of use as well (all software related fixes failed). sadly squeezing and bumping doesn't seem to help in my case. I guess i'll try reconnecting -> substituting the charging port
no you don't have to for the finger print sensor, but if you mean the entire back cover, then yeah you would probably need to add new adhesive strip for it to hold it to the phone. You can always buy a back cover with pre installed adhesive like this : www.aliexpress.us/item/3256803901971064.html?algo_pvid=0b9427a4-5f18-449f-960b-b5722f827b26&algo_exp_id=0b9427a4-5f18-449f-960b-b5722f827b26-57&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22sku_id%22%3A%22-1%22%7D&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt&_randl_shipto=US
Hi, you would need to remove the back plate, top cover, and the battery so you have access to disconnecting the screen cable and running it through the opening in the midframe. Ya you would need to warm up the screen to loosen the adhesive to make it easier to pry off.
You need to do what is shown in this video, then when phone is disassembled you can heat up the screen with a hair dryer and pry the screen off the midframe. Get your new screen, apply new adhesive and re-assemble the phone.
It's not set up as a notification led for phone app notifications, but its a low battery notification led. When the phone is completely dead and has no power to display anything on the screen when you plug it in to charge, it will flash with a white led notification light to let you know the phone is charging but just not enough power to display it on the screen yet.
once you take the phone apart as shown in the video, just heat up the screen with a hair dryer, and pry it off the frame. Then get your new screen, (if needed apply new adhesive if the screen does not come with it) run the cable back through the midframe and re apply your screen and put it back together.
Amazing teardown video! No time lost, no meaningless music
in the background. Got one more subscriber.
This is why I love this channel

Ya that probably could be the problem or an issue with how the sub board is seated in place.

is it necessary to add glue to the fingerprint sensor and camera cover for reassembly?
