Wasn't Bitcoin at +- $6500 at that time. Closed the day at +- $9000. March 16 2020. I don't think they cut again after that, but if they did, bitcoin didn't get wrecked. Try again. 😂
@@AzHodl I think @SammyC27 means the last time the Fed pivoted, not the last time they cut. Usually when they first pivot to rate-cuts it is 'too late' and shows there are cracks in the economy the rate cuts are trying to address and markets do tend to fall. The Fed pivoted Aug 1, 2019 and soon after BTC lost 50% of it's value by the end of 2019. Not saying that has to happen, but people do seem to be disillusioned to think that a Fed pivot is immediately bullish which historically they are not
@@algorhythmygood points. My take is BTC is much more accepted as a meaningful investment this time around. As liquidity is injected into the economy high risk investments rise. Not sure BTC was previously in the same bucket as gold and silver. 🤷♂️. Gonna be fun regardless 🎉
Bitcoin is not favourable to short term holders, one should buy alt coin instead. If one could hold long term say 2 years, best bet is on Bitcoin since rate cut dip traditionally last for six months eventually Bitcoin price would rebound to it's previou ATH , it goes like clockwork.

BTC would also crash. Why? Because FUD. If US suddenly crashed that would be massive world wide fear, uncertainty, and doubt. New money entering BTC would pause. Buyers are not stupid. So sellers would temporarily out weigh buyers. Price would crash. Myself and many others would watch, and see if kept falling. and we would be scraping every bit cash we can find and buying. BTC would rebound some, and be very up and down. Crash of $ is serious. Would affect all other assets. Also this is not a well worded question. What do you mean the US crashes? That could mean gov, or dollar, or only the stock market. etc.
