Amy, use the brown paper bags for popcorn when you go on a road trip.
Yes!! I was just screaming the same at the TV! LOL! If you put popcorn in ziplock bags the popcorn will get soggy. I put ours in paper bags and fold them over or put a chip clip on the top and it keeps perfect!

You can move the paper bags by the popcorn machine. Move disposable cups with the snack cabinet with some paper napkins.
The air fryer would be safer where you currently have your popcorn machine. Because your kids will need dishes, silverware, and sauces from the refrigerator.

When I saw that new cabinet, I knew way to small. Measure before ordering, thats sorta like measure twice, cut once. I'd put that microwave in the kitchen, no matter what.

I use my water in the bottles like that to fill my Keurig. Just a thought. Gets it out of the way. lol and I can replace it if I need to. Oh and I fill my dog's water bowl with it too. 😁

I gave my paper lunch bags to vacation bible school. They made puppets for stories and lunches for neighborhood kids.
I love Brussel sprouts. I have been eating them since I was a little girl. My moms secret for getting us to eat vegetables was lots of butter lol. My new favorite way to eat Brussel sprouts is to sauté them with bacon and onions , add coco aminos and maple syrup. So delicious. I serve it over white rice and enjoy. I think they are underrated for sure ;)
I use the brown paper lunch bags to store mushrooms in the fridge :) It helps them keep much longer (do not wash until ready to use)
Yesterday I saw an Italian cook use finely chopped onions, carrots and celery to make a base for recipes. (They call the mixture soffritto). She cooked them until they were soft and golden and then froze them as you do in the little jars. But because they are already cooked it saved time, as it takes a while to cook onions etc until golden. Plus, I only buy celery if it’s in a recipe, so this will be great as I won’t have to buy it each time I need it. I can use a whole head at a time. For me, a great idea.
I store my Club Box of Food Wrap, or Foil, standing on end, under my Kitchen Sink. Over on the left side, in front corner. I love them there as so handy to get out and stow away. Love your Bakers Rack in that space. Flu season in IN, temps way up, then way down. Can be hard to stay well.
I do this for exactly the same reason. If I make a BIG Batch of something I can go wild & open 3 jars at one time. I also pack two bigger lots flat in freezer bags to save space.
I think Amy has been doing just this for years. Also known as the Holy Trinity and also known as Mirepoix. No matter what you call it, it's all good!
Amy you can also beat a lot of eggs and pour them onto a sheet pan bake in the oven and cut like the sausage.
FIRE HAZARD - that air fryer up against the shelf above it on the new cabinet/cart you put together (good job!). I would change that. Move the shelf up or relocate the appliance. Those small ovens/fryers are supposed to have air flow around them.

I had RSV and the fatigue was the worse. Other than that it was like I had a head cold. Took me about 4 weeks to get over fatigue
I'm in Orlando and pollen count is over 10 (on an 11 scale). You may have allergies too. They get really bad in Florida. My car looks yellow/green with the coating on it!
Yes...we had that in the mountains too.just coated everything...yes i definitely notice when the pollen is higher i usually have swollen eyes or sinus pressure...no fun
Lost my cooking mojo since our schedules changed in September. Came to watch for some fragments Friday ideas to give me motivation, I’m now planning on that plus a kitchen re-organisation 🤣 thanks Amy 🙏🏼

I used to take the lint out of the lint catcher and lay it on the countertop beside the dryer and I promise you the only time it got thrown away was when there was a grocery bag full piled on that countertop. But when I bought that lint bin to put on the side of the dryer when it gets full I empty it, genius!!!!

It’s going around in S.C to. It leaves you very tired. I’m five weeks in and I’m better but I’m not nearly as gitty up and go like I was. ❤❤
I would put extra dishes/appliances in cupboard hallway and that closet I would put tons of shelves and use as a normal food pantry. I think you hit it on the head when you said all this food gets set on the counter and it might get worse if you use the cupboards for food. It would be, we'll set it here for now and put away later.

I wouldn’t crowd the counter of your new rack as you should leave a spot for the dishes used in the microwave or air fryer when they come out as they could be very hot. It is always good to have somewhere to immediately set down to avoid burn hazard.
The top part of that cart you might could get Greg to mount on a wall somewhere for shelving. Maybe in that room where your vacuum and stuff is at.
Or the girls might want it mounted in their room for knick knacks.
Hi Amy! I live in north Florida. I keep my Christmas cactus inside my house in indirect sunlight and I only water it when the soil is really dried out . Sometimes it can be almost 2 weeks before I need to water it .

I feel if you put plastic glasses by the paper plates so you can see them when needed. Please put the aluminum pans in the kitchen equipment closet so if you ever have to take a meal to a function you will know that you have those to use.
Will the top of your Microwave Cart fit on the Baking Cart? I bet Greg could do that.

Have you thought of moving the microwave to the counter on the left of the fridge (since that all seems decorative anyways). Then you can fit both the air fryer and the popcorn maker on your hallway cart. I would remove the top rack from there to allow air flow, it is a fire hazard otherwise.

I always checked nutrition labels before buying because I have high blood pressure and pre diabetes after ages 50 health impacts. I have to watch how much amounts of salt, sugar and caffeine. Few years ago I gave up chips and sodas. No fun 😕

Amy, we save the dryer lint and stuff the empty toilet paper rolls/paper towel rolls (we also had a house of girls-hence alot of rolls being used) and save them for when we spend the summer at the lake, good woodstove starters and outdoor pits also.

Just an idea - you could donate the water bottles and the lunch bags to the place where you help out and serve. Sending love
Water bottles keep for several years. The start of hurricane season is just 13 weeks away. She's doing it right. Keep it through the season and then begin using it after the season and you only need to re-stock what you've used up at the start of the season on June 1st. The hurricane weather center recommends 3 days' worth of water for every member of the family, and they recommend 1 gallon per person per day. She'd need to keep 24 gallons for her family's use for 3 days minimum.
Thank you for the information. I normally would keep it for Longer they were the cheaper bottles and i find that they explode over time...not all of them but usually we have a few leak everywhere unless they were the better plastic ones...we will get more. We definitely use them up
