Today I was testing out some new frame rates to get a clearer picture and I thought I would upload the footage. I was fixing a Per Mobil F3 Corpus seat lift actuator. The fuse blew while the chair leg rests were elevated, which meant the leg lift couldn’t go back down. Also, raising the leg lift inhibits the drive function so this was an interesting day indeed.
My son has an F5 and it will not lift or recline the seat. The tech says he cannot hear the motor going so assumes it is the front motor. Do you have a guide or suggestions on how to replace it? He just went through a hip surgery and needs his chair to recline and the local techs are taking forever to get the motor and replacing it, thinking I may try to replace it myself.
Do you have any videos of repairs on the quantum edge chairs?
My wife’s chair is giving a seat lift error 20c2. Do you think it could be a blown fuse?
It’s likely. 90% of the time the fuse is blown because the control board has a short. But sometimes it just goes out on its own.
Would you rate Permobil at the highest level of quality and customer service? If not, what do you think their shortcomings are?

Figure out things you like, or are good at. Which of those things can make you a living, go do that thing. If your only chasing money your decisions are compromised. You don’t have to be a millionaire. America is one of the wealthiest countries in the world but our suicide rate climbs each year. I think this is because a lot of people live off credit trying to “fake it rich” and spend the rest of their time trying to make more money at a job they hate.
Money is a part of our lives, we have to acquire it to live, but we should live a lifestyle that impresses ourselves, and not our friends.

Is this the seat LIFT or TILT. You say one thing, the title says something different. I have a 2019 F3 with no functioning seat lift and I'm looking for solutions. I've replaced the fuse but it won't work, there's no light at all on the seat lift button.
There are two actuators that work in tandem for the seat to lift, one is this one that I replaced and the other is under the seat pan. Permobil Customer service is pretty good and they may be able to help you diagnose that. Could be a variety of things doing on with that
@@CreativeMechanic Thanks. Yes i figured that out at last. My F3 doesn't have the actuator under the seat pan. It's a used one i found on Ebay and I'm using it as my spare chair. I'm trying to find that part on Ebay and install it with help from a technician i know.
Q: i got f3 2017, but seat lift button is not light and display shows "M3" when i try to setup seat lift. what should i do?
Call Permobil customer service they should be able to walk you through your issue
