Thanks for the update, we've missed you. With regards to how you're handling the health issues of your "potatoes", ultimately, you are the one making the decisions. So often pet owners simply can't afford to go the distance with treatments and get their animals through to the other side. Those are tough decisions and I think a compensating mechanism to just think it's better to not put them through it so we feel less guilty about not being able to afford health care that could save them. I think that we get so much more from them than we ever give them, so if you can, spend the money and go the distance. Hope you have a great Christmas season and better new year!
Hello lovely, so wonderful to hear from you. Missed you too ❤️ Thank you for the kind message, I held off talking about the cost of everything but with Spud’s treatment too but we spent an actual small fortune. I never thought other people’s negative comments could be a result of them justifying their own choices, so thank you for that - it’s made me more compassionate towards them, I hadn’t thought of it that way at all. I am very grateful for your point of view. Have you sewn anything recently? Sending lots of love 😘😘❤️
So good to see you and get an update on those precious dogs of yours. Anyone who has had pets they loved to bits and the pet or pets were there with them when times were unpleasant or sad know heartbreak when they're not well. There's a certain kind of love we have for our beloved pets that surpasses or is different from the kind of love we share with humans. Pets are not judgemental or cruel, and they're good listeners! LOL I had a Himalayan cat and he was unlike any cat I ever had. I still miss him. And my dachshund , well, again, he was there when times were rough. He was so special. The vet was useless. I miss him too. I certainly know where you're coming from Sam, and I wish you all the best. The best of health to you and precious team potatoes! xx
Hello love, so lovely to hear from you. I could not agree more, it’s such an unconditional safe type of love. You summed it up perfectly. I’m so sorry for your losses, having a good and competent vet is so important and can be so difficult to find someone you gel with. How are you doing? Can’t believe it’s nearly November!! Sending lots and lots of love xxx
Great to see you back, Sam and to hear how things have improved for wobbles. I am not surprised your body told you you had carried enough stress and forced you to slow down. It's amazing how people feel it is acceptable to pass judgement on your decisions regarding your decisions regarding your pets. It is not like people make their decisions lightly and without due consideration of all their options. I know I have had a friend who I thought was crazy to make the decision she did regarding her dog (no, not you Sam) but I asked some questions regarding her options and then kept my opinion to myself, it was never mentioned again, I simply supported her in her decision. How are your parents doing after their car crash?
Hi Kim! How are you? It’s so lovely to hear from you!!! Sorry for late reply, I write out the replies and then forget to press send - I’m still not firing on all cylinders it seems. Ha yes, I find it strange too, I just couldn’t imagine given everyone such unsolicited views and opinions but maybe that’s the British coming through?! Hope you’re all doing okay? My parents are doing great thank you so much, took ages to get their car sorted though but much better now. Sending lots and lots of love xxxx
How dare anyone tell you how to care for your dogs! That's not something anyone else can really know enough about to judge! Anyway, glad to see the potatoes doing well. LOL, I love a good dog snore. I'm starting to get my sewjo back and am working on a denim york pinafore. And we've got a new to us irish water spaniel named Chuck. He is a little over a year, so very much a big puppy. Hugs! Hope you start feeling better.
Hello lovely, I have missed you, I was so so sorry to hear about your little one. How are you guys doing? Grief is such a difficult thing to navigate, it took me almost a full year before I could even tentatively talk about my cats passing. I hope you’re all doing okay, sending you so so much love. Are you on Instagram? I would do anything for a picture of Chuck!! He sounds wonderful! Congrats on the new family member, how is he settling in? Give him a sloppy kiss from me!! 😘😘❤️❤️
Great to see you back and all my love to the potatoes!!!🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much for the love - it means the world! 😘❤️🎉
Great to see you back and your new London programme sounds very exciting.
Thank you so much love, hope you’re doing well? 😘😘❤️
