    Thank you ! This is an excellent video because it goes through things from a basic level. Could you do a video explaining how to set up email systems like the one you used for registering interest?

    Best video I've watched so far on pre-launching a course. By the way I love my Thrive themes.

    Would love to learn more about scripting vids. Particularly sales vids! I’m asking you because I know you won’t BS me and You will have a unique approach,Thanks Shane.

      Over time, I've moved away from scripting for sales videos. Like my content videos, I prefer to have an outline with notes and then talk freely while recording.
      Having said that, a sales video generaly needs to be "tighter" than a content video. It's worth putting a bit more into it, because more rides on it.
      When it comes to the message itself, writing a sales video is not fundamentally different from writing a sales page. The same principles apply and you can follow copywriting structures like PAS or AIDA.

    Great info, but only if you have a good sized list of prospects. If starting out then it's a different story...

      yes, so focus on building a small audience first for a few months

    • @Thrivethemes

      I got my start with a tiny mailing list. If you build a small list of engaged people, you're off to the races. Just make sure you don't fall into the trap of trying to amass thousands of social media followers, only to find out it was all for nothing.

      I have the same question

    • @Thrivethemes
      @Thrivethemes  3 года назад +5

      If you're starting from 0, then you need to get in front of other people's audience. You can look for someone to partner up with or try to recruit affiliates right off the bat. Although for this, you will need to create some piece of work for potential affiliates to evaluate you by.
      The simple answer is: you either have to do the work to build a small seed audience (through content marketing) or you need to do the work to create a partnership and prove that you're a worthwhile partner.

      Can you be more specific about what you'd like to know? They were just RUclips videos embedded in WordPress blog posts. Not really much of a setup to talk about. :)

      @@Thrivethemes I mean on your landing page I saw 3 videos! Two videos were active and other is coming soon! So I would. Like to know how to set up that video on the landing page! It’s comes from
      Product launch formula, 3 part video series!
      Any way your content is amazing! I am in amazon fba niche and teach people how to sell on Amazon so i want to launch my course soon!
      Thanks lot!

      @@DeepakAdhav oh, I see! That's a pretty simple landing page, actually. The 3 video thumbnails are just images. When we add a new video in the series, we add a hyperlink to the video thumbnail. that's it, basically. :)

    Shane, what I'm supposed to do if in the first step of validation, people show interest in my course, but in the second step I get just 5 or 6 sales? I have to make the course or I refund those who bought me? I mean, it makes sense to make a course just for 5 people? What do I have to do in that case? Thanks

    • @Thrivethemes
      @Thrivethemes  3 года назад +4

      That depends a lot on the context. If I remember correctly, the very first time I did a pre-sale like this, back when I was starting out, I only got about a dozen sales. But since my audience was very small at the time, a dozen sales still meant that a good portion of my total audience had made the purchase.
      In this case, the pre-sale didn't make a lot of money, but it validated the product. And ultimately, through longer term marketing and recruiting affiliates and more, I ended up making about 100K from this course with those humble beginnings.
      Now, if only 1 or 2 people would have bought from that same audience, I would have refunded and started doing more research to try to figure out where the mismatch between my offer and people's needs was.
