Procedure & Chemical Reactions ;
1. First Add 50 ml of 50% hydrogen peroxide in a round bottomed flask
2. Then add 20 ml of liquid detergent
3. Then add some drops of food colouring
4. Finally add 15 ml of 3M POTASSIUM IODINE solution ( Acts as Catalyst)
👉 Hydrogen peroxide ( H2O2) decomposes to water ( H2O) and oxygen gas ( O2) is liberated along with heat

I remember that experiment. I also recall one time. The teacher gave us a fun candy making experiment before Christmas break, but we made candy canes. With me growing up with a huge dislike of mint. The smell was so unbearably strong. 😅
