(2023) Markland Mall is a rather average mall in the flatlands of In, specifically Kokomo IN. It's no Aruba Jamaica, but I still wanna take ya. Ko-fi - ko-fi.com/doom...
RIP sears. Born and raised. The mall has always been hit or miss for most people and I believe today most dont care much for it. It's often busy but I think it's just the store selection available and the location. Surprisingly kokomo is growing still. Also, there are more chicken restaurants than one could ever dream of.
A little while back I heard that Party City is going to officially close all it's stores. R.I.P. Party City. So many places are closing. Retail has been so depressing lately. I'm also surprised with how many books a million stores I still keep seeing in U.S. malls. I can't believe that so many are still in business.📚
I went to a Ben's Soft Pretzels when they used to operate at the Elkhart Concord Mall(RIP), and I liked the pretzels there. They started in Elkhart, btw. And as I recall reading online, this location closed a little before this mall shuttered for good. Thanks for the tour, even if this mall has a boring design nowadays. At least it isn't as ugly as a dull Hull mall.
This is the place the beach boys wanted to take you to in 1988. I assume it was nicer back then. Also not a.tropical island at all, I don't know what they smoked when they came here.
LOL the Massage Chairs with the Oasis Marketing 😅
This mall is so basic, I really like it. A book store and soft pretzel place in a mall is a huge plus, thanks for this obscure visit
Yes, I know. This is one of the most basic malls I've seen here on RUclips. I would love to shop here because I like the stores I'm seeing.😊
It really went for function over design, but it seems to be faring pretty well.
The art on the walls at the 24 second mark and also at the 44 second mark are just so beautiful. I love both but I like the flower mural better. 🌄🌹🕊💚
A lot of the town has murals done by local artists!
@@blakeallenmills Oh, ok. I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.🙂

This is where you wanna go to get away from it all.
Heh. Yes. Loved the Beach Boys reference... Above 40.... 44 as of two days ago, in fact! 😆
Did you ever make a video about the Greenwood mall in IN? I’m very interested in what you have to say
Came cross this video wanted check it out

Yes, I agree with the Hull comment. I also love soft pretzels from malls. They are just too good.🥨
@@ms.zelman3032Agreed!

Over 40 crowd here.. heading way down to Kokomo… 😂😂😂
Glad that I didn’t move to Kokomo in 2018.
and why not?
Hi✌️
Not crazy about this place but I like the businesses and the slanted skylights.
Another giant tax write off. These places dont sell enough stuff to pay overhead.
