    Unpopular Opinion: Scaffold matches are the absolute worst match type in wrestling history. Let’s watch guys awkwardly punch and kick each other for 10 minutes untill someone takes a stupid high bump. Hate it.

      There was once a shark cage match. It's exactly what it sounds like, 2 guys trying to have a match in a cage that was at most 3 feet square. And the cage was so cheap that the door kept popping open and they had to stop an close it back up. It was fucking awful. Think it's on YT.
      I'd go with blindfold matches as the worst gimmick match but scaffold matches are indeed the drizzling shits.

    • @Jim-Tuner
      @Jim-Tuner 3 года назад +2

      In a old-school scaffold match, they would do a controlled fall hanging under the scaffold by their hands. hanging under the scaffold cut the distance to fall quite a bit. Foley's thing was different because he was thrown off sideways from the top of the cage. The distance he fell was greater and the angle his body fell at was worse than any of the old scaffold matches.

    The ECW Between 1995 and it's sad Demise had everything that the 2 Big FEDS. were lacking. Great music, even though they didn't ask the Artists for permission to use it.lol!!!! Great storylines, [ Raven and Dreamers Feud over Beaulah in summer camp as an example. Even though violent Weapons matches, 30 foot falls onto tables and concrete floors was more the norm, they had guys like Lance Storm, a young Jericho, Malenko and Guerrero ( RIP) in some of the best technical matches ever. Order the Malenko- Guerrero Classics on R.F. Video. ECW had the perfect combination of everything, and the ECW FANS Were not easy to get over to. If the match stunk, the fans let them know it, and if one of the wrestlers screwed up, they got a huge " YOU FUKKED UP CHANT". It is in my humble opinion that ECW FROM 1994 Until it Closed its doors, Was the Greatest Wrestling Show ever!!!!

      Was thinking the exact same thing. Not that it doesn't take talent to draw and such... But, Anime in general turns me off just because of the way it looks. Big eyes, sloppily drawn features, and a lot of the time the characters dont even really look like the person being portrayed. I never understood or appreciated that style. I overlooked that style in the Voltron & G-Force cartoons from the late 70's because the drawings didn't have as many over the top features but it was the seed that grew into ridiculous looking modern anime, so now I dont even admit that I used to like those shows because if someone finds out, they will almost invariably recommend I watch some Dragonball Z show or something like it.
